Out of the Water - Chapter V
Synopsis: You were very proud to be a mermaid, thank you very much. You didn’t want to be where the people were. Actually, you’d rather avoid it. Defending the merfolk was the biggest goal in your life… well, it was until you meet a certain pirate… it seems that your family really had a thing for humans, after all. Not that you’d ever admit it…
Pairing: Harry x reader
Word count: 4514
Part 5 of ?
Warnings: none? Possibly grammar mistakes? Also, some cuss words
A/N: English isn’t my first language, so I’ll probably mess up some tenses, grammar and stuff. Go easy on me, please. Feedback is always appreciated.
The sun was fading away in the horizon and soon it would be dark and, as you walked, you wondered why everything in this damned kingdom had to be so far away? Didn't they have magic carpets or something like that? Besides, since it was getting darker by the second, the sense of urgency was growing too. You had the feeling that Audrey was just playing with you - she obviously knew where you were, so why she didn't make a move yet? It was like a cat and mouse game and you were the mice heading towards a trap. Also, Mal having the Amber did not put your mind at ease since you didn't have the advantage.
You were literally entering to the lion's lair willingly.
"What happened between you and Hook?" You raised an eyebrow and Evie, who had come to talk to you, explained. "We heard the screaming. I know he can be difficult to deal with, but soon we'll all be in Auradon together".
Evie was way too good for this world, wasn't she? You didn't have the heart to contradict her or tell the atrocity the pirate had done to you.
"I know, sweetie. Don't worry, I'll try to be civil, even if the person in question is an utterly jerk who deserves a punch".
She sighed, looking almost disappointed. Obviously, you didn't give the answer she was hoping for but honestly, what was she expecting from you? Moreover, your response was nice enough, considering Harry was annoying and a water thief.
"That's a beginning, I suppose. But I think we can work on the aggressive attitude, though" she said with a shrug.
Oh, maybe you should have skipped the punching part... If she thought that was violent, you hoped she never found out that you almost chopped Harry's finger off, then.
As the time passed you grew impatient, it was already night and no one was in a chatty mood anymore. As for you, you've never wished for a day to end so fast and, on top of that, something else was bothering you and it was not the perspective of facing Psycho Audrey. Maybe it was the fact that once everything was over, Mal would let the kids off the Isle (it was what she had promised, after all). However, as much as you want to believe her, you had your doubts. Either way, nothing would ever be the same.
Finally, you arrived at Fairy Cottage and crossed the garden very quietly, trying not to draw attention to yourselves. When you finally got at the building, Ben burst the door open.
Great way to go unnoticed.
However, in the end, it didn't matter because Audrey wasn't there and your little journey had been a waste of time, thereby she was still on the loose and you had no one idea where she could be or what she was planning to do (but whatever it was, it would be unpleasant). Suddenly, the sound of a bustling knock filled the air startling everybody.  Ben followed the source of the disturbence and discovered a very scared Chad locked in the pantry.
The poor thing looked completely distressed and hysterical and, soon after, he mumbled some nonsense and rushed off without a second thought.
"Well, at least he is pretty" you said out loud. How Cinderela could have had such a foolish son was beyond your comprehension, but his golden locks made up for the lack of discernment.
Harry laughed and the clumsy encounter with Chad lifted everyone's spirit and, when you left the Cottage, there weren't Mal's gang or Uma's crew anymore, just friends trying to save the world. Even if you were all doomed; at least you'd end up things in good terms.
Yeah, that's what you naively thought.
Evie told Ben about Mal's promise and apparently Mal had had other plans that she didn't bother sharing with anyone: she was going to close the barrier for good. No more in, no more out.
Nothing serious or extreme.
No reason to freak out...
Holly shit!
You felt like a fool!
Just to think that you gave your word to Harry and Gil that Ben wouldn't do that! You were so mad that you couldn't even talk and it never happened before! Also, you didn't have the heart to face Uma, not after you said to her things were changing for the better. You knew how Uma pretended to be tough, but right now her spirit had been shattered...
Harry confronted Ben about the lie and you thought he'd lose his shit and gut someone, but he just looked completely broken, like someone had taken away his will to fight. Even though Harry and Uma knew pain and betrayal, they didn't expect this. They trusted the people of Auradon were different and they were let down.
Things weren't suppose to go this way! You wanted to do something! Anything! But what?
It was then that Celia took the amber from Mal's hand and threw it into the water. Well, if you were screwed before, now you were hopeless. At least it was for a good cause, if people in Auradon thought their lives were worthier than the life of the inhabitants of the Isle, let them rot. You couldn't even be mad at Uma for leaving since that was what you wanted to do too, but you knew there was nothing you could do to help her in this moment. Actually, you knew Uma well enough to know that going after her would only bother her.
The words Harry said to you earlier about Auradon's privilege echoed in your mind and you couldn't stay put anymore.
"I know this is not my place to say something. I mean, most of the time I'm not even here, I'm not a VK and closing the barrier doesn't affect my life... but it does. It does because there are people there, good people destined to live a dreadful life just because they were born on that Isle! People in Auradon have been living their perfect little lives where everything is pretty and colorful while we claim to be the good guys, but what we have done to the villains and their kids is atrocious! There will always be good and evil, that's how life works and we can't run away from it. Deciding which path to follow is what defines someone's true self, but in order to make this decision we need to have a chance. Mal, you of all people should know that, you had a chance and now that your life is good you want to deny those children the same opportunity? From this day on, every time you play 'happily ever after' with your prince charming, know that you are doing it at the expense of a child on that Isle"
You wish you had heard Mal's reply, but as soon as you finished talking, the world froze.
                                                     _______
Legend says that you were indeed the hottest stone statue in Auradon, but it didn't soothe you a bit. To say you were pissed was not nearly enough to express what you were feeling right now. If Audrey weren't already dying, you would have gladly killed her yourself. The only reason why you were still in the awful human world was Uma... this, and also because becoming stone had consumed all your energies and right now you were way too busy drinking a huge bottle of salted water to not die of dehydration.
Your grandfather would have to choose another diplomat because you were never ever setting foot on land again.
Maybe, if you weren't so angry, you would have choked on your drink when Mal told Hades was her father.
It explained a lot about her, though.
So, Hades, Mal's father, was the only one who could save Audrey and they were going to fetch him on the Isle to help the dying girl. Oh! The double standard! When a kid from Auradon curses everybody is "a mistake", but if someone from the Isle does that is "they are too dangerous, let's lock them up forever". Is it fair? No. Does anyone care? Also no.
You thought it couldn't get any worse, but boy, you were wrong. Uma just said she was going back to the Isle, which was pretty understandable and expected, but you had one itty-bitty tiny hope that she would stay.
Oh, on top of that, everyone accepted Mal and Ben's selfish decision to close the barrier. You scoffed under your breath, salted water wasn't enough to deal with all this, you needed something stronger, like vodka. The good thing was, since everyone was leaving and your cousins were safe, you had no more business in the human world and you took your cue from the VKs to announce your own departure too.
You waited for the limo alongside Uma, Harry, Gil and Celia, the atmosphere was tense, and you had seen happier people at funerals.
"I thought you were going back to Atlantica" the teal haired girl said, breaking the overwhelming silence.
"I'll go with you... until we reach the barrier, at least" your voice was more hoarse than you expected it to.
"Yeah, don't want to risk getting trapped, right?" If this was supposed to be a mean comment, Harry had failed; he just sounded sad, like everyone else. The pirate wasn't expecting an answer but you gave him one, anyway.
"I wouldn't mind going to the Isle, but there is no magic there and no magic means no legs for me, so you would be stuck with a mermaid... unless you don't care to carry me around..." you half-joked.
The car finally arrived and you got into it. It was nice that Ben sent the limo to pick up the VKs, and the guard's vehicle was going ahead, probably to go find Hades. There was all sorts of food in the limo, but no one touched them because all of you were way too lost in your own minds to be hungry. As you were approaching the Isle the unsettling feeling in your stomach grew worst and there was definitely something wrong with your eyes. Just before the car crossed the barrier, you asked the driver to stop. For one second, it seemed he would argue against it, but you gave him a warning look, since you weren't in the mood for more useless fights.
"Uma, can we talk outside for one second, please?" you asked.
You two got out of the car and, as soon as Uma closed the door, you hugged her.
"I'm sorry, Uma. I'm so sorry" the only thing you could do was to repeat how sorry you were, but you knew your apologies didn't change anything.
"I know" she reassured you, looking in your eyes "It's not your fault, you shouldn't be apologizing".
