of course zara zara always comes first but wow. it really is hard to pick just five but without including other language songs, I would have say (in no particular order):

1. chand sifarish. actually the entirety of the fanaa ost goes so hard but I'm particularly attached to this song (the lyrics and the vocals are just......... yupp)

2. manja. amit trivedi was so mephobic when he made this song. it makes me cry all the goddamn time. (I'm legit obsessed with amit trivedi's stuff so yeah)

3. preet. this one is a bit more quiet so you might not like it but it has a very dreamy and haunting vibe. it's also really sad the way she sings it and I'm just really into this one

4. agar tum saath ho. do I- do I have to explain this? it's just sooo.......... yeah 😔😭

5. sunn raha hai. shreya ghoshal was my favourite singer growing up and the way she did this one had kid me obsessed. this one is just so dear to my heart. and no other version of this song exists obviously :))

6. okay I know I said five but I just cannot not include masakali my beloved. it's just so sooooo good like I grew up with a r rahman songs but this one is just my favourite. this entire soundtrack actually >>>>>>>
