okay it's way too late to continue working on chapter 6 of FQTP and I can't really pull an all-nighter cuz I got medical check-up in the morning for my unexpected job (my ao3 writer notes are gonna be fucking insane), so i'm gonna be rambling about the random stuff that i've been doing today

i finally started doing the natlan archon quest and GOD THE PRIMAL FEAR THAT I FELT IN MY SOUL when Ajaw spoke for the first time

for context i play genshin with japanese voiceover and with the new region we got a number of new characters (welcome to gacha world) and two of them are Kinich and Ajaw who are always attached at the hip but also argue a lot. and whoever is responsible for casting decisions in the japanese department really loves doing silly funny little things, thus Kinich is voiced by Sugiyama Noriaki, while Ajaw is voiced by Takeuchi Junko.

Yes, we've got Sasunaru in Genshin Impact.

This is not even the funniest thing that japanese dub did here. Half of major characters in Fontaine arc were literally voiced by people from the Attack on Titan's cast. Ono Daisuke (and his most famous role is arguably Jotaro from JJBA) voices Wriothesley there. Only in japanese dub Wrio does the "ora-ora" thing. It's insane and surreal and I love every second of it.

anyway, back to the original point, Ajaw appears and he sounds excatly like Naruto. my soul started to leave me when i was confronted with the idea that Kinich is seconds away and can sound just like Sasuke. thank god Sugiyama did the less bitchy and more calm pitch, otherwise i would have been bouncing off the walls screeching like a vulture.

also there was an absolutely hilarious explanation on what a piligrimage in natlan is. close enough, welcome back chunin exam.

well, I wanted to post it somewhere, but it isn't finished so I'm wasn't sure. Anyway I decided to post it here, cuz why not. Also there'll be a lot, and by that I mean, A WHOLE TONE of spoilers for TGAAC. So be aware.

So basically, I was thinking about making fanfiction or smt like that for my own TGAA3. It's very similar to AAT&T. Like first and forth cases are flashback ones, and three other ones are at the present.

So, now I'm gonna describe what they would've been like. They aren't really particularly thought out cuz I'm dumb as hell, so keep reading if you want to.

Well, first one is a flashback case,in which we're playing for Yujin. He's arriving at London with Genshin and Seishiro, and shortly after they meet Klint with prior Lord Chief Justice (Klint's mentor that was Lord Chief Justice before Stronghart). After giving LCJ report, they're going on a tour of London with Klint. In doing so we meet 17yo Barok and 29yo Gregson. They're working on a very important case of corruption in court and they decided to invite Klint. He says he's busy, but he maybe could join later. Barok runs of, saying he's gonna make his brother proud by solving case with his inspector friend. Before Tobias left, Klint asks him to bring Barok home by 9 after their adventure. Gregson agrees and takes his leave. Klint is very polite, but likes to tease Japanese Trio. After the tour, Klint takes his leave due to some Chef Prosecutor's job. Genshin desires to go and investigate this case Barok was talking about earlier. Mikotoba and Jigoku agree, so this trio goes. They're arriving just in time to meet young Herlock. And a new character. I haven't came up with his name yet, but basically he's just a corrupt judge. He is one of the nobles and doesn't respect anyone lover his status. Of course he doesn't like Japanese people or some filthy detective and inspector. He respects Barok a little bit more due to his noble blood and money his family posses. Basically he just talks with a people with money and takes bribes from everyone with money. Also he has this big as hell smoking pipe,cuz I want you. After a first ever chronologically Logic and reasoning spectacular, we get scolded by this corrupt judge, who openly mocks everyone around just cuz they're lower status. He "kindly" explains us that he won't get any punishment for taking bribes, cuz "Do you really believe everyone's gonna believe someone middle aged immigrants, boy next door detective and an inspector who's supposed protecting citizens, and not wasting my time on empty chatter. My god, is this really what our police forces became nowadays? It's truly embarrassing to show this kind of work before some filthy immigrants. I shall not tolerate this kind of behavior to someone as noble as me. We're gonna have problems, if I hear about something like these false accusations ever again. Did we understand each other, Inspector? ". Gregson has to eat his pride, and response something like "Understood". Barok is literally disgusted and disappointed with Judge's behavior, but Gregson stops him, saying that everything's fine (ofc not, he and van Zieks bros became friends due to having the same idea of everyone treated equally in court. Even noble ones weren't supposed to go unpunished, if they did some crimes). Japanese trio is also very displeased with Judge's words. Genshin is almost ready to draw Karuma, but controls himself pretty good, Mikotoba's sad, and Jigoku's already ready to fight this judge. Herlock clearly is offended by these statements, but Gregson stops him. Before this corrupt dude takes his leave, Klint finally shows up and passive aggressively confrontes "his Excellency" (As you may understand it's the story of the first Klint's victim). After this first day the trio decides where they all are gonna spend night. Jigoku and Genshin's gonna rent an appartement together and Mikotoba has no choice, but agreeing to Herlock's offer to rent together.