"Someone has to" you said, your felt so tight in your chest that hurt. Then, Uma smiled and hold your hand.
"Thanks for everything you've done for me. I don't know how I would have gone through the past months without you"
"You'd have done just fine, you're a fighter" it was now or never, you lowered your voice so even if someone in the car was paying attention to the conversation, they wouldn't hear you "You can still change your mind, let's go back to Atlantica and, before you interrupt me, Harry and Gil can come too. I have no idea how this is going to work but we'll figure it out" you offered her - you had to try.
"You know I can't abandon the Isle, speacially now" her eyes were full of sorrow, she knew exactly what meant to go back "Maybe you can swim near the barrier so we can see each other from time to time".
You knew she would say that, but it didn't mean it hurt any less.
"Definitely!" you tried to sound cheerful, but the words that left your mouth were robotic and fake "We'll see each other again".
This was a lie, even if you saw each other it would never be the same. The realization hit you hard and that weird feeling that you had in the car, finally made sense when streams of salt water started falling from your eyes.
"I'm leaking!" you freaked out "What is that?! I'm leaking!"
"You're crying, you idiot" she laughed, her eyes watering too.
"Nonsense, mermaids don..." before you could complete the sentence, Uma hugged you again, which made you start crying even harder.
No, not crying, leaking.
"I promise, Uma. I'll not stop fighting for the Isle. I'll talk to Mal, Ben or whoever I must to! They will change their minds, even if, in order to do so, I have to summon up the wrath of the ocean upon them".
You didn't know how long you two stayed crying in each others arms but a voice with a thick accent called both of you after a while.
"Are you ladies alright?" Harry asked. The pirate and Gil were standing there next to both of you. The dark haired boy had a hint of curiosity on his face but he knew better than to tease his captain.
You two pulled away from the hug, Uma looked slightly embarassed to get caught in such an emotional moment.
"I can't believe I'm leaking" you said while trying to wipe away the tears from your eyes; however, they insisted on falling down.
This was so awkward.
"You're not leaking, you're crying" Gil's brow furrowed "Don't you know what crying is?"
"Yes, I do... it's just I've never cried before..." you said between sobs.
"Wow, life in Auradon must be really perfect if people don't even cry here" for the firts time since you met him, he sounded sad. The boy was probably thinking about all the opportunities he would never have in Auradon because he was destined to live on the Isle forever.
They took away Gil's bright smile and you could not forgive that.
"It's not that... I live in the sea, tears don't fall when you are under water" you explained, finally calming down.
"Maybe the ocean is just a big pool of mermaid's tears." Gil said absently, eyeing the vast blue ocean in front of him and you couldn't help but hug the blonde boy too.
The Sea Bitch was such a softie.
"It was a pleasure to meet you, Gil. I wish we had more time to know each other better, but I know for sure that you're loyal, brave and gentle. I hope you are very happy. You deserve it".
You broke apart short after and Gil seemed very touched by your words.
"Thanks... that was one of nicest things that someone ever said to me" he offered you a shy smile "I wish you the same".
You looked at Harry, who looked back right into your eyes. You stared at each other until you hold out your hand, which he accepted. It was weird, Harry Hook has gotten on your nerves since the very first moment you met. He was smug, annoying and a little crazy, but at the same time he was very funny and fearless, qualities that you admired. You wanted to say something, but before you could open your mouth he let go of your hand.
That was it, then.
You also said goodbye to Celia and wished her the best. Then, the VKs got into the car again and, since Harry was the last one standing outside, you took the chance to ask him a favor.
"Please, take care of Uma"
His face broke into small smile and he nodded slightly.
You watched with a shattered heart the limo cross the barrier, taking away your friends from you forever.
There was nothing else you could do, so you jumped into the ocean and disappeared between the waves.
Not an hour ago all you wanted was to be back home, but now everything seemed pointless. For the last months Uma lived in Atlantica and going back without her gave you a knot in the stomach, things wouldn't be the same anymore without your friend there. The two of you used to spend hours plotting ways to get everyone off the Isle, finding a hole in the barrier or just talking about the future... and now you had nothing but crushed hopes. Of course you wouldn't give up, but you felt like you had moved backwards 10 spaces in the game, you fought for the merfolk on the Isle for so long and when it finally seemed that everything was going to be fine, it was a lie.
You were so absorbed in your thoughts that you didn't pay attention to where you were heading, which caused you to bump into your mother and younger brother.
"Where have you been"? Attina asked, her voice was somewhere between angry and concerned, but it was impossible to miss the vein popping out on her forehead "I was worried sick about you!"
"Sorry mom, I was in Auradon" you told her, knowing very well that this answer would only upset her more because there was no way she hadn't hear about Audrey and her little mishap.
"Auradon?!" The look of horror on her face made clear that she knew about what happened and wasn't happy about it. If humans thought you were hardcore, it was because they never talked to your mother "Do you know what Sleeping Beauty's daughter did?"
If you knew? You lived and survived it.
"I heard even Uma was there! Your grandfather was almost sending guards to look for you and your cousins! What happened?"
"Did you finally meet Uma, then?" your brother, Nereus, joined the conversation. He didn't know anything about Uma or that you two were friends. Also, he had no idea that he had talked to her many times when she was under the charm spell.
Then, your mother called by your full name, which never meant something good.
"You weren't there in hopes to befriend Ursula's daughter and bring all the merfolk from the Isle to Atlatica, were you?" Your mother knew you so well... and she wasn't happy.
"Of course not, mom..." I'm already friends with Uma, you added mentally.
Before she started complaining, you explained everything that happened that day (ok, almost everything, you definitely skipped some parts). Her disapproval face grew to the point her vein was ready to explode, while your brother gasped and cheered at the most exciting parts, as you told the story. Under other circumstances you would have narrated the events in a dramatic and majestic way, not sparing any single detail; however, it was way too painful to remember that was your first and last adventure with Uma and her crew.
"Will they close the barrier forever for real?" Nereus asked and, when you nodded, he offered you a sympathetic smile. He knew how much you fought for the merpeople on the Isle.
Your mother, on the other hand, had other things bothering her.
"So, you tell me that they let a bunch of kids fight against a delusional girl who held one of the most dangerous tools of dark magic in the kingdom? Where were Fairy Godmother, the Blue Fairy, the 3 Good Fairies? You can't trust fairies, that's what I always say to your grandfather! Where were Belle and the Beast? Any adults?!" as she talked, her voice got more and more high-pitched, until she was practically shouting.
"They were probably under Audrey's spell" you enlightned her, even knowing that it would not ease her mind one bit.
"That's an absurd! How can we trust our kids to go to Auradon Prep if they can't keep the security system of a museum working properly?!"
You and your brother exchanged looks. Although your mother had a valid point, you didn't want to hear any of it, which was odd, because you never missed the opportunity to roast the human world.
Claiming to be tired, you excused yourself and swam to your room and, as soon as you got there, you glanced at the spot where Uma would used to stay, knowing that you'd probably never talk to her again. You felt like someone was crushing your heart and if you weren't under the sea, tears would be rolling down your face. You lay on the bed, trying to stop thinking about Uma, the Isle and everything. It was a good thing that you were exhausted, so you soon fell into a dreamless sleep.
You weren't sure how much time had passed, but, suddenly, you were woken by someone knocking on your door. You cursed under your breath, who, in the seven seas, was disturbing you right now? Not even bothering to look up, you invited whoever was at your door to come in, you heard them entering and closing the door and, after a moment, you felt the weight of someone sitting on your bed.
They coughed and you recognized the deep voice that belonged to none other than your grandfather, King Triton.
"Grandpa!" you sat up quickly and hugged him.
"Hello, my dear" everyone feared your grandfather for he had quite a dauntless reputation (even you had to admit that he was frightening sometimes), also, his temper was known in all Auradon. However, when he looked at you with those gentle eyes, you forgot he was the King of the ocean, in these moments he was just your grandfather and you fell protected and loved near him.
"Oh grandpa, it was dreadful and I'm misarable" you hugged him again, hiding your face on his neck.
"Your mother told me what happened and that King Ben wants to close the barrier" his voice was so calm that it was difficult to imagine that when he was angry he could create storms and tsunamis.
"That's horrible. I feel so powerless and guilty! I know most of people think everyone in the Isle is evil but that's not true! They are kind and loyal and they don't deserve to be doomed to perish in that place! You should have seem their faces when Mal told them the program had been shut down" your grandfather wasn't know for his love for villains, everytime someone brought Ursula up he got riled up and changed the subject quickly, but you needed to speak out.
