My Project Org Editor 2024 Round 6 AMV/MMV!

I edited a Detective Conan video for every preliminary round of POE, but it took until this final round to finally make a blorbo AMV (something I'd been meaning to do since Round 3, but I somehow always ended up with another idea instead). With the theme of "Aliens, Time-Travelers, and Espers," and the goal being to edit a video focused on the "bizarre and supernatural," I knew I couldn't not follow through with a Heiji fancam, given all his "monster" cases.

(And hey, maybe there's also something a bit "supernatural" about Shinichi's predicament as Conan, too—and Heiji is always there to help him with that.)

POE is a timed challenge with only one week per theme, so on and off the last few months, I continued working on this AMV, trying desperately to turn the mess I submitted into something I'm actually proud of. And I think I succeeded! I hope this is a huge improvement, and I'm very excited to finally share my polished-up rendition.

yea so um. hello everybody!!!!! looong time no see. im alive and very sorry for the radio silence this past half of a year. i Really didnt think my hiatus would last that long but then bad stuff just kept happening again and again and again n all of it was really difficult to process/start coping with. honestly im still not in the best shape (both physically & mentally) to this day.. but i thought that i might as well come back online, even if i end up posting little-to-no art

I read it! Unfortunately I haven't been hyped about the manga recently so I don't have much to say BUT I DID ZOOM IN ON THIS

Cause is similar to my Aka headcanons. I thought i was going extremely delulu when I made him able to interact with Teru's soul and Kako being able to sew souls (which would be a fic spoiler but is literally said in canon now so is no longer an au plot point, is just how things are) but nope, is somewhat close to their canon power. Insane. I am giving myself a clap for this one.

The ramifications in canon are also interesting cause that means they can directly alter people's soul, I bet their time manipulations also effect the soul as much as the body, which makes sense since Akane can stop supernaturals (who have no bodies just souls) in time.

I am now certain Kako messed with 12 years old Akane's soul so he was able to see them to make the contract.

{Hello my lovelies. I am popping in here while I have the chance to breathe just to explain what happened to me. Again. ^^;;; }

{The holidays crept up on me and as I was once again trying to get back on my feet Sibling's Spouse made it home and our holiday celebrations began. And for us, we celebrate for however long Spouse is home so I have been absolutely covered up since. Today I'm making a big dinner so I will still be quite busy. I'm unsure when Spouse is going back on the road, but just know that I haven't forgotten you all. I care about all of you, I just am very busy. This holiday is a big one for us. (: }

Here's my art summary for 2023 and, welp, I drew a lot less this year than 2022 and 2021.

There's lots of reasons for that (I wrote more this year for one) and I was originally going to write out half a monologue about how I felt about it but looking at the summary now I think I'm alright with my art this year. I improved even if I created less than I wanted to. So seeing the monthly highlights on the metaphorical wall does make me smile a bit:-)

Anya had been avoiding telling Aris about how bad his leg was and about the status of the horses.. The truth was that it was worse than what Aris had been hoping for- His leg was healing, but it would never be the same and the police hadn't found any traces of their horses. She just couldn't bring herself to break the news to him..

Aris mustered up the strength a few weeks after the incident to see for himself what he had hoped was a bad dream..

The barn was empty, the air was stale. His hopes for the Olympics had been dashed in a single night. If the police ever find his horses, he would still have his broken leg to fight against. His family's security and income was gone and he found himself lost and unsure about what to do from here..
