Housewarming
Fandom: The Legend of Korra Pairing: Bolin / Reader (AFAB, gender neutral) Rating: E Tags: Rough, Multiple Positions
Anon Requested: Can we get some rough bolin smut pls? Maybe like bolin and reader doing it in different places around a new apartment? (I LOVE your writing, I spent the better part of my day off on your blog)
A/N: this was originally waaaaay down my request list but. uh. inspiration struck? literally just Bolin and reader defiling every goddamn room of their new apartment. hell yeah. also this better go in the tags tumblr i stg.
By clicking read more you verify that you are at least 18 years old
Moving into an apartment together with your boyfriend was quite possibly the best decision you had ever made. It was just so fun, living with Bolin. You could wake up curled next to each other, Pabu pawing over Bolin’s face, chittering for his morning meal. You two could cook together, and do the dishes, and even that tedious task was manageable, when you had someone to do it with. When you came home from a long day at work, he was waiting, or you could expect him home soon, and you could talk to each other about everything under the sun. It was so sweet, and you couldn’t ask for anything more.
And, living together came with other perks.
Your back slammed against the wall of the hallway. What had been a heated makeout session in the living room had turned into something more, and with half your clothes gone, you didn’t know if you and Bolin would even make it to the bedroom.
“Bo, fuck-“ you tugged at his thick hair, gasping against his lips as he kissed you like you were water and he had been in the desert for days. You had been dating for well over a year at this point, and both of you should have been well past the honeymoon phase, but sharing your own space had brought something out in both of you. If you weren’t sharing sweet kisses and laughing at radio dramas, Bolin was shooting you hungry looks that you had never seen from him before.
He had always been gentle, and sweet, and so loving. But ever since you slammed him against the door to your apartment, kissing him so hard it could bruise after he brought the last of the furniture up, something had shifted. You couldn’t keep your hands off each other, and with an extensive knowledge of each other’s bodies and limits, combined with no roommates to be quiet for – you couldn’t help yourselves.
Bolin ground his hips against yours, drawing your attention back to the present as he kissed down your neck, a mix of suckling marks and gentle nips that had you gasping, nails raking against his naked shoulders.
“Bed?” he asked, kissing down to your exposed chest. You shook your head, keening as Bolin laved over a nipple, your hips thrusting against him, a low whimper escaping your lips.
“No, here,” you gasped out.
You had joked with him over dinner the other night that you two had fucked in practically every room of the house, and he had chuckled at it. You both had rattled them off over fire noodles.
Against the front door, that was first. You had slammed Bolin’s hips against it and he had gasped, the last box of trinkets discarded on the ground. You actually popped the button on his pants with how desperate you were to get him in your mouth, and when you did, Bolin had threaded his fingers through your hair, his hips pinned firm to the wall as you took him, and he screamed your name as he came down your throat.
The bedroom was next, of course. It was normal enough – you were under him, and he was loving you down like he always did, slow and sweet and perfect, when something clicked for him.
“Wait. We can be as loud as we want, can’t we?” he had whispered against your skin, and you had groaned, wrapping your legs around his hips, drawing him further inside you.
“Yeah, I guess so,” you had replied, not fully understanding his implication.
“Can I try something?” he had asked then, looking at you with a nervous smile, his green eyes shining with so much love for you that your heart might burst. “If you don’t like it, just say the word and I’ll – I’ll stop right away!”
He leaned back to gesture, swinging his hands across his chest, but you could hardly pay attention to him, with how the change in position pressed against you just right, the surge of pleasure distracting you.
“Yeah,” you breathed, nodding. You trusted him more than anything, and if there was something he wanted to try, you were all for it.
You smiled up at him, and he leaned over to press a small peck to your lips. It was gentle, and sweet, but as soon as his lips left yours, he pulled out – and he slammed into you, hard, and fast. You screamed, half in shock, and half in pleasure as he filled you, grabbing at Bolin.
“Y/n! Are you-“
“Spirits, don’t stop,” you whined, wiggling against him. “Spirits, Bo-!”
His name turned into a keen as he listened to you, thrusting into you hard, and fast – so rough that you saw stars, that the bed rocked and groaned in time with you. It was nothing like any other time Bolin had fucked you – he thrust into you like he was starved for it, and the noises that fell out of his mouth were sinful, his shoulders flexing as he braced his arms on either side of your head.
You touched yourself in time with his thrusts, and when you came, you pulled so taunt you never thought you could come back down.