"And who are 'they' that you're talking about?" he asked, stroking you hair softly to confort you.
"You know... Celia, Gil, Harry... and Uma" you were nervous to talk about Uma with him. Actually, despite him knowing that you were in charge for her "search party" you have never discussed that you wanted to bring her to Atlantica, even more that you had brought her to the palace clandestinely and that she lived under his roof for months.
"Uma?" his voice was stern when he said your friend's name.
"Grandpa" you straightned up and looked him in the eye "I know it must be hard for you because Ursula caused great pain to our family but Uma has nothing to do with it, she is brave, smart and care so much about other people. She had the chance to stay in Auradon but she came back to the Isle because she couldn't abandon them! She might has taken some questionable decisions, but who hasn't? She was fighting for what she believed was right! Isn't it what you taught me?"
King Triton furrowed his brows; the wrinkles in his forehead were visible which could only mean he was deliberating something.
"You do seem to know a lot about her" he said after a while, his voice and face were severe and you swallowed... this conversation was taking a dangerous path.
"Well... I..."
Before you could finish the sentence, your grandfather cut you off.
"I know what you did"
You froze, he couldn't possibly be talking about Uma living in Atlantica. There was no way he knew that, if he had had any suspicion of what you did, he would have been beyond furious, so you tried to play cool.
"What are you talking about, grandpa?"
He raised an eyebrow and sighed.
"I know you brought Uma to live here in Atlantica"
And then you died.
The end.
Oh wait.
You weren't dead... but you were sure your grandfather just told you that he knew about Uma... Something was terribly wrong. He probably noticed your bulging eyes and horrified expression because he elucidated soon after.
"I raised seven daughters, my darling. I don't need my trident to see through a charm spell and a lie" it was weird, his voice was strangely serene and he looked slightly amused.
"But... how... like... why... Aren't you angry?" there weren't enough words to describe your shock right now.
"I learned to trust the people I love a long time ago, even when we don't agree on the subject." his tone was solemn and wise and it made you feel so small and pathetic because you knew you had disappointed him.
"I'm sorry, grandpa.... I'm sorry that I lied to you and that I disappointed you, but I'm not sorry for what I did" you didn't have the courage to look him in the eyes, but he lifted up your face and smiled.
"You didn't disappoint me. I trusted you enough to let you do what you thought was right, that was what I taught you. And considering everything I saw in the last months, I believe Uma is a good girl and I'm glad you're friends"
You returned his smile, not in your wildest dreams you thought your grandfather would understand this and it made you so glad how supportive and understanding he was about everything.
"I'm sorry for lying to you! I won't do it again" you promised him.
"You're young, you will" he laughed it off "But trust me when I say that I'll be by your side no matter what"
Everything should be perfect; however, there were a bitter feeling in your mouth and a knot in the pit of your stomach that you couldn't get rid of. In the end, it didn't matter if your grandfather trusted Uma or not, because she would be trapped on the Isle forever.
"So… I think I need your help" you bit your lip, uncertain of how to say it "We can't let them close the barrier for good, but I don't know what to do!"
"Don't worry, I promised I'll talk to King Ben about this. They can't just close the barrier like this without measuring the consequences" he reassured you "Now, rest, my darling. You had a long day"
He got up and swan towards your door, but before leaving he turned his head and said.
"Otherwise, you have my permission to summon up the wrath of the ocean upon them" he winked at you and left.
"Wait" you whispered to yourself "How does he even know?"
And then it hit you.
"SEBASTIAN!"

Beautiful to me
Pairing: Diaval x OC
Summary: Rhea is a daughter of a lumberjack living near the Moors, a forest which everybody fears. It is no wonder that she became Aurora's first best friend.
Warnings: body insecurities
A/N: As I've said, I've never seen the whole movie, but Diaval is such a sweetheart and...well, this happened. So I'm sorry that this maybe won't go as the movie does, for example, I couldn't find a clip on youtube about how Aurora first got to the Moors, so I changed it.

Everybody feared the Moors, because they believed that a great evil lived behind the great wall of thorns.
Only one family was brave enough to live near the place. It was a lumberjack and his wife. They have never been afraid of the strange part of the forest. Everyone deemed them crazy when they answered their curious questions with: "There is no need to be afraid. If you'll respect the forest, it'll leave you alone."
When news spread that the lumberjack's wife was with a child, people were baffled to hear that they aren't moving from their cozy little cottage near the dangerous Moors.
And after nine months, a baby girl was born. Her loving parents named her Rhea. She had black hair, like her mother and beautiful green eyes like her father.
Rhea was a curious, happy go lucky child. Taught from early age to respect those around her and do no harm until she was the one harmed, she grew into a kind young girl. Her parents treated her with love and kindness and so she didn't see a reason to ever disobey them.
One day, Rhea was walking by the edge of the forest, which grounds she knew better than the back of her hand. The 'normal' part of the forest, the one where her father worked, was surrounded by meadows full of flowers and beautiful little creatures.
She listened to birds chirping and bees buzzing as she skipped along the secret path she found for herself, her little hands gently caressing flower petals of all colours.
Rhea heard a laugh. It wasn't her laugh, but it was a child's laugh. It sounded like a little girl. Rhea looked all around her, trying to see who exactly was laughing, but couldn't see anyone. That is, until the tall grass started shaking, little giggles escaping between the rustling.
Rhea kneeled on the ground and pushed the grass aside, so she could see better.
At first, she thought she's seeing things. But at a second glance she recognized the creature she mistaked for a fairy as a young girl. But what a beautiful little girl!
She was a few years younger than Rhea, but too young to be left alone. The little girl hasn't noticed her yet, so Rhea softly called out "What are you doing here little one?"
The little girl gasped and turned to face Rhea. It took little to no time for a big grin to take over her face "Pretty girl!" she squealed.
Rhea blushed. Nobody, aside from her parents, had called her pretty. She never really felt pretty and thought that her parents told her that just because they were her parents. But there was something about this girl that looked so sincere. Maybe it was how her eyes shone brightly or her big smile.
It didn't look like the girl wanted to wait for Rhea, her attention was grabbed by something else. As she waddled away, Rhea called out to her "What's your name little one?" and ran after her.
The girl stopped to examine a catterpillar crawling on a leaf and when Rhea caught up with her, she repeated her question. "Aurora." the girl said without turning her head. Rhea thought it was a really strange name.
The rest of the afternoon Rhea spent by Aurora's side. The younger girl hopped around, fascinated by every little thing. Rhea patiently walked behind her, looking after Aurora, so she wouldn't hurt herself. She wondered why was she alone? Did her parents not care for her? How could they?? She was such a sweet little thing.
"Pretty flower!" Aurora exclaimed happily, plucking the flower from the ground and twirling it between her little fingers. This caught Rhea's attention. Everything Aurora saw she called pretty. Pretty flowers, pretty bees, pretty clouds...
Rhea felt a little sad at the thought that for Aurora 'pretty' didn't mean anything special. But she quickly chased the thought away. Why should she be sad about such a trivial thing as beauty? They were in the forest, she didn't need to be beautiful! Wait, the forest..?
Without her noticing, Aurora led her straight through the forest to the thorn wall. She looked at the big branches with even bigger thorns in awe. Strangely, she didn't go to feel it with her tiny hands.
For the first time in the whole day, Aurora turned to Rhea, pointed at the barricade and said "Pretty bush!"
Rhea couldn't help but smile. Pretty really wasn't a meaningfull word for the little girl. "It sure is magical, isn't it?" Rhea came to stand by Aurora's side.
Flapping of wings and cawing could be heard and both girls turned to look at the tree where the noise was coming from. It was just a raven.
There was something strange about the way it looked at Rhea. Almost suspiciously...
"Pretty bird!" Aurora said laughing, clapping her tiny hands. Rhea smiled at the little girl. It's just a bird, there's nothing to worry about.
Rhea grabbed Aurora's hand, gaining the girl's attention. She crouched down next to her and pointed at the raven "That's a raven. You mustn't mix ravens up with crows. They may seem similar, but they are different none the less."
The bird's eyes softened and it cawed happily. It caused Aurora to laugh in a childish glee and Rhea tried to mimick him. The raven turned its head to the side a little, amused by the girl's attempts to make the younger one laugh. So it played along, Rhea and the raven cawing at each other, just so Aurora would laugh.
After that, everywhere they went, the raven was with them. And every time Aurora set her gaze on it, she immediately called out excitedly "Pretty bird!" And so, the name stuck.
