“Put the pies in the oven. The others should get the rest done on time.” She was about to say something else when her cell rang. Looking at who was calling she saw the one person she was dreading calling her but also ecstatic to talk to. She walked out of the kitchen and to the hall when she answered.

“Hola papa. How are you?” Robin said sweetly as Lukas followed her, but kept his distance.

Then the loud ramblings of Spanish cursing could be heard as Robin pulled her ear away from the phone.

“Papa I can explain.” Robin said sweetly.

Back in Madrid Spain, Toni felt frustrated. Robin was the only one of his many children that actually went out of their way to have a relationship with him. And now she was getting married and had yet to tell him which he only found out through the grapevine via Frances talking to a pissed of Arthur when he found out through Vlad who was told by Lukas that he was marrying Robin.

“You better have explain Robin. I am your father, I have a right to know that my little girl is getting married. And to that Norwegian! I thought you were going to marry Gilbert!” Spain roared over the phone as Robin walked to where there was some privacy and put him on speaker.

Robin sighed, “Look papa I have been busy all week and haven’t had time. And why are you always trying to get that Prussian and me together? Didn’t Gil tell you that he doesn’t see me as his type. He sees me as his friend and that is all.”

“NO!!! No one ever tells me anything. Hell it pisses me off that I had to find out the hard way that the damn Brit wanted you too!” Shouted Toni as Robin sighed more, she didn’t know that England was interested in her. Hell she was still pissed when his damn pig got into her garden and started eating her potatoes which caused the Pig War before she became a state.

“I don’t like Arthur like that papa. Ever since he let his stupid pig run loose. Hell that pig wrecked my garden and I had to get even as best as I could and eat that pig!” Snapped Robin back at her father.

Unknown to her both Lukas and Hilda heard everything. The thought of his close friend Arthur was seen as a rival now only made Lukas blood boil. He knew how the Brit was. If he didn’t get what he wanted he used black magic to get it. And that was worse than anything the Dane could do. As for Hilda, who was walking down stairs, the thought of human nations having parents or children for that matter was… weird.

As soon as Robin walked off to answer the phone, Lukas knew something was up. Antonio, her father, was completely unaware of their relationship; or so he thought. He was determined to keep it hidden for as long as he could, even if he knew he’d have to open up about it at some point, seeing as he didn’t have the best relationship with Toni.

Lukas cringed as he could hear Antonio’s yelling from where he was standing. Through the phone that wasn’t even on speaker. How fucking mad was Antonio about this...? The mention of Gilbert and Arthur, however, made him pause.

Upon hearing that Gilbert didn’t even like Robin in that way, Lukas decided to discard the thought of going after him. If he didn’t like her, then there was no need to get upset with him. It was Arthur, one of his closest friends, he was beginning to feel pissed at. Knowing Arthur’s past as a pirate, and that those mannerisms could still shine through these days, he immediately felt angry, even if Robin didn’t like him.

After very briefly racking through his mind, he came to the conclusion that yes, he ought to go after Arthur. Just once, he decided, to teach him a lesson. And if he persisted on going after Robin, then he would only grow increasingly worse to Arthur. Arthur could be very unpredictable, so he knew he had to be careful to protect Robin.

Hilda on the other hand had recently received a message from Sylvia, who invited her to come downstairs. It indeed took quite a bit of coaxing and prying on Sylvia’s part, but Hilda eventually agreed to make her way downstairs after a relatively refreshing nap. That, and she also knew herself too well-- if she didn’t get started at even trying to get closer to the rest, then she likely wouldn’t do so well at all in the future. Sylvia was the one who helped her realise that, but then again Sylvia was very persistent in her successful attempts to befriend Hilda.

During the time that Sylvia was trying to convince Hilda to head downstairs and join at least a smaller group, she’d decided to sniff through the estate’s wifi a little bit. When she noticed the phone call, she absolutely had to listen in on a few tidbits. Her boss, a personification, having parents...? How the hell did that work?

Upon seeing Sylvia waiting for her at the bottom of the staircase she felt a wave of relief instantly wash over her. Oh thank god, she was at least there to wait for her and help her get into this a little bit more. Even then, she was still quite stressed about this, and it showed. “Thank fuck you’re here,” she said quietly, peering over to where Robin’s voice was coming from. “What’s going on over there?” Maybe she knew more about the situation than Hilda did? It sounded most plausible. She stuck close to Sylvia, “...Why exactly did you call me back down here?”