The bathroom was next.  You had most definitely decided to shower with Bolin to help with the water bill, and not because he looked mesmerizing with water dripping down his back, the droplets sliding over his shoulders, dipping into that sweet space between his shoulder blades, where you could kiss them away, wrapping your arms around him.
He had laughed, asking you if you really wanted to get clean.
“But we’ve never had the chance to, before,” you had goaded him, your hands trailing down his chest, the planes of his abs, the slope of his stomach, tracing his hipbones with your fingers as he gasped.
“Haven’t you ever wanted to be clean and dirty at the same time?” you teased, trailing a single finger along the underside of his dick. His breath had caught, his weight shifting so he leaned against you. You smiled as you kissed his neck, wrapping one hand around his hard cock, firm and full in your hand, while the other squeezed his ass, tracing a finger along the crease there.
He had gasped, and when you pressed a single finger into him, he had shivered against you, thrust into your hand. You had him like that, pressed together under the warm water, massaging the spot inside of him that made him see stars until he all but sobbed at the twin points of pleasure that were your hands.
Then the kitchen, where he had hiked you onto the counter, and you had broken a jar of sugar in his haste to accommodate you, both gasping against each other’s mouths as he fucked into you hard and shallow, leaving marks all along your chest, your neck, that your coworkers had eyed you for the next day.
And then the living room, where he had worshiped you with his fingers and his mouth, his fingers curling inside you harsh and desperate, as if he demanded another orgasm from you, despite the fact that your voice was hoarse and your legs were shaking from the three orgasms he had already pulled from you, each one leaving you breathless.
The hallway was the last frontier for the two of you, and as his eyes met yours, you saw just how blown his pupils were, how much he needed you.
He kissed over your stomach, his fingers already working at your underwear. You wiggled, trying to help him ease you out of them, and he fell to his knees.
“Bo,” you gasped, as the clothing fell to the floor, and his lips only drew lower, biting along your hip, his fingers already sliding between your thighs to spread your legs. Something about that, about him parting your thighs, so he could have access to you, made you weak in the knees, tangling your hands in his hair and tugging harsh.
“Want you like this,” he mumbled, nosing at the junction of your thigh and groan, and you made a pathetic, desperate noise. “Like you had me.”
Your thoughts flashed back to that first day, when you had pressed him against the door and taken him into your mouth, and you moaned, your hips moving of their own accord, and he kissed against you there roughly, wrapping his arms around your legs.
Before you could even comprehend it, he was hooking your thighs over his shoulders, sliding you up the wall as he nuzzled against your heat, licking a long stripe against you as he held you up. You gasped as he held your whole weight on his shoulders, and he smothered himself in you, licking into you deep and desperate. You moaned so loud, your heels digging into his back as you arched, pressing him even closer, his nose rubbing against you just right, so perfect that you couldn’t even believe it.
His thumbs dug into your thighs, and he sucked at you, long and full, punctuated by a flick of his tongue that made you writhe on his shoulders.
“Bo please, please-“ you begged. It was all too much, too hot, and you ached with need for him.
He listened, sucking you harsh, rocking into you, his tongue never leaving the center of your need as you tugged at his hair, earning a low, rumbling moan from him as he pleased you, never letting up. You arched, your nails scraping against his scalp as your orgasm crashed over you, the pleasure leaving you gasping, pulsing against him as he licked you through it, moaning at the feeling of your release.
Your hands and thighs shook when he finally set you down, pulling back to lick his lips and smile at you.
“I think that counts as the whole apartment, now,” you gasped, still shaky on your feet. Bolin raised an eyebrow, then your words caught up to him, and he laughs, nuzzling against your stomach, still on his knees. You pressed his cheek to your skin, once again reminded of just how much you loved living with him.

Mun name: Rachel OOC Contact: Asks please. I’m not a great fan of IMs and I keep my other contact information private.
Who the heck is my muse anyway: Kitty Pryde is a self-described mutant rights activist who was one of the youngest mutants to ever join the X-Men. Her powers emerged when she was thirteen and a half, when she phased through the floor of her second-level bedroom. The X-Men and Emma Frost both tried to convince her parents to let her go with them, with Emma kidnapping the X-Men in the process and Kitty working to save them. She joined a fractured and hurting X-Men team immediately after the death of Jean Grey, and her quick wit and terrible costume choices provided a welcome distraction from their woes. Despite her young age, she joined the X-Men on many missions, including fighting the Brood and Skrulls in space.