The years flew by and the girls became best friends. Some would even say they were as close as sisters.
Every day they would spend the whole day together, Rhea usually teaching Aurora about nature and in return, the younger girl invented the best adventures, while Pretty bird, who Rhea always brought treats for, watched over them.
They both grew into beautiful young women. Aurora was just as lovely as she was when she was a child, if not more. She had the beauty of a fairy and the heart of a playful bunny. Rhea matured and grew into the kindest and most generous woman far and wide from the Moors.
Rhea admired Aurora's beauty, as if she couldn't see her own. And it was true. While she thought everything around her was beautiful, she 'could never compare' as she'd say.
One day, which Rhea was going to remember in great detail long after, they stayed outside longer than usual, the sky was getting dark and night was slowly falling upon the land. But they didn't care and kept on walking by the thorn wall.
"I wonder if you can get through it somehow..." Aurora wondered, gently petting the bush, careful as to not cut herself. Rhea turned to look at the wall and just silently nodded her head.
Maleficent was, like many times before, looking after Aurora. She watched the two girls chat and wondered how much the girls have grown. If she wants to see the Moors so bad...I can grant her that wish. Maleficent thought to herself and with a quiet chuckle put a spell over the two girls that put them to sleep.
She cleared out a path for herself that went through the giant thorn bush and carefully levitated both girls behind her as she entered her kingdom.
Next, she gently laid them on the ground and hid in the shadows and crooked tree branches and undone the spell. Now I just wait until they wake up...
The spell wore off pretty quickly. The first one to sit up was Aurora, while Rhea tiredly blinked her eyes. "Rhea, do you see that?" Aurora asked in disbelief, standing up. "No." Rhea croaked tiredly "What should I see?" she slowly sat up and looked around.
"We're in the Moors!" the younger girl exclaimed happily, giggling. Aurora twirled in place, taking everything in with fascination. Rhea rubbed the sleep from her eyes and joined her best friend.
Curious eyes looked at them from behind the rocks and tree leaves. Blue heads poked out from their hiding spots and tiny blue creatures slowly and cautiously floated to the two strangers. Both girls slowly extended their palms and let the fairies touch their fingers. Before they could properly introduce themselves, the fairies looked around in panic and fright and quickly scurried off to hide again.
Aurora felt presence behind them and turned to face the shadows. Nothing but a pair of yellow eyes could be seen in the darkness. "We know you're there. Don't be scared." Rhea came to stand by her side and took her hand.
"I'm not scared." it chuckled darkly. Rhea noticed its voice was smooth, cold and rich.
"Then come out." Aurora prompted the voice again.
"Then you'll be afraid." it said again. It sounded like it was making fun of them.
"No we won't." Aurora defended them bravely, her cheecks puffing out a little.
It seemed like the voice complied. The pair of glowing yellow eyes moved from the shadows. It had the moon behind its back, so only a silhouette could be seen.
Aurora gasped softly at the sight of the big horns and Rhea stepped protectively a little in front of her.
Maleficent then stepped into the light completely. Instead of screams of fear that she expected, Rhea's breath was stolen away by the fae's broken, dark beauty and Aurora just laughed.
"I know who you are." she said with a smile "You're my fairy godmother!" Rhea was used to Aurora telling her about the shadow that looks after her. But she, as beautiful as she was, didn't look like a protector. More like a predator.
"What?" Maleficent asked, clearly thrown off by this comment. "Your shadow. It's been following me everywhere I went." Aurora's smile didn't falter.
A raven landed on a branch next to its mistress. Both girls turned their heads to look at it. "I remember you." Aurora said and with Rhea they both giggled. "Pretty bird." Rhea said and the raven turned its head to the side. "This is Diaval." Maleficent said, not even looking at him, waving her hand, after the raven bowed politely to the girls.
And suddenly, their Pretty bird was now a man. A very handsome, young man, Rhea observed. His hair and eyes dark like the night around them, black tunic, that showed off his chest, as well as black trousers and black boots. On his temples, his neck and the exposed parts of his chest were scars, from what Rhea would love to know.
Diaval went to closer to Aurora "It's nice to finally meet you." and kissed her hand gently "I knew you since you were a little one." Rhea quietly snickered to herself. What a strange thing to say.
But then he turned to her and she found herself lost in his eyes. Apart from his scars his face looked really smooth. Just like his feathers looked smooth when he was a raven. "My my, what a beauty you've grown into." he said and kissed her hand too, while looking her directly in the eyes. Rhea felt like she couldn't breathe. His skin felt so smooth where he touched her but his voice was so deliciously scruffy, she couldn't wrap her head around it all. "This must be a dream." she said quietly and Diaval grinned, still not letting go of her hand, but neither of them noticed.
"I know right?" Aurora squealed excitedly. She started ranting about how beautiful the Moors were, overwhelming Maleficent so much, that she had to put her to sleep again.
When Rhea saw her floating friend, she wondered So that's how we got here, huh... "I think that is enough for today." Maleficent stated "Diaval, take Rhea home."
A small mutter of 'yes mistress' could be heard from him and as he went to lightly bow to her he realized he was still holding Rhea's hand. He immediately let go, embarassed and showed her the way.
He insisted to take her all the way to her cottage and held her hand every time there was any obstacle in the way, small and large ones. "We're in a forest. If you want to be gentlemanly like that, you can just hold my hand and not let go." Rhea giggled, but Diaval took it seriously and, deciding it would be a good idea, grabbed her hand, making her cheeks turn pink.
Days went by and they were all spent in the Moors. Aurora played with all the fairies, often including Rhea or even Diaval. Maleficent usually stood on the sidelines and watched them. Rhea noticed the fondness in the fae's eyes and sometimes she'd catch a glimpse of the tiniest smile.
If they were not playing with Aurora, Diaval and Rhea also stood on the sidelines, chatting and finding out more things about the other every day. Aurora and even Maleficent noticed how close they became.
It was a beautiful night. The stars shone brightly, the moon was big, nowhere a cloud in sight and the temperature was just right. Perfect for stargazing.
Rhea needed time to herself. Her mind felt heavy, burdened with negative thoughts and doubts.
"Why are you frowning at the stars?" a voice above her asked. Rhea smiled a faint smile "Hello Pretty bird." "Why do you keep calling me that even when you know my name?" "Because you are a pretty bird." she shrugged. "I suppose you're right." Diaval said proudly and laid next to her, their shoulders and hands touching.
He could see something was troubling her and he wanted to help. He never liked seeing her sad. It made his heart clench. When it first happened, Rhea found a dead baby bird, fallen out of the nest. He thought he was deathly ill and came to Maleficent immediately, panicked. She just stared at him and whispered something strange "You're in love."
She left abruptly, not saying anything else. He wasn't mad. After he processed the words, he realized she probably needed time to ponder if she is going to do something about it or not. He could see how conflicted her thoughts on love were as of late.
He came to terms with it a few days ago. Those days leading to this one were spent consciously pining after her.
"Just...my parents." Rhea started slowly. But he didn't mind, he would listen to her patiently for years if it meant helping her. "They told me I should start looking for a nice man, since I'm the right age for marriage right now."
He swallowed hardly. Was she in love already? What if it wasn't him? What would he do if it wasn't him? "And what seems to be the problem?" he forced out of himself, as if he didn't even want to know the answer.
"I don't know anyone!" she cried out. It wasn't entirely true though. Her heart already picked a certain raven someone, but her insecurities blinded her so much she didn't even consider him liking her back as an option.
"I'd have to go out and impress someone and...to be honest, who in the world would be impressed by me." the last word harboured so much disgust in it, it made Diaval frown deeply.
"What do you mean?" he asked, genuinely confused. Rhea sighed sadly "Look at me. Look at everything else around us. How can I compare to the beauty that is this world? How can I impress someone when I'm just...so...ugly."
Oh no. She didn't. No, no, no, no, he wasn't going to let her talk about herself that way.
Diaval gently grasped her chin and made her look at him "Listen here Rhea and listen closely. You can't compare to anything? For me It's more like nothing can compare to you, because you're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Prettier than any flower, star or even the moon itself. You are better than flying, everything about you is so otherworldly I can't put it into words."
His voice lowered to nearly a whisper "You don't have to impress or catch anyone's attention. You already have. I'm afraid, Rhea, that you've captured my heart. I don't know if I'll be a good enough suitor for you, but I will try my best...if you'll have me?" his eyes filled with hope met hers filled with tears.
She couldn't get the right words out, she just nodded her head and hugged him tightly.
