Danny's been a bit hard, I just don't know what to do with him. He did go through quite a rewrite in my head too, I like him in the show and all I just think he's different to how I would have approached him. Teenage boy dies and comes back Different is such a interesting concept and I wanted to try that out. I'd definitely make the trans thing much more of a Thing, make it a Straight Up thing. I think his story would be mostly about finding out who he is, qhich is lowkey what the show's about. More religious imagery and talking though, lmao. He might get renamed altogether, he looks like a Quinn to me idk

Tucker's been the hardest to do something I have fun with because I never really connected with his character in the show. I see this Tucker as a bit of a obssessor, an otaku if you will. He's a shut in, really really good at video games (rythm and RPGs particularly), he listens to a lot of very different electronic music (buddy's not ready for puggnb, he'd love that stuff). If he's interested in something he'll learn everything about it and buy way too much merch (or make it if he has to, Sam planted a DIY worm in him). He has a lot of fictional crushes, most of the anime girls (and a few boys but he's still deeply in the closet here). His main fixation is technology, particularly computer parts and all the stuff involved with that. When he was little he was known for breaking calculators or whatever gadgets and devices he could because he liked to see how they were made. he later learned to disassemble them without breaking them lmao)

Sam's been the easiest, I understand her character the most tbh. I know a couple of people who are very invested in political and social movements and tbh making her a little too focused on that stuff is interesting (and. Potentially funny). Maybe she takes things too seriously, and ends ip getting herself in trouble. Would focus a lot on her relationship with her family (her mom, specifically). She's super super diy, most of her clothes are thrifted. she has the money for new stuff but refuses (or can't for the most part. She does spend her money on music and has a very impressive CD catalog. She would dilute her style a lot more around her family because as much as she's a punk queen, she doesn't want to hear her family's comments on her clothing and her messy makeup. Sticks and stones and all that but it does hurt to hear someone you're close to negatively comment on something you care about

God can people not be assholes to disabled workers?

I was at the dmv renewing my handicapped parking pass and overheard this guy loudly but calmly berating this most likely autistic clerk and calling them a robot and telling them to take off their mask. The clerk was working at the handicap counter so I tried to get them to move me to their counter (and thus get the other guy away without causing a scene) but they put me at a regular desk (like..whats the point of priority tickets for wheelchair users if I still have to use the tall desk where I have to fully depend on the clerks to do anything). I looked over to see if the guy was still at the handicap desk but I think the manager took over and the clerk was now helping a family.

If somehow the clerk sees this, please know everyone in the whole room was staring daggers at that guy (at least in his direction, there was a screen in the way) and thought he was an asshole, and I have no idea why the security guard didn't do anything (on my way back to the check in to get my ticket moved to the handicapped desk, the security guard wasn't there so I didn't have a chance to say anything). I'm sorry I couldn't help you and I hope your manager didn't blame you. That guy was an ass and I hope he never gets his tags transferred or whatever the hell he wanted. I hope his car explodes.

WIP Wednesday 💀 🧼

Just like I promised! I'm working on a Christmas Ghoap fic, it'll be a three part thingy. Extremely hallmark-ish but yaknow, maybe the fluff is deserved this season.

Also first person pov because I'm experimenting & I can.

Imagine being hyped up over returning to an empty house.

This place hasn’t been ‘home’ for a while, and considering how much I was travelling all over, I never thought I’d need a concept of home beyond a base to recover before, during and after missions.

Everything was left as I remembered — which only meant everything was the same sterile silence that held the vaguest trace of life, if you consider my mam and da’s belongings, and the random stuff that my sister didn't bother taking, scattered around. She would’ve visited, maybe, if she wasn’t over in Wales with a new kid running around. A handful, that bugger was, and her apologies were starting to make me feel tired so I waved the concern off. I don’t think I can handle having a kid around alongside her, not with my motor functions still feeling a bit fucked up. It wasn’t anything unmanageable, the main reason I’m not rotting in some hospital bed, but it hurt like a weeping bastard at times, and it was ten times more annoying when I had to deal with flares. Other than that, everything was your usual business.

Eat, scroll and watch shit on my laptop, think about what I’m supposed to do with my life after all hope fucked off, eat more, and sleep. A monotonous hell. I woke up today feeling like I needed to stretch my legs, so I walked straight to the door, slipped a coat over my shoulders and faced the Scottish winter head on. Like an absolute idiot. Feeling winded after just thirty minutes of walking was embarrassing enough, I had to grasp the mailbox before I fell over my arse in the final stretch. Credit to the mailbox though, I managed to catch the sight of a fancy looking envelope, from some law firm I’ve never seen or heard of. Since I didn’t have anything better to do for the rest of the day, I opened it immediately.

Guess who's inheriting his grandfather's tree farm, folks 🫶 and who is going to be there taking care of the said farm 😉💀 (if there are mistakes here that i missed. you didn't see them).

why i say this is like: (last time i checked) on twitter the english drip marketing has gotten vastly fewer likes/rt's than clorinde, emilie, or sigewinne's etc, while the jp twitter drip and bilibili posts have gotten basically the same amount of likes/shares as 4.7's. also maybe my search keywords are wrong but if you search natlan dark skin/纳塔黑皮 (on bilibili: video sharing site): there are some videos posting edits from twitter, and a fair amt of people comment 'oh this actually looks good' or 'oh not bad' etc, but there are also people just. being straight up racist, a good amount of people just writing this off as global fans organizing drama, and the usual retorts of 'just go play/make another game, genshin's supposed to cater to chinese aesthetics/beauty standards anyways' and im like. 🧍‍♀️

a few days ago, news came out that zaragoza, the capital of aragón, is now the 4th biggest city in all of spain, after madrid, barcelona and valencia. this might sound like pretty good news, but for a territory like aragon, its not, and here's why:

zaragoza's population is almost at 700k (694 109 exactly)

aragon's population is of around 1 325 000 (according data from 2022 from the aragonese statistics institute)

this means that almost 50% of aragon's population lives in the capital, meanwhile, the other 50% lives in all the other cities, towns and villages.

if we take a look at other cities (the few that there are) in aragon, they aren't growing at the same rate that zaragoza is. some of the time, they're even decreasing. for example, uesca, the 2nd biggest city in aragon, has a population of 53 305

i took data from the ine (national institue of statistics) and the respective wikipedia pages for and compared aragon as a whole and the three capital cities, zaragoza uesca and teruel:

as expected, all of the changes are positive, since they all increase. what is, in my opinion, more jarring, is the difference in density.

aragon is the 4th largest autonomous community in all of spain, and takes up almost 9.5% of spain's land area. meanwhile, the aragonese population accounts only for 2,75% of the spanish population.

if we compare it to other autonomous communities, we will be able to see the differences between rural and urban autonomous communities. you can compare it yourself on the spanish wikipedia page, where you can change the order of each column.

this is not a problem unique to aragon. other communities such as extremadura and both castillas have an extravagant amount of land area compared to a measly amount of inhabitants. i won't go into all the factors for this problem, because it's a lot and it would take at least an hour, but the problem could (for the most part) be solved when/if our governments started giving a shit about rural areas for things other than tourism and energy extraction. one of the main problems in these areas is the lack of job opportunities, forcing people to move to zaragoza or other urban areas like barcelona, valencia, or madrid.

i would have also loved to compare different villages' populations through time but 1. not enough time, 2. too many desolate villages and 3. i dont wanna get depressed by the numbers