The first time she tried to leave the team, heartbroken over Piotr Rasputin, she was possessed by the ninja demon entity, Ogun, and was imbued with all the technical martial arts skills his mind offered. She returned to the X-Men, only to be injured in a battle with the marauders that left her permanently phased and in danger of dissipating from existence. After some time, with the help of the Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom, she was returned to her natural state. However, the X-Men were soon killed, and she fled to England with her remaining friends, Rachel and Kurt, where she formed the British superhero team Excalibur with Brian Braddock and Meggan Puceanu. With Excalibur, Kitty traveled through time and across realities, and fell in love for a second time with Pete Wisdom. Some time after learning the X-Men were alive, Kitty returned to the United States to rejoin the team.
The second time Kitty left the team, it was to mourn the death of Piotr Rasputin and his sister Illyana to the Legacy Virus and the death of her father, killed on the mutant island Genosha. Wishing for a chance at normal life, Kitty moved back to her home state of Chicago and enrolls in college. But, there was no escaping the mutant life, and Kitty was forced to fight bigoted humans, mandatory therapy and Sentinels for the opportunity. Once again, she returned to the X-Men in their time of need, accompanying the team into space once more and sacrificing herself to save the Earth by phasing a giant bullet through the planet. She was lost in space for some time, before finally being saved by Magneto, while the X-Men were living on an island off San Francisco. However, her powers were once again broken and she was forced to wear a special suit to remain solid, until she was killed in a Breakworld plot and resurrected, her powers healed.
Following Schism, Kitty followed her old mentor Logan back to Westchester, where she co-headed the Jean Grey School of Higher Learning. She took no part in the fight between the Avengers and the X-Man over the Phoenix Force, and was devastated when Charles Xavier was killed. When the original X-Men were brought to the future, she decided to mentor them, eventually fleeing to Canada to be with Scott’s team. There, she began a relationship with long-time friend Illyana Rasputin, and the two rescued then adopted the mutant child Bo. Eventually, both teams were united once more, although the school had to be moved to Limbo to avoid the Terrigen Mist brought to earth by the Inhumans.
Points of interest:           Physical Appearance: Kitty is rather small in stature, both short and slight in frame. She has long, dark brown hair usually pulled back into a high ponytail, and deep brown eyes. When not wearing her uniform, her outfits fit largely into the simple jeans-tee-sweatshirt combo. She is usually confident in her mannerisms and behaves with purse. She isn’t afraid to take up space and give loud, inspiring speeches when she needs to.
Powers: Kitty is able to phase through material objects and elements such as fire and lightening. She does this by passing the molecules of her body through the molecules of the object in question, with the process being largely subconscious. In a similar way, she is also able to align her molecules with other objects so that she cannot pass through, which gives her the ability to walk on air. She is also able to phase other people with her, as long as she remains in physical contact with them. While intangible, her thoughts are perceived as erratic by anyone who tries to read them, and any electronic devices she phases through are instantly short-circuited. A less utilized aspect of her powers is her ability to blend into the shadows and be practically invisible.
Personality: Kitty is best described as a self-righteous, stubborn, kind, and passionate young woman. She is talkative, witty, sarcastic, and constantly trying to make light of her situation with humor. She has dedicated her life to the mutant cause and seen many friends die as a result, with this experience often lending itself to bitterness and regret. However, she is also fiercely determined to do her best by the next generation and eliminate prejudice against mutants so that others will be able to live a normal life. She is sometimes prone to bouts of insecurity, stemming mainly from body-image issues.
Skills: Kitty is a self-described genius and polymath, with prowess in physics, engineering, and computing software and hardware. She is also a  highly skilled hand-to-hand and armed martial artist, has trained in dance, and is a competent Earth and interstellar aircraft pilot, capable of speaking a wide array of Earth and alien languages.
Heritage: Kitty is a third-generation Jewish-American, her grandparents having fled Warsaw, Poland prior to the Nazi occupation. Her great aunt is known to have been killed in Auschwitz. Kitty’s father, Carmen Pryde, fought in the Vietnam War with Charles Xavier, having volunteered when he was still underage. He was divorced from her mother, Theresa Pryde, by the time Kitty was fifteen, and devoted his life to helping others in any way he could, and even when it got him in trouble with the Japanese mafia.
Canon Divergence: My Kitty diverges from canon at the point where she meets Peter Quill. On this blog, there was no romantic relationship between them and Kitty never joined the Guardians of the Galaxy in space.