After a few weeks the first professor killing took place..

That's all I have for today, I'm gonna post some information about other cases when I come up with ideas later

So like tsukasa is prolly high key in sensory hell. Because you see he's the type of person who is almost always moving in some form but here's the thing

And like tsukasa is just sitting here ridiculously over stimulated and he doesn't know why or how to stop it

So like he's just sitting here dying from just sitting still. Not to mention that uh normally his hearing is actual ass because of his hearing damage. Like he can usually hear everything fine and he hasn't really noticed that he can hear less then he used to be able to. But like now that he's Ena, a person whose like able to hear normally he's just sitting here like "why tf is there so much noise. Is this a normal thing. Why is there like so many small noises. It's not like they're loud but I can't stop focusing on them it's giving me a headache" or something like that.

ALSO Akito and An (An had a body swap with yukina who as we all know is akito's twin sister) are trying to teach him to like talk at a normal volume because he's gotten so used to having to talk super loud to actually be heard by people.

Ok on to fun stuff he does during the body swap episodes.

He prolly downloads genshin on Ena's computer because he needs to do dailies. Que him having to learn how to play genshin on a normal keyboard and mouse. He'd prolly jump on stream and be all like "hey gang I think I might have possessed someone🤯. Like I didn't know I could do that😯. I didn't think I was a ghost but like guess I'm here now😜"

He prolly would be like "shi- since I'm like a hashtag girl now I should get Kiki (Akito) to make me a cosplay. This is a very important opportunity that I should use to it's fullest to wear cool clothes."

He'd prolly spend like forever in the bathroom trying our different hair styles with ena's hair. Since like when he was young he would style his sisters hair when it was at that length, but he had never styled hair on his own head when it was at that length. So like he's having fun with that meanwhile An and akito are prolly fighting for the second bathroom because they both need to do their long morning routines or whatever.

why did my eyes snap open at 4:03am

anyway here's what I remember from my dreams

it was the last day of high school & somehow everyone I've ever known in my life was there & wanted to talk to me. the highschool was in my elementary school if someone erased the entire interior & replaced it with some other things. all the lights were off except for like 3 in the cafeteria but people were acting as if things were normal. I talked to a LOT of people. then I went outside & this dude Michael that I met in college that I'm kinda friends with, like we don't hangout but we chat once or twice a month on Snapchat & freshman year of college he did go to the state fair with us, anyway michael was gonna drive me home fsr. we stopped in a restaurant parking lot & who pulled up next to me but mikhael & folden from 2018 when they were still together. i waved at mikhael & flipped folden off & michael was like "oh yeah she got with your ex immediately didn't she" & I was like yeah I hope she dies lol. then I was in the back of fodlens truck which was horrifying because she is always speeding, & this time was no exception! she started going 80 mph in the parking lot & now she also had a lever or something that would LAUNCH THE TRUCK INTO THE AIR SO WE WOULD FALL LIKE 20 FEET & i got to watch her launch her truck in 3rd person, which was a relief because if I'd still been in the back of the truck I probably would have died.

