1. Okay so this isn’t so much me giving you a prompt as much as me getting an idea for Jinmay character exploration off my chest. Chiro and his team are flung into the future. There is basically nothing. Shugazoom is a wasteland of ruined buildings and what little people remain are cliches from most Apocalypse movies. The one colony of quasi-civilisation is a casino-bar-thing? Run out of the super robot. Jinmay runs it.

2. She has not aged and she is not the sweet girl any of the team remembers. We see a broader spectrum of her personality and what living that long has done for her. Chiro realises they have an exp. date and can’t handle this. The rest of the team is torn cuz they know they are in a boat similar to Jinmay and remember the friends they know they’ve out lived. Jinmay is a badass and terrifying as the years as Shugazoom sole protector has sharpened every skill the team split between the 6 of them.

3. Some how this future trip leads to like a tuff split between Chiro and Jinmay they get back to the present&he takes longer (mnths&adventures later) than he should to actually get guts to explain the future 2present Jinmay&it’s hard for both of them. It’s this moment of maturity growth that they hate&need. Jinmay sets out on her own&develops her skills that on various adventures the team gets to see everynow&again. Jinmay is a strong STRONG ally the team cherishes.

4.Jinmay BREAKS UP WITH CHIRO I forgot to make that clear a sec ago! He wants to make it work&he is the one holding onto her cuz he believes him being n the present can “fix” jinmay’s future. only reason he confessed all this to her is cuz she forces it out of him(months&adventures l8r I remind you)jinmays skills grow cuz she throws herself on solo adventure aftr solo adventure gettin Chiro’s immature bullshit out of her head. they reconcile&become friends n the end and theyre both better for it

5. Its a big long story that I’m too lazy to write cuz i see it being an over arching story over the course of multiple multiple episodes and I got a real world job to go to most days!! Like I said I was gonna tweak this to make it an actual prompt but no... no this is a full on plot idea I have that I wanna be cannon but will NEVER GET CURSE YOU DISNEY!!!!!

you have no idea how BADLY i want to write this, ‘non. this is FUCKING AMAZING and i love to pieces. i want to play in this universe. i want to live here. i can barely keep up with the fanfics i have going because of my original novel. but fuck if this isn’t tempting as hell. 

if you happen to get the time, between ur life and ur full time job, PLS PLS PLS feel free to rant about this to me because I LOVE IT.

OKAY SO FIRST OFF for whatever reason i was imagining future jinmay in a redux of her hills have five outfit??? ((aka my FAVORITE jinmay outfit, mmm)) like maybe still black or maybe with some more brown it in it to kind of match the gritty landscape. her skin the robotic color it turns when she goes into her fighting mode, since she’s been living like that this whole time. her eyes all glowy and green. maybe some upgrades to her weaponry??? heart beam, check. maybe she has like. a mandarin-type/lightsaber esque sword she can turn her hand into??? i dunno 

okay so now that i’ve babbled about character design 

im getting this tough, rough and tumble bartender vibe from her???? other survivors don’t dare fuck with her. there are no fights in her bar. it’s the cleanest most well run bar in the apocalypse.

even though she’s a lot more jaded and bitter i see her employing people who are down on their luck. girls who need a safe place to stay, parents who need a place for their kids, etc. the super robot is a safehaven because that’s her way of honoring their legacy--and also, even though she’s a lot... rougher than she used to be? she’s still got that kind, kind heart.

she ends up reminding chiro of nova a bit, i would think. a nova with a lot more jagged edges. a nova if mandarin had remained the leader, perhaps. a nova who was thrust into the role of protector on her own, maybe. anyway.

i feel like she might be a bit condescending and such towards chiro??? because like as much as she misses him she a) doesn’t want him to break her heart again when he leaves and b) also sees him as a lot more naive and young than she used to. which i imagine would rile him up. so they actually end up fighting which is SO WEIRD for chiro. older jinmay remembers fighting with him as she got older/learned more about herself. but chiro??? has no clue??? what to do with this??? especially since jinmay isn’t pulling punches with him.

the monkey team she probably gets along better with. maybe antauri is still hanging around too so she has some fondness/sympathy for him.
