last songs listened to: back on my bullshit listening to my DPS playlist; newest addition is Halina Heron’s ‘Guilty’ which i discovered because I was listening to the song ‘Guilty Moon’ from the Moon Hunters OST (which is ALSO a cool song) and it turns out it is actually ‘Guilty’ played/sung backwards.

currently watching:  re-watching the C-Team (d&d live play series) from the beginning because it is my comfort show and I miss it. As far as Actual Show shows, I think the last thing I watched was Violet Evergarden which is gorgeous and sad.

currently reading: uhhhh......yeah, ‘Read more!’ was one of the many goals that just went up in flames this year. Last thing I read was ‘The Four Profound Weaves’ which was excellent and I highly recommend. Very cool fantasy world and both protagonists are older trans folks. Also it’s like 120 pages, a novella, so it’s very easy to get through. Oh, and I haven’t started it yet, but a good friend just sent me Ghostlands for Christmas which I am excited to start.

how’s it going: Okay. Last week was crazy stressful with a roof leak and holiday stuff, but this week has been fairly chill so far. Fighting with art and writing projects at the moment and drinking the new tea I got for Christmas (it’s tasty!). My time off is never as productive as I imagine it will be going in XD, but I am working on things, just very slowly.

This is basically Giorno’s version of “but I refuse”. This episode was great. Always loved this particular Stand battle and not only did they deliver on that I was told extra content in the episode comes from “Purple Haze Feedback” which I didn’t read, but it shows the extent to how much DP wants to make this adaptation a success. We even got white haired Fugo for a moment so you all can finally shut up about that. In all seriousness this is just such a great part of VA and I’m so thrilled to finally reach this place. Purple Haze looks great, everything is just so exciting, seeing more interactions with Abbacchio and Giorno is entertaining as hell, the music is amazing. I listened to the OST and Fugo has a really great theme so hearing it during the episode gave it an added boost. We should be close to when we get a new op for that matter, we are on episode 12 so I figure next week we might see a new one. And this episode confirmed something I was suspecting last week. There is no censoring anymore. If they allow the birds decaying to be shown then I don’t think anything is going to stop them from showing Risotto vs Doppio uncensored or anything from Green Day and Oasis.

What made the difference?

2 days ago I discerned I was gonna end this. I cried the whole night thinking what went wrong. I told myself “How could you make it seem it was his fault when you know it was yours?” I knew I was done for. He didn’t talk to me or even send me an email. I was up all night hoping and praying for even one tiny message at our chat box would pop up. Nothing. Morning came and it never felt this lonely. I sat up on my bed staring at my sunlit window. I fell asleep I assumed. My phone’s vibrating. I couldn’t stop but hope it wasn’t just a network news or an update in the weather. I grabbed my phone and unlocking my pattern. There I saw a pop up with his dp on it. My heart was ready to apologize and tell him how rude I was until I opened it. He sent me a picture of a hand holding a rose with a quote “I love you but this time really fuck you”. How am I supposed to react now? It is 8 in the morning and I can feel anger surging up my throat. “Well fuck you too, jerk.” I said then I threw my phone back to my sheets. I sat there grunting and finally went down for breakfast. I couldn’t eat, not with all the curse words I could think of welling inside my mouth. I can’t do this. It’s funny how you end up running back to your room knowing your phone will be there. And where your phone is, he is there. Sat at the edge of my bed grabbing my phone as my eyes rolled when the screen lit up. “Let’s talk when we’re not busy anymore” “Have a safe trip.” HAVE A SAFE TRIP? REALLY NOW? I dumped my phone beneath the pillows and dove into the sheets taking a nap. I do not want to be awake right now.

When I woke up it was already in the late afternoon. I slept through it all. He’s still asleep considering the time difference we have. It was probably dawn for him by then. I sat up and immediately opened my laptop. I’ve been addicted to the OST of Beauty and the Beast 2017 lately so I searched up “How does a moment last forever” in Youtube. The moment I heard Celine Dion’s voice, I knew this was it. I cried like a baby figuring out how to fix this. I listened to the track over and over and over again, until I reached a decision. I was using his soundcloud for weeks now and I thought, why not use music to fix what was broken? I gathered up my soul that dropped 6 feet below ground and started recording the track as I sing. I have never felt such emotions coming from me singing a song. This hit me hard. After uploading the track in public, I decided to attach the link in an email. I sent it to him.

The night of that same day, he messaged me when he woke up. “I don’t know, but I think I’m still mad at you.” he said. “Just yell at me for all I care. It’s no use keeping all that anger in you.” I said. The next words he said, were the very words that melted all the anger in both of us. “It’s hard to do that you know? It’s just you’re too special to me. I hate that I love you. And I just want to say I love you to you.”

And that’s how he made the difference.
