Had to draw this little duckie! This is the Ghost Ice duck from @noir-renard ‘s amazing story “If You Give A Bat A Burger” chapter 7! Tried to make it look like ice, said “screw it” and here we are. Hope you enjoy this little duckie as much as Jason + the batfam do!!

This is just a W.I.P but I recently have started getting into The Residents because I got reminded of them and I grew up listening to them cause of my dad but have actually decided to get into their music but I was listening to the Gingerbread man album (it’s a really fuckin good album) and was like “wow…I should draw something with this….I should combine it with toontownnn” but then i got distracted and didn’t and then @/rh0mbus0fruin posted a really cool redraw of one of the Gingerbread Man album stuff with toontown and i was like “HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT/pos” and then i got inspired to actually draw my idea so I’ll finish the next 5 sometime this week hopefully and then i’ll digitalize them

the thing about midori and yuzuru to me personally is that even how midori usually gets yuzuru's guard down by his very passionate attachment to him and his art, realistically speaking there's no way yuzuru wouldn't have to jump at least several dozen mental hoops to let himself get too close to someone whom he shouldn't have had any particular relation with initially. while i do love drawing them just hanging out a lot (enrichment!! i think itd be good for them both) a majority of the time it comes from a place where i think this guy would never let himself get too carried away and forgo any chance of making needless deeper interpersonal relationships and goddamn if im not going to study it

I grew up with horses, and definitely wanted to be a cowboy or something horse-related growing up (one of my school mascots was even the Cowboys, so bonus points to that!), but Zorro was like, my first hero. He's the guy I always imagined myself as when I was sitting in the saddle (except when I had my Batman costume on), and looking back, he's influenced so much of my life and love for stories (especially a lot of favorite character aesthetics 😜). And he had the coolest horse (which is my dream horse, just with a different name)!!

All that said, I'm going with Zorro Della for Cowboy Della. I think she would've loved the character, too. 🖤

This was a bit rushed, admittedly, but I got to play with some perspectives, clothing choices, and shading, so good exercise! ^_^

+ bonus Della sketch though, bc I also loved this idea:

Young Della's trying on Scrooge's old cowboy clothes (from Life & Times of Scrooge) - they're still just a pinch too big for her. 😝🥹🤠
