Me, liking my job in a Normal™ and in no way totally awesome autistic way: *smells my fresh work polo shirt every morning because the detergent the laundry service for our uniforms use has become so incredibly comforting*

#they smell really good ok and just. so comforting.#i love my autistic brain and how different sensory input puts me into specific modes of functioning #also it's such a nice smell i wonder if anyone else knows lol #it's like how when I'm driving by now the sound of my own siren is making me reeeally calmly focussed #like i never experienced such calm focus like extreme focus #because i have to watch the traffic so closely #and the sound just immediately makes my mind go into that 'keep ALL traffic under observation and carefully navigate it' mode #it's very relaxing and incredibly stressful at the same time but it's a good stress #of course it's also exhausting but only afterwards lol #anyway #autism at work lol #soryu does medical stuff #the smell of my nice polo shirt grounds me and the sound of the siren makes me focus perfectly #it's so nice