What they’ve been up to recently: Kitty has recently returned from Chicago, having taken her third break from the X-Men following their war with the Inhumans. She now leads the team and heads the school now located in Central Park. Her aim is to increase mutant visibility in order to foster harmony between humans and mutants.
Where to find them: Kitty is currently operating out of New York, specifically in Central Park. However, she frequently travels around the United States and other parts of the world, answering distress calls from new mutants and battling threats to the planet.
Current plans: Currently, Kitty is adjusting to being the leader of the X-Men while juggling her responsibilities at the school and her relationships with Illyana, Bo, and other members of her mutant family. With Illyana, she is also working on expanding her abilities in order to phase through magick, which she has never been able to do before. However, she’s fearful of breaking her powers once more, and is largely keeping her experiments a secret from the rest of the team.
Desired interactions: Right now, there’s nothing specific I’m looking to write with a partner. However, I would love to explore more of Kitty’s canon relationships and do some mutant rights-related threads.
Offered interactions:            Teacher/Headmistress: Kitty is a lot of fun to writein a mentoring role, though this kind of interaction is more-or-less exclusive to mutant characters. Whether it’s guiding your character through mutant life or helping them with her powers, Kitty is a really compassionate, inspiring teacher.
Teammate: I enjoy action-orientated threads as much as dialogue-orientated ones, and this goes doubly for when the other character is a X-Men or mutant and they’re working together on some mutant-related issue. Rescuing young mutant children from terrible situations, dealing with monsters, stopping members of the new Brotherhood, or just training together in the Danger Room -- it’s all on the table.
Friend: Above all, Kitty is a great friend. She’s a great listener for when your muse is down, needs someone to talk to, or needs someone to beat their head against a wall. She’s reliable, loyal, and won’t shy away from some hard truths. But, she’s also a great person to just hang out with in general, whether your muse wants to go to a crazy nightclub or have a picnic lunch on the lawn.
Current open post/s: I don’t have any current open posts, but I welcome everyone to send in memes or chat to me about making a starter or plotting out something more in-depth.
Anything else?: I am currently working on a PhD in social psychology, am attempting to get two research papers published, and am running tutorial classes at my university. I usually set up my queue to put out one reply per day, with the queue restocked on the weekend.

12 tips for organizing your work space
New Post has been published on https://nexcraft.co/12-tips-for-organizing-your-work-space/
12 tips for organizing your work space
The following is an excerpt adapted from Tips and Tales from the Workshop: A Handy Reference for Makers by Gareth Branwyn.
Some studies suggest that organization leads to clearer, more productive thinking and creating, while others claim the opposite. You likely already have your own work and organizational style, and not much is going to change that. I’m basically a mildly messy person with periodic bursts of organizational energy. For years, I beat myself up over my chaotic ways, but then I decided that this was my basic organizational style and that I have still been able to be productive and successful.
One thing I’ve found that helps motivate me to be organized is really clever, thoughtful, and time-saving ideas. Reading a great organizational tip or about some cool organizational technology can inspire a burst of reorganizational energy. Here are a few of my favorite ideas.
1. Organize for first-order retrievability
This tip can help reduce the time it takes to find and grab your tools and materials. Arrange your workspace so that the more commonly used the tool or material is, the closer it is to you. Conversely, put more occasional tools farther away. This way, the shop is designed so that you can easily find what you need as you need it. Via Adam Savage
2. Arrange cords with binder clips
Use a row of binder clips on the edge of your desk as a cable organizer.
3. Take advantage of equipment dead space
Jay Bates shared this useful shop-organizing tip in one of his YouTube videos. For most of us, space is always at a premium. When setting up a shop, you want to carefully think of the workflow around the machines and how you can optimize operational efficiency and tool and material retrievability. Jay suggests that you plan to use the dead space of each machine (the side that you never interact with) to your advantage by grouping these edges together.
4. Keep track of small parts
Use double-sided tape to hold small parts in place while you disassemble or reassemble something. Affix the tape to a piece of paper and write where each part goes.
5. Apply stretch wrap to organize straps
If you have toe straps and ratchet straps in your shop or in your truck, you can quickly bundle them using stretch wrap. Just use a few loops of wrap and your rolled straps are good to go. You can even reuse the wrap for multiple strap-wrappings. Via Jay Bates
6. Mark your tools
From Caleb Kraft: “My grandfather was handy with tools (weren’t they all?). He had a small woodshop and a collection of miscellany that had been acquired through years of working on various machines. At some point he worked on trains; at another, he repaired vacuums.