And as they laid there in a tight embrace, under the starry night, she whispered to him "I wouldn't have anyone else."

Cherry Blossoms. (Ch.15)
Chapter 15
WARNING- Smut ahead.
“What???why???”, I was puzzled. Baekhyun knew I wasn’t up for a trip right now and now he just decided on his own that I would love a trip?
“I thought..”
“Sunbae. Can you understand that I am feeling terribly homesick? I would love to meet your grandmother, but not now! You could have asked me before you made such a decision right?”, I was furious, and he, was hurt.
“This was a surprise. I wanted to make you feel better. Can’t you trust me for once?”
“I do trust you.. but..”
“Stop. Coffee. This is your problem. You say you never had a meaningful relationship, but the truth is, you push the people who want to be with you, away! You isolate yourself and make yourself stiff. Everything that you think isn’t really right. You’re going to get on the car right now. I don’t want to hear a word.”, He turned to walk to the car.
“Get in, Coffee.”, He said as he opened the door.
Baekhyun seemed different. Very unlike the happy, playful Baekhyun he usually showed everyone. At times he’d be soft and emotional, and that side of him was reserved just for me. Now, this. He was stern, brows furrowed. I didn’t know how to fight him.
I walked in silence towards him. I sat beside Hye Jin, and Baekhyun himself sat in front with Chanyeol. The air inside was grim and heavy. I rolled down the window a little, at which Hye Jin winced.
“You’ll catch a cold, y/n.”, Kyungsoo whispered from behind. His remark made Baekhyun turn around. He looked at me, his eyes still dark.
“Why did you open the window?”, he questioned.
I didn’t answer him.
“Soo, hand her my jacket from the backseat.” he said before turning his eyes back to the road.
Kyungsoo nudged me with the jacket, which I accepted hesitantly.
“Pull up the hoodie over your head.”, Baekhyun’s voice ringing in the car. The jacket smelled like him, oddly calming me down. Comfortable and warm, I realised something crucial, Baekhyun was home. It might seem cheesy, but it was true.
Watching the houses swoosh by, my wind wandered. Was he right? Did I really not give the other person a chance to show their feelings and then complain that they loved me less? I glanced at Baekhyun, who sat diagonally across me. Occasionally looking at Google maps and whispering the directions for Chanyeol who was driving, he’d look at me from the corner of his eye, trying to be less obvious.
As much as I hated to admit, the soft cool breeze, Kyungsoo’s soft humming of a tune, drew slumber’s sweet kisses upon me and I soon fell asleep.
When I woke up, I heard giggles, music and at times Chanyeol’s boisterous laugh. My head was on Hye Jin’s shoulder, her hand on my shoulder.
“Hey, you.”, Baekhyun whispered into my ear when I began twisting.
I was sure I was sitting beside Hye Jin….
“Yeah. I changed seats. You fell asleep.”, Answered reading my thoughts.
He was so warm. I moved closer to him wrapping my arms around his waist, face buried in his shoulder.
“I’m sorry sunbae.”, my voice smaller than usual.
“Coffee. You don’t have to apologize for something so trivial.”, He kissed my head.
“Ugh. Get a room.”, Chanyeol muttered.
“Thanks Chan.”, Baekhyun retorted.
“The main guest of the day is awake everybody!”, Chen screamed out.
To this everyone cheered and clapped, except Kyungsoo, who simply smiled gleefully.
“Are you okay?”, Baekhyun asked again.
“Yes.”, I murmured, hugging him again. He hugged me back, his arms enveloping me.
The trip really was fun. The boys kept singing weird songs in funny voices, teasing Kyungsoo until he raised his voice, and telling me some embarrassing stories about Baekhyun.
“….. You should have seen y/n! He was trying to create the disco ball vibe, by pressing the light switch, as he twisted his head around!!”, Chen chuckled.
“Yah! Yah! That was way back! Why do you have to tell her that story! You wait, I’m going to rip off your pants when you get a girlfriend!”, Baekhyun forewarned smiling.
It was dark by the time we reached our destination. The place was surrounded by mountains, and not much of a concrete jungle either.
Chanyeol pulled up in front of a small old cottage with a wide yard in front. A narrow dusty path leading up to the cottage surrounded with a grassy patches on both sides, the house looked like it dropped from a fairy tale.
We stepped out of the car, everyone stretching from the exhausting drive, when a dog ran out from the house, barking with excitement and wagging it’s tail furiously at Baekhyun.
“Hey buddy!!!! Miss me much?”, Baekhyun greeted it with the brightest smile, bending to pick it up in his arms, favouring with kisses.
Miffy, who I was carrying in a little cage, mewed scared at the arrival of a dog in our midst.
“Hyun-ah. Is it you?”, An old woman’s voice was heard from within.
A tiny little lady stumbled out and Baekhyun ran to hug her. It was so evident that he loved her with all his heart and he seemed his grandmother’s favourite. She kissed his cheeks and complained how thin he grew after he went to that hell-ish place.
“Gran, I workout! I have muscles, see. Touch here.”, He explained, while stretching out his arms and flexing them for her.
“What muscles? How will you survive without food? Your eyes are sunken deep into your brain…”
“Yeah granny, we get your concern, the guy has such small eyes to begin with and now they’re diving deep into his head….”, Chen continued.
Baekhyun mumbled something in Korean at him, which I’m sure was far from being a compliment.
His grandmother knew the boys well. Only Yonghwa, Hye Jin and I stood quietly after greeting her, when Baekhyun took to introducing us.
“And, Gran, this is Y/N, she’s … um.. my girlfriend.”, Baekhyun nervously told his grandmother.
His grandmother scanned me first and then a soft, kind smile broke through her face.
“Hello dear. She looks cute Hyun ah. But why do you look so tired? Was it the journey?”, She asked, concern evident in her eyes.
“She missed her family, so she was crying.”, Chanyeol blurted, before I could say anything.
“Aigoo. Really? Come dear. I’ll feed you. Why would you feel sad? Good Baekhyun brought you here. Don’t feel sad, I’m here. Whenever you feel low, come to me. Spend the weekend here and then you’ll feel better.”, She said, dragging me into the house.
Baekhyun’s grandmother was a really spirited woman. She quickly hopped into the kitchen and set up the table while Baekhyun showed the others into rooms upstairs and fed Miffy. We later, sat around the table, his dog at our feet, playing with his legs while hands scattered around the table sharing and passing food, as everyone ate to their fill. His grandmother cooked very well and everything was extremely tasty, she’d occasionally ask me if I was eating well.
After dinner, I offered to clean up, and Hye Jin joined to help.
“Thank you for the meal, it was really delicious.”, I told her, while wiping a plate clean.
“Oh you’re being modest. I could have done better, but Baekhyun suddenly called this morning to say he was coming that I couldn’t do much.”
“You did a lot, Grandma. We’re all so full.”, Hye Jin added.
“You’re full with just that? You kids, eat too little.”, She laughed.
Hye Jin washed the dishes and left to play with the dog, when she said, “it’s been really long since Baekhyun brought a girl home. Last time was three years ago. You must have stolen his heart.”
Blushing, I answered, “It was nothing. He’s a really nice person. Anyone would fall for him.”
“Anyone would.”, She nodded, “honestly, I didn’t like the girl he brought with him the last time. Her smile was too fake. But I never told him anything. He wouldn’t listen to me then. He was blindly in love.”
“Oh.”, I never had asked Baekhyun about his past love life, thinking that it would make him uncomfortable, but now I was curious.
“You don’t know about her, do you?”
“No.”, I smiled slightly.
“She was mean. She broke my hyunnie’s heart. He was weaker then. Just a kid. She used him and then left him without a word. Baekhyun didn’t talk to us for weeks after that. His grades dropped, he drank too much and completely wasted his life away. I went to Seoul to bring him home for a week. Away from that place, he healed, but somehow his eyes lost the innocence he had before. But again, that’s how life is, evil.”, She sighed and continued, “I hope you won't…”
“Sunbae is a really nice person, I would never..”
“Coffee??”, Baekhyun called from outside. I ran out to meet him. He had his dog in one hand and waved at me furiously from afar.
“Sunbae.”, I sang happily, hopping towards him.
“Waah, yah, you seem so excited now. Did my grandma work her magic?”, He said cheekily, handing me a jacket and holding my hand.
“Where are we going?”I inquired excitement dripping from my tone.
“A special place.”, He brought our intertwined hands close to his lips and kissed my hand.
I gasped at his touch. This man still had the weirdest reactions on me.
“Sunbae, it’s so late though. We could go in the morning.”
