whenever my counterparts in phd programs complain about their stipend im always sympathetic because it’s like..it’s genuinely horrific the way that both the stipend and wages that universities pay their phd candidates and adjunct and associate professors are so so so so so low that it is almost impossible to live off of and there should be something done nationwide to address this…but also as a masters student im like, damn i wish i had a stipend lol