“When you’re working in shops with other people, it is always smart to mark your tools so that you know someone else won’t end up with them. My grandpa’s mark was five little notches or slashes.
“I inherited many of grandad’s tools when he passed away. They’ve outlived many of the cheap, modern versions I’ve acquired during my workshop explorations. Those five marks have become something of a sign of quality in my mind.
“Maybe I should begin marking my favorite tools. How would a CNC mill look with five notches on the side?”
7. Label cables with bread tags
Here’s a tried and true method of cable labeling that I have used for years: plastic bread-bag tags.
8. Make your own pocket notebooks
I’ve been using Moleskine Cahiers pocket notebooks every day since 2006. I have dozens of volumes of them filled with article ideas, design sketches, notes on my day, and various other scribblings. They’re fun to go back through to see where my mind has been over the years. I often find buried gems I can use today. As much as I love Cahiers, they aren’t cheap. And while I customize mine with cover art, stamps, and stickers, it’s just not the same as if I’d made them myself.
Bob Clagett of I Like to Make Stuff makes his own (see his Pocket Notebooks how-to on YouTube). When you make them yourself, you have something that’s infinitely customizable using your preference of cover paper stock and design, internal paper (or combination of paper types), pockets, size, and so on. I’ve made a few of my own over the years and they definitely hold a special “inspired object” status in my collection.
9. Give your notebook a keyword index
I was so thrilled when I ran across this notebook hack, allegedly from Japan, on Instagram. I fill up lots of notebooks and frequently use a single journal for work ideas, personal projects, and domestic planning (trips, meals, shopping, and so on). Finding things in makers’ notebooks across volumes, and within volumes, can be a real chore. The only real way of fixing this access problem is taking the considerable time to index everything.
The following simple approach allows you to fairly quickly build a back-of-book index of significant content as you go (you could build it in the front of the book, too).
Here’s how it works:
First you start off with your content. In this example, Adam, who runs the blog High Five, is making a recipe book. Here’s his first recipe.
He creates a listing of recipe types on the final page of his recipe notebook.
Based on his index of recipe types, he puts the appropriate marking on the outside edge of the page for this Chinese recipe.
Next, you can see that by placing corresponding marks on the edges of the pages that map to the recipe index in the back, Adam has organized his recipes for much easier access.
I’m definitely going to start doing this in all of my notebooks. Via Adam at High Five Blog
10. Order cables with toilet paper tubes
Use empty toilet paper rolls to hold bundled personal electronics cables and other cords together.
11. Hold cables with zip ties
This trick is from Donald Bell of Maker Project Lab: “This is an easy, useful way to stand-off cables across a length of conduit using zip ties and cheap vinyl tubing. It’s a way to tidy up electrical wiring, fuel lines, data cables, pneumatic tubes, and bicycle brake lines.”
Cut off a ¾-inch section of clear vinyl tubing. You can get this stuff cheap as aquarium air pump tubing.
Run your zip tie through the small section of tube, leaving it sitting midway down the zip tie like a ring.
Take the pointy end of the zip tie and wrap the smooth side around whatever you’re trying to wrangle.
Shoot the pointy end back through the ring of vinyl tubing. You should now have a looped cable on one side of the tube. On the other side, you should have the two ends of your zip tie with the smooth sides facing each other.
Cinch up the loop by adjusting the vinyl tubing ring toward the cable, creating enough length for the ends of your zip tie to be secured around whatever you’re fastening it to.
Zip it up, trim off the extra, and repeat as needed.
Also from Donald Bell: “I came across this tip as a way to harness spark plug cables in your engine. It’s a great way to gather up any group of thick cables, while simultaneously keeping them separate from one another.”
Lay your cables down parallel to one another and count them. The number of zip ties you’ll need is equal to the number of cables.
Loosely attach one zip tie across the entire bunch of cables like a collar, leaving plenty of slack.
Tie loose, perpendicular rings completely around the first zip tie between each cable, parallel to the cables.
Tighten the first zip tie, and then move on to the small rings. Now, trim the excess.
12. Manage your cords
On his YouTube channel, homesteader Dirt Farmer Jay offers a tip for a superior, less kinky way to store your heavy-duty power cords.
The basic steps are:
Plug the male end into the female end.
Grab the doubled cord below the loop that marks the halfway point and flip it over so the loop is facing down.
Push the doubled cord through the loop and grab it with your other hand.
Repeat to form a chain.