“I’ve practically lived here my entire life, coffee. I know this place like the back of my hand.”
We reached a small pond in front of which was a huge rock. He climbed up, held out his hand and pulled me up.
“Sit.”
There was just enough place for the two of us. The moon shone through the trees when there was a slight breeze, making the water in the pond glisten.
“It’s so beautiful.”, I sighed.
“Yeah.”, Baekhyun nodded, looking at me quietly.
“Your grandma is a very nice person. Thank you for bringing me here.”, I put my head on his shoulder.
“I told you. What about Mongryong?”
“Who?”
“My dog!”
“Oddly, it even looks like you, sunbae.”
“I know! People tell me that all the time.”
Baekhyun was the light, I thought I never needed. Everything that he was, he was an inseparable part of me. He caught me looking at him and bent forward towards my lips.
“Are you thinking of kissing me now?”, He smirked.
“How can you be so cocky all the time? Don’t you get tired?”, I voiced, punching his arm.
“Ahh!!! Ahhh!”, He screamed in pain, dramatically. Well, obviously.
“Sunbae!”, I shushed him, holding his hand.
He kissed me suddenly, one hand holding my face gently, another around my waist. His hands slowly inched upwards from my waist, grazing my sides, up my arms. His mouth leaving my lips, trailing down my jaw, sucking on the base on my neck where he knew i was a sensitive.
My hands traced his chest, and found my way up to his fluffy hair, where I tugged as he continued kissing my neck, moving lower to my collarbones.
His hands were both on my back now, just below my breasts, when he looked  into my eyes.
“Coffee, can i ask you…?”, His eyes pleading. “Can I…?”, His voice trailed off.
“Can I what?”, I asked.
He kissed me again and whispered, “Nothing.”
“Wait, what is it?”, I asked, concerned.
“Nothing! Seriously. I just lost my mind for a second.”
“Fine. Tell me what you lost it over.”
“Coffee. Let it go.”
“No. Sunbae! Tell me!”
“No. Babe. Please. It’s nothing.”, He shook his head.
“It’s definitely something, that’s why you aren’t telling me.”, I muttered.
“Fine. It’s just that… I’m a guy. I… I mean.. you’re my girlfriend.. so.. um. You know what, I can’t explain. It’s weird.”
I kind of got the drift Baekhyun was following. But, did he really want to do something like that, here? In the middle of the woods? I decided to talk to Hye Jin about it later.
“Let’s walk back coffee. You’ll need to rest.”, Baekhyun said jumping down the rock first.
He held my hand again, as we walked back to the cottage. He didn’t look at me once, except sometimes when he caught my stare on him. Something was wrong.
“Hye Jin! Hye Jin!”, I called out as soon as I entered the room after Baekhyun and I made out before he left me for the night.
“What bitch. Where were you?”, Hye Jin looked up from painting her toenails.
I narrated the whole incident to her in detail.
“Wait. Where were his hands?”, Hye Jin’s detective cap was on.
“Here. On my waist.”
“Why are they always on your waist whenever you tell me something like this?”
“What?”
“Y/N, does he ever touch you? Anywhere apart from the waist?”
Baekhyun and I often made out, but he always held my waist.
“Where did he kiss you?”, Hye Jin continued.
“Lips… shoulders..”
“You guys are really dating for more than six months right?”, She sarcastically wondered.
“Why?”
“Doesn’t he touch anywhere else? Or kiss anywhere else?”
“No….”
“OMG. Why?”
“I don’t know!!! He should know!”, I whined.
“There is something. Ask him tomorrow.”
“What? Ho..how do you want me to ask him that? That’d be so creepy and perverted!”, I objected.
“Well. It’s something. I’ll create the setting for you to ask.”, She said lost in thought, “and you.”, Turning to look at me, she continued, “will ask.”
The next morning was chaotic. Yeah, that’s the only way I could have explained it. Grandma had us working out on the field and everyone was happy to help. Baekhyun behaved normally as he would. It’s as though last night hadn’t taken place at all. So much that I almost dropped the idea of asking him anything.
“No!”, Hye Jin shook her head furiously. “We’re fixing this.”
“There’s nothing to fix!”
“Yes there is! I’m saving your love life, honey.”, She breathed, walking away.
By the time we gathered around to have lunch, everyone was exhausted. Chen and Chanyeol dozed off after awhile, Hye Jin was giving Yong a haircut, and Kyungsoo, Baekhyun and I sat in front of the TV, mindlessly flipping through channels. Baekhyun and I sat on the sofa, Kyungsoo on the rug on the floor settling to watch songs.
Chanyeol woke up from his nap soon. Rubbing his eyes he stood near the stairs watching the dead souls, that we were.
“Hey!”, His voice loud enough to make us jump.
“Let’s have some fun.”, he groggily sat beside Baekhyun.
“Soju and chicken anyone?”, Baekhyun asked.
“YEAH!”, Everyone said in unison.
“Alright.”, He said, getting up, only to turn to me, “Should I get something else for you, Coffee?”
“No.”, Hye Jin sharply interjected. “She’ll drink with us tonight.”
Baekhyun confused, looked from her to me. What was she planning?
“Are you sure, Coffee?”
“Err…. Yeah. I suppose.”, I nodded reluctantly.
“Don’t worry. I’ll make sure you drink safe.”, Baekhyun smiled as he ruffled my hair.
I eyed Hye Jin as soon as Baekhyun left. She gestured, asking me to relax. Honestly, that made me more on edge.
The delivery service took a long time and it was almost dark before we settled down in boy’s bedroom as it was the biggest. I had never seen so many bottles of Soju before. Each of us holding a bottle, me, holding a glass, in which ,much to Hye Jin’s dismay, I had Soju and cola mixed. Baekhyun had insisted that I do, and Hye Jin couldn’t coax him any other way.
“Bottoms up?”, Chanyeol seemed giddy already.
Most of them tried to drink it up, failing, obviously. Baekhyun, being he, kept a check on me and refrained anyone from refilling my cup. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, or maybe because Baekhyun had diluted the drink enough that I couldn’t taste the bitterness.
“Let’s play spin the bottle!”, Hye Jin screamed after she finished her first bottle.
“Yes! Brilliant idea!”, Chen supported.
“What is the game?”, Kyungsoo inquired.
“You spin the bottle and then you have to kiss the person it points to.”, Hye Jin squealed.
“What kind of a shit game is that?”, Yong and Baekhyun said in unison.
“Sunbae, let’s play! It’ll be fun.”, I insisted.
Baekhyun looked shocked. Honestly, I was shocked too, but I really wanted to play the game.
“Coffee—–”
“Sunbae, why don’t you want to play? It’s a good game.”
“Because…”, he stopped mid way, and pressed his lips into a tight line, expressing his disapproval.
“Okay. Guys. Let’s not. We have just two girls. Both, unfortunately taken…”, Baekhyun snapped his head towards Chanyeol, when he said ‘unfortunately’ , “so let’s do something else instead of kissing. Maybe give out a dare or ask a question.”
“That’s truth or dare.”, Hye Jin blankly stated.
“….well, yes. It’s better for the friendships within this group, Hye Jin. Please, understand. Plus, what if a guy has to kiss a guy? That’s gross….!” Chanyeol shuddered.
We began playing the game, Baekhyun downed another bottle by then, he seemed a little annoyed with me. I, on the other  hand, felt oddly happy. I wanted Baekhyun. I suddenly missed him, even though he was right here. The game went on, everyone having fun. I had finished my bottle and felt immensely proud. Tugging at his shirt, I sat close to him.
“Sunbae…”, I cooed.
“What, coffee, are you ill?”, His voice concerned.
“I want to talk to you, alone.”
“But babe, they’re playing games…”
The bottle pointed at Baekhyun just then.
“Ah ha! Finally! Baekhyun! Truth or dare?”, Chen grinned.
“Truth.”, Baekhyun confidently answered.
“Such a wuss.”, Chanyeol snorted.
Baekhyun was about to retort, but Kyungsoo cut him off, “Chanyeol, hold on. If he chose a truth, we’ll ask him a truth. Baekhyun, how far did you go with Y/N?”
Baekhyun’s eyes zeroed on Kyungsoo. “Soo! What kind of question is that?”
“We’ve only kissed.”, I sadly hung my head.
“What? Baekhyun?”, Kyungsoo was appalled.
“The playboy Baekhyun has just kissed his girlfriend? That’s new.”, Chanyeol smirked.
“Can you guys not? What does my relationship have anything to do with my past?”
