the newest chapter has me thinking about kdj’s relationship with the fourth wall
#my ramblings#i always thought that the fourth wall was incredibly childish#it’s almost as if it not only expresses kdj’s thoughts but also his emotions#like if you factor in its previous identity (an existence presumably as old as the star stream itself)#even if it lost its memories it probably shouldn’t be acting this childish#i’m wondering if it’s because of the dokkaebi king’s connection to the oldest dream#maybe it would be more accurate to say that it expresses the oldest dream’s feelings?#wanting to consume as many stories as possible and being petulant when kdj turns it off#seeing a wall much like itself and calling it a friend#the way it often bickers with kdj and gets upset when he ignores it#it’s like he has to placate his inner child#idk if this makes sense. i kind of let my thoughts wander gsjshd#orv#omniscient reader's viewpoint#kim dokja
