i need to fully rewatch minecraft diaries but can i just hop on here to complain rq... the autism in me HATES huge timeskips and i feel the period of the timeskip for season one was so wasteful.

yeah it kinda makes you realize 'holy shit time is important and this random abrupt event makes the characters value time!!!!' but also so many character arcs went to SHITTTT... like dante being a new guard, i feel so much couldve been done with that regarding having closer bonds with the guards in his life. he couldve been angrier,

imagine working for a lord who graces you with the opportunity to work in her village and you get close to the guardsmen. they teach you everything you know, you greet the townspeople, sort out general issues, help build the town up further. you have close bonds woth everyone, life is good. and then they suddenly disappear, for years on end. hes not even angry, sure he didnt get to know them as well as everyone else so he isnt even angry!!! let him be angry honestly i think dante deserves it i feel they shouldve built on his character way more.........somany characters went undervalued by such a stupid timeskip

also i personally think the different time work thing in UHH lady irenes realm was meh but the autism in me fucking hates big timeskips cuz once again theres so much wasted potential with character arcs and shit. its a very very lazy writing technique in my opinion too!!!! if anything i felt if they HAD to add a timeskip cuz they seriously couldnt write their characters better, make the timeskip a few years not like. what was it 15??? it just made me mad oopsies

Alright I'm saying fuck it and posting all my older shit that I never posted here. They will be ordered from oldest to newest and they will all be worse than my more recent stuff. Anyway, let me give you the tour

This first section is titled "shitty meme drawings from 3 years ago" because I started drawing digitally mostly just to make dumb images for my friends

And then in early 2021 I switched to using a better brush, I used this image to test it out

The second section is titled "still shitty memes but they're from less long ago and also I started using a brush that better fits my style"

For the 2021 holiday season I made myself a halloween and christmas icon. I honestly still like them although they could've been done a bit better

In early 2022 I made this and somehow did it worse than the first drawing I ever did on digital, I think the brush just didnt vibe with the meme as much and also I was lazy idk. Benthic bloom funny tho

I've been playing a ton of shit and not talking about it but

Star Ocean 2nd Story (PS1) is already one of my favorite RPGs just like First Departure R was. I'm kinda leaning toward not liking Claude but its probably because I'm playing as Rena so I'm not getting his internal monologue. But based on his intro in the 2nd Story R demo and how he's acting about Dias I'm like youre kinda a dumbass huh. But not in the lovable heroic way Roddick was. But I think its fine if he kinda sucks, there's room for that

Umihara Kawase is another game that is like instantly on my favorites of all time list. I'm on stage 5 and I'm like okay top 3 SNES game. Could be top 1 but Hebereke and Star Ocean are on there too hehe. But its like a physics based grapple platformer and its so cool. I need to go look at the new one again even though its kinda uggy

I bought Mushihime-sama because I'm still trying to expand my shmup horizons but I haven't been on my Switch much because I'm playing Star Ocean 2 and Pokemon Ruby but from the 2 seconds I played it was really good

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days, I'm giving so much leniency because I want to like Xion and I wanna experience her story. So far I've only done the tutorial with Axel and its a DS game so I dont expect much from it in terms of performance or visuals or whatever, its fine. My problem and why I'm having to exercise patience is that the writing of that series is so frustrating. The idea of that game is flawed. The whole thing exists to make the organization seem lamer. Like the mysterious shadow guys that were a big threat in chain of memories and 2, those guys all get together for meetings where xemnas assigns them busy work and they groan and complain about it even though i always forget theyre supposed to be emotionless. Vexen doing the Nagatoro crazy eyes all the time doesnt come off as hollow to me. It just makes me mad because its like FF7 where it could be great but a man named Tetsuya Nomura was handed a pen and paper and now we're here. But I will do it for her

I played 20 minutes of Izuna Legend of the Unemployed Ninja and I basically did the intro and then died to the 3rd enemy in the first floor of the dungeon but that game shouldve been more popular. It's really good but unfortunately it released on the same system as Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Izuna sucks so bad I love her. The first thing she does is go to a shrine that says "this gem keeps the gods from being mad at us do not touch" and shes like hehehe all for meeee. Then the inn keeper is like I'm charging you 300x the rent till you fix this and shes like "we cant afford that, I will pay it... with my life" and she takes out a matchlock pistol and puts it to her head, and the inn lady is like yeah alright do it, and then you hear a click noise and Izuna is like damn out of bullets. I was like this is an insane way to introduce this character but shes my fail girl and we're gonna solve this curse together

The other fun thing has been playing Dark Souls 1 with my brother alongside his co-op playthrough of Smellden Ring with his partner, cuz DS1 is a good game and Smellden Ring is so bad that he has fully admitted I was right when i was bitching like a year ago or whatever. Cuz he took faith this time and now that theyve hit the wall of Mohg and Malenia hes like why the fuck is everything in this fucking game INT. And I'm like yeah dude, idk!!! But then like, we just did Sen's Fortress in DS1 and that place is so mean and fucked up but I was having a chill time just walking through all the traps and snake men and kicking my feets under the desk. DS1 is fully relaxing to me just like Bloodborne and most of DS3. Next time we play is O&S though so I'll get back 2 u on that statement

this morning i had a dream, it was final exam time and for some reason i was in my 9th grade historty teachers room, i got done and left obvi cause fuck staying in the room and then for some reason i went and climbed a locker and now i know what i wanna do after exams this year. i really really wanna climb a locker i used to hang off of them for the sillies when i was bored in photography my friends in that class used to be like wtf are u doing and im like straight chilling i shouldve had this epiphany like 2 months ago dammit

2. what was the first story you've ever written?

it was either a harry potter or a pirates of the Caribbean one, and we're talking like it was written 20 years ago so i don't have high faith in the quality lol. Though one of the POTC ones I wrote I did really like... it might have a chance lol.

for my current fandoms: it's either No Strings with Barba or Unexpected Circumstances with Carisi.

13. what feedback did you receive for your writing that stuck with you?

i dont think i've ever gotten feedback? i know sometimes ive asked a friend to read something over to see if it flowed/fit/was good and it's usually only "omg its so good" and not actual feedback lol. im sure i've gotten some unsolicited advice or comments before too but i tend to ignore them cause they're usually rude lol, even if they weren't intened to be.

17. tell us a fun fact about your current WIP?

SIS: i truly have no idea what's going on. even with the outline i'm struggling to get this one done and feel terrible that it's continually taking so long between chs. i shouldve done the s*gar m*mmy emily one first lol.

HH: is one of the first things i've written, and the reason i chose to rewrite is because i want to shift it into an original work and get published.