“Baekhyun, we share a wall. You remember that right?”, Chanyeol said smugly.
What was it? Did he not find me attractive? Maybe his past girlfriends were really hot. It made me sad. I excused myself to get some water. No one was downstairs, I guess grandma had gone to visit her neighbours.
Mongryong bounced excitedly when he saw me come down the stairs. I sat down and he played with me. Baekhyun sat beside me silently.
“Coffee?”
“Sunbae, are you not attracted to me? You can tell me. I can understand…”
“Will you let me talk?”
“You’ve never even touched me properly.”
“Cofffeeeee! Please, before you go further, will you let me explain?”
When I didn’t answer, he continued.
“I’m scared…. You.. you’re different. First, I feel like you’ll slap me. I mean, I don’t know how to explain this. You’ve never given me the sign that you’d want me to, you know, do more. And, I was afraid you’d break up with me thinking i was a pervert or something. And don’t get me wrong baby, I love when we do casual stuff. I love listening to you talk so passionately about your books and I like to tell you about everything because you listen. I never wanted to rush into anything with you… except maybe yesterday. It’s just that at times, I get this overwhelming feeling to hold you close to me. You’re important to me, coffee, and I respect you. So…”, he looked deep into my eyes.
“ Why were you scared?”, I mumbled as I petted the dog, “you could have told me this before.”
“Tell you? Tell you what? I’d be the biggest jerk if I did.”
“Okay. Well, now that you know I don’t mind….”
A smile broke across his face. Taking my hand, he pressed his lips to the back of my hand softly.
“Ask Hye Jin to spend the night with Yonghwa. Tonight, you’re mine.”
I was high. I could feel it. Maybe it the alcohol, maybe it was Baekhyun’s words, I have no clue.
We went back upstairs, to find Chen and Chanyeol passed out on the floor. Baekhyun whispered something to Kyungsoo, to which he nodded. Hye Jin and Yong were to sleep in our room. We, on the other hand, would sleep in Baekhyun’s old room.
His room was super cute, not too big, but was comparatively colder. To imagine a young Baekhyun reading comics, playing Nintendo, and sleeping with Mongryong made me smile. He had a huge stack of game CDs, and Mangas.
“Those are dusty.”, Baekhyun whispered as he hugged me from behind.
“You have so many.”
“Obviously coffee. It’s partly the reason why I took up this major. I want to build an amazing game later on. Actually I did create one, I’ll show it to you later.”
“It’s cold here.”, I turned to face him, my arms around his neck.
“The window is open.”, He breathed.
He quickly let go of my waist and closed the windows. There were plenty of his pictures around, he and his friends, Baekhyun, being the dorkiest of them all.
“Ah these. Are so embarrassing.”
“I love them. You were fun back then too.”
“Honestly not to boast, I was the life of my group. We had a small band you know? We performed during school gatherings.”
“Born to be on the stage, Sunbae?”
“That’s one thing I can’t let go, coffee. My music. It’s my Life. Of Course, you’re added in the list now.”
“I love you” I whispered, hugging him.
He chuckled, and kissed my head. “I love you more.”
I looked up to see his face. He brushed my lips with his thumb softly, bending to kiss me.
The moment our lips touched, my body shivered from the sensation that passed through me instantly. His hands were in my hair, holding me as he deepened the kiss. I felt his tongue sweep across my bottom lip, urging me for access. He backed to the bed, never leaving my lips. Sitting down on the edge, he made me sit on his lap. His hands held my hips, supporting me, as I kissed him again, my arms around his neck. Once on his lap, his hands explored my back, his tongue darting in and out of my mouth. He laid me down on the bed after that, slowly, our lips never losing contact. Baekhyun was now hovering on top of me. Supporting his weight with his arms. There was an urgency in his moves. He moved from my lips and kissed my jawline, leaving kisses on my ears, making his way to my neck. The man already knew how to turn me on. He nipped at base of neck, where he knew I was sensitive. I pulled on his t-shirt, I needed him closer to me now. His hands which held my hips, constraining any movement, travelled up the sides of my waist and reached my shoulder. Pushing away a lock of hair, he nipped at my collarbone. It was brief, but I felt his hand circle around my breast from on top of the fabric. He looked up at me when his hands were at the base of my t-shirt. I nodded giving him permission. I sat up and he slowly peeled me off the garment. His eyes were dark, and he sat drinking me in. I was wearing a red sheer lace bralette.
“You… you always wear things like these?”, He innocently asked.
“No…”
“Then should I consider myself lucky?”, He smirked, his hands exploring my stomach and laying soft kisses up my navel. He kissed my breasts from on top of the bralette, kissing the valley between them, and holding them softly in his hands. The things he was making me feel were driving me crazy. I was annoyed that he still had his shirt on. He got the clue when I tugged on it. Quickly getting rid of his shirt, I was in awe of his defined chest and smooth abs. His shoulders were broader than I had imagined, the t-shirts never did justice to the sight in front of me. I knew he worked out, but this was a feast to the eyes.
“Like what you see?”, He joked. “I can’t lie, but I love what’s in front of me right now.”, He bent to kiss me again. He bit my lower lip, making me whimper. Kissing along my shoulder, his hands found the bra clasp. After fiddling with it for a few seconds, we both knew it was off. We looked at each other nervously, we were now crossing a line. Baekhyun slipped off the bralette off my shoulder slowly. Licking his lips, he first kissed around my left breast, his hand pleasuring the other. I was feeling too many things at once. All I knew was I wanted more. I pulled him closer to me, as he took my nipple into his mouth, a moan leaving my lips. Spurring him more, he bit down on my nipples slightly, leaving me squirming under him in sweet pain.
He then moved over to my right breast, sucking on the skin, while he rubbed the left nipple between his fingers, making me arch my back.
His kisses trailed back to my stomach, his hands now hovering over my pants. He was braver now, as he proceeded to unzip them. I helped him take them off, while he got rid of his own pair. Thank god, I had decided to wear matching lingerie today.
“You’ve come prepared I see.”, Baekhyun smirked, and I blushed.
Baekhyun was now caressing my thighs, brushing over my underwear. It made me shiver.
“Coffee are you sure?”, Baekhyun asked concern evident, “you can ask me to stop anytime. And if I lose my mind, just slap me.”
“I want you.”, I murmured.
It was enough. His lips found mine in an instant, his hands caressing my clothed core, now dripping with desire.
He tugged at it, sliding it off my legs. It was like fire surging through me when his fingers touched my clit.
“So wet already.”, He smirked.
Rubbing his fingers at my entrance, continually teasing, he enjoyed the effect he had on me. Suddenly inserting finger inside me, a loud moan escaped from me as he pumped his fingers in and out. His lips were biting my nipples again, driving me into a moaning mess. Adding another finger, he did it faster, when I felt a knot forming in my stomach.
“Baekhyun, I…. I’m going to cum.”
“Cum for me, baby….”
The orgasm hit me like a wave and I was already a mess.
“Tired?”, He asked as I orgasmed in front of him.
“A bit….”, I murmured.
“It’s going to be a long night, coffee.”, He said, taking off his boxers. His member was hard, he quickly took out a condom from his pants pocket and rolled it on.
“You had a condom?”
“I borrowed one from Chen. He likes to be prepared, so..”, Baekhyun said climbing back on the bed.
“I’m going to go very slow baby. It’ll hurt a bit.”
Positioning himself between my thighs, he first kissed my inner thighs, looking at me with lustful eyes.
He held himself close to my clit, rubbing it against me a few times. He hovered over me before kissing me on lips. He held me close as he slowly inserted himself inside me, stretching me fully. His eyes closed with pleasure as he entered me, groaning as I arched my back up towards him and breathed sharply as he let me get used to his size. He took my breasts in his mouth and nipped at it.
“Are you okay babe?”
“Yeah…..” , I murmured.
He moved his hips slowly, filling me in deep. It was truly heaven, I was melting in his arms. Slowly picking up pace, I couldn’t help but moan his name.
“Yes baby, say my name.”, Baekhyun said through his teeth.
He was thrusting deeper and harder into me now, making my breasts bounce. His soft grunts and my moans filled the room. I was already reaching my second orgasm, as he continued thrusting into me, his head nestled in my shoulder.  As my back arched, he reached his high too, and we both lay there for a while. He didn’t pull out of me immediately, instead kissed me gently on my lips.
After he pulled himself out, he discarded the condom and came back to bed.
“Are you cold? Do you want my t-shirt?”
“No, I’m fine.”, I smiled.
“Well then..”, he lay down and covered us with a thick blanket. “How do you feel?”
“Happy. Very happy.”, I pecked at his cheek.
“I didn’t hurt you right?”
“I’m fine. More than you’d think I’d be.”
“Chanyeol was right. Making love to the woman we love is different.”, Baekhyun softly said, brushing hair away face and playing with it, “Tonight was so special.”, He continued, kissing my forehead.
It’s like we had grew closer and connected our souls.
“But I’m mad about one thing.”, He said staring at the ceiling.
“Did I do something wrong?”
He turned to face me, his eyes glistening with playfulness, “You called out Baekhyun as I made love to you… you’ll be punished for this next time. You must call me oppa.”
Punishment for this? I think I’ve never been eager to receive one.

Fanfiction about the ending of vampire diaries
I just had an idea for the end of the vampire diaries so I just started writing, please notice I did not correct anything and did not proof read ( I’ll do this when I’m fully finished) Have fun reading.
It was a warm sunny day in New Orleans when Caroline Forbes and Bonnie Bennett entered the door tot he giant mansion where Klaus Michaelson lived.
„Are you really sure about that?“ asked Caroline Bonnie. „Actually, Care, I’m not. But I have to try everything for Enzo. I just need him really back.“, Bonnie answered, still with her heart aching when she said his name.
„How do we deserve this marvelous visiting?“. Kol interrupted the talk between the girls.
„Why are you still alive? Or again?“, Bonnie asked, shocked by seeing her old enemy.
„Oh my older sister kinda brought me back but that’s non of your business, could you answer my question now or do I have to snap both of your necks?“
Caroline and Bonnie looked at each other, really unsure about what to say. „Um actually I would like to speak to Klaus.“ Caroline stated nervously.
„Well of course Darling it is always so nice to see you.“
Klaus entered the room, smiling, it was really always good to see Caroline. Especially when times in the mansion and in New Orleans where rough. He just hoped that Caroline didn’t brought her lousy love affair Stefan Salvatore.
„Hey, Klaus. Could you speak with us in private? Please?“, Caroline asked.
Appareantly everybody except Hayley and Hope were in the house, so the vampires heard the conversation. Interested in what was going on they all entered the room.
„Sorry girls I think that will be unaccaptable. If you have anything to say to my brother we want to hear it.“ Rebekkah said cold with crossed arms.
„Rebekkaah.“, Klaus answered slightly annoyed. „No she is absolutley right Klaus. We do not want to get you killed, do we?“ Klaus brother interjected.
„Very funny Elijah.“
„Okay I have enough of all the fuss. I need your help because I know in New Orleans live really powerful witches and I – ‚‘
„Thats correct, they even live in this house!“ Freya interrupted her. „Well anyways…“, Bonnie started again:“ I need your help to bring a vampire back to life. Now that I see Kol I don’t think it will be too difficult to do.“
„Who is this about?“ Klaus asked. „And why should we help you?“
„Because I ask you to!“ Caroline called out. Desperate.
„Also you cannot control who I help. Sorry Niklaus if I hear her story and decide to help this girl, I will.“ Freya said.
„Then continue your story, little witch.“ Klaus said.
Bonnie sighed and began to talk:“ Enzo was the love of my life and I hoped to live a happy life with him until one of us died. Someday. But before we could even start think about this, Stefan ripped Enzos heart out of his chest and destroyed everything we worked for.“ Bonnie stopped to breathe because it was still so hard to talk about this.
„Your Stefan did this? Your animal-eating-not-killing-humans Stefan? Wow it is hard to believe this, haha.“ Kol laughed at Caroline. „Well..no.. it’s not like this… He had his humanity shut off!“ Caroline shouted.
Bonnie stared at Caroline and raised an eyebrow. „Seriously Care?“
Caroline looked on the floor and apologized.
„Would you please continue your story it’s getting a little boring.“ Freya asked.
„After he died, I got my magic back. And somehow I managed to blast his soul in a different dimension. But he is not really there. And I need him by my side. My mother burned his body though so I don’t know how to bring him back, that’s why I came here. To ask you for help.“
„A different dimension? Made by you? You have tob e really powerful to do this. Anyhow I indeed know a spell that might bring your lover back.“
 XXXXX
„So this spell will manifest his body out of your created dimension. Thank you, his soul is not in hell nor anywhere else, it might be easier to bring him back. I won’t promise anything though.“ Freya explained to Bonnie. „I understand. I just want to try.“ Bonnie answered.
Bonnie sat on the floor in the almost burned down cottage where she and Enzo spent a lot of time together. Freya said it would also make the spell a little easier. She was so devastated and scared. Scared that it wouldn’t work, scared that she would be alone forever.
„I prepared everything. You know the spell. We will start chanting together. Remember! You are not allowed to open your eyes during the spell, you have to concentrate on the spell!“
„Yeah I know. Alright let’s to this.“
Bonnie and Freya took each others hands, closed their eyes and started to chant the spell that Freya had found.
After a while Freya asked Bonnie to stand up and to say the final words which Bonnie did imidiatly.
„Bonnie open your eyes.“ Freya said quietly.
Bonnies heart sank. It didn’t work. He wasn’t there. She felt miserable as she opened her eyes to see only the burned cabin.
When she turned around to Freya she saw the face she missed so much.
„Hello Luv I missed you.“ Enzo hugged Bonnie, who started crying and laughing at the same time.
„Enzo! The spell worked! God I am so happy you are back.“ Bonnie mumbled into his arms.
Then she looked at Freya „And a the biggest thank you to you too.“
„I’m just glad it worked. Now live your happy life but if I may give you one advice: Stay away from Mystic Falls it is not safe there.“ Freya said and then left.
Bonnie and Enzo looked at each other.
„You know darling I think she is right. We should go somewhere safe. Somewhere warm.“ Enzo proposed.
„But what about the others? I mean Cade is still around and now that Kai is back too…“
„We’re putting ourselves first now. That’s what we should have done all along. I’d say you call Caroline and tell her the same thing. She should go somewhere far away with her children and Alaric.“, Enzo said.
„Oh well, I’d say she is already at the safest place. She is in New Orleans, apparently she and Klaus are raising their children together now or something.“ Bonnie laughed.
„What really? I thought she was with Stefan? Happily going into marriage?“ Enzo asked, kinda shocked.
„Ok no, I was maybe exaggerating. Caroline didn’t break up with Stefan but he left her because he thought it would be safer for her and her kids. I agree with him there by the way. And now Caroline is visiting Klaus because she wants them safe from Cade.“, Bonnie explained.
„Well maybe we’ll see Caroline soon marrying an Original Vampire-Hybrid.“ Enzo said laughing.
„From what I expierenced that wouldn’t be to bad actually. Buuut it’s about us now. Where do we wanna go Lorenzo St. John? You decide.“
„I’d say Cape Horn it is.“

After Damon received Bonnies message in which she said she would be go away for a longer time, he was appalled. He thought that Bonnie would help him and Kai to kill Cade and especially help to bring Elena, the love of his life back.
„Stefan? Stefan where are you?“, he shouted. It was now time for a new plan.
Since Stefan wasn’t answering he decided to take a stroll through the abandoned city.

While Damon was walking through Mystic Falls, looking for Stefan, he heard an unexpected noise. A car.
He turned around just to see a black Chevy Imapla driving towards him and then stopping next to him.
Two men got off the car, both had guns in their hands. Pointing them towards him.
„Wohoo this is no place where you can just shoot people!“, Damon shouted with raised hands.
„You are Damon Salvatore. You are a vampire-dick that killed lots of people, don’t think we’ll go easy on you buddy.“, the smaller one with shorter hair stated.
„Vampire hunters? Seriously? This is so not a good time, actually I’m trying to revive my dead girlfriend and to kill Arcadius aka Satan himself.“, Damon argued.
The taller one with longer hair, who in Damons eyes just looked like a huge moose turned his haid to his partner and asked quietly: „Dean! He knows something about this Arcadius, maybe we’ll asked him a few questions and if it doesn’t work out, we’ll kill him?“
Dean nodded and looked at Damon again.
„Hello-o Vampire hearing. I can hear exactly everything you’re saying.“ „Listen Buddy. We want to kill this Arcadius dude just as much as you obviously want. And by the way he is not Satan himself. We killed that one already.“
It was not exactly Damons plan to bond with some Vampire hunters to kill Cade, but well, he definitly wanted to kill Cade. Quick.
„Then I’ll guess it’s time to make a deal. Ideally one in which you do not try to kill me in the end.“