now I got on the bus to go home. the bus was driving us somewhere but I'm pretty sure we were on the wrong side of the road to be going home from. when we were almost there, my roommate from study abroad woke me up because apparently people were passing aroundn a small red 2 octave electric piano. & they wanted me to play some tunes. i think I tried to play world is mine lol . anyway then I was in a studio classmate's car with my sister & she kept trying to casually ask me for a cigarette bc she was convinced I smoked, but I don't. i never have. but she kept trying to plant a bag of cigarettes in my bookbag when I waslike "literally I don't smoke you can go through & check" & I was like sarafina you better cut that shit out girl . anyway in the passenger seat was another dude from studio that I never talked to but he did get on AIGA's graphic design student of the year list which I think is bullshit because every day in class instead of doing work he would watch football on his Mac. and his designs looked like shit - not even from like a layout perspective just a technical perspective - & he worked with the same group every time to cover up the fact he's not good at using adobe software. anyway we got to a big mall that has been in other dreams before & he turned into Xiao genshin impact & saved us a spot in line at Starbucks, which had just come out with some new kind of froyo drink that I really wanted to try, but sarafina made me& my sister walk down some hallway supposedly to the bathroom but we went into the stairway instead. we had to open some electrical box on the wall but we didn't have a screwdriver so I tried to use my keys (looking at my keys like aw man it's the last day of highschool I need to return to my dorm & move all my shit out & return my key, which was ESPECIALLY weird because I only had to do that once bc I only lived on campus for one year), & then sarafina turnedinto jean (summer outfit) Genshin Impact - her keys were apparently attached to her boobs like weird tumors so she had to try & open it that way..a janitor lady walked past & waslike "oh this is a tricky box you actually have to do this* & just slapped it really hard & it opened & then I woke up

Our next interview is with a producer and rapper out of a beautiful place known as Tauranga, in New Zealand, This creative is known as Jetson.

Probably a lot to do with the fact that bass has rhythm, just like the sweet sweet words Jetson correlates with his word-plays in tracks such as "Milk" and "SENSEI". Not only impressing cats, Jetson has made moves and connections beyond the long white cloud, proving isolation doesn't always silence brilliance. Jetson brings words any generation can hold some sort of relevance to, words that allow one to notice life moves fast and slow and sometimes you just have to chill and become an observer rather than an instigator.

This is something I feel Jetson has accomplished with his rather low-key approach to releases and interviews.

Jetson is a natural, a true prodigy of sound and a sharer of moods, and to me, is a reminder that with a little bit of passion and persistence, great things can happen, whatever your field.

Hey man thanks for the opportunity to share words. Let's start with a few random quick questions to get things going. Favourite Beverage: Lemon water. Favourite thing to do in your down-time: Make music/skate. Views on Reincarnation: It will be cool if it is true but I guess it doesn't really change anything if it is 🤷‍♂️ Favourite Food: Sushi. Favourite Album of All Time: Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Marauders A song to break it down to: Ethereal & Playboi Carti - Beef A song to chill to: Durand Jones & The Indications - Cruising to the park Do you prefer Sunrise? or Sunset? Why?: Sunset, because I'm never awake for sunrise. A childhood memory in regards to music: I remember saving up to buy Graduation by Kanye West and listening to that shit front to back for weeks straight. Thanks for that, so let's start by asking what inspires you to produce and not only produce but continually produce, what to me is an array of tunes fitting so many genres?

Do you have a set of goals in place when you release a track or do you just hit upload and just hope people are feeling your sound?

What I like to listen to is constantly changing so I like to challenge myself to try and make the things that I'm inspired by.

I like to think that you never know what you're gonna get when you listen to my music but I've still got so much to learn and experiment with. I just try have fun with it and not think about it too much.

How long have you been producing music, and what did you find was hardest to get the hang of when it first came to producing beats?

I had no music theory knowledge or anything when I started making beats (I still don't have much) so there was a lot to learn right away.

Probably the hardest thing that I still battle with is knowing what you should release, what you shouldn't etc. It's hard to balance knowing when something is finished and when it still needs work.

Could you give a quick run-through of the process you follow when it comes to making a beat?

I try to change my process as much as I can to keep things fresh and fun for myself. But I really enjoy hearing a sample somewhere like keys, a quote or a rapper I want to remix, then I start working with that piece and see where it goes.

I'll mess around with the beat for a while and sometimes a track comes out. It can take one day, it can take months. Just depends.

Oldies are always goodies in my books and I have to mention your "bumps from 2014" mixtape, it truly is something special.

What inspired those little bumps? What were you doing back then? Also, can you remember the mood you were in when you made them?

I'm glad you like it haha. That was when I really had no clue what I was doing in terms of making beats, I was making all of those 'off the grid' in Ableton so I was placing drums in random places, I had no idea what bpm the samples were or anything. I really didn't know wtf I was doing, just going off of a vibe. 

My mood was really just being excited about making music, I was living in the basement at my mum's house blasting beats on the speakers all day.

You are also a rapper. My favourite NZ rapper to be more precise so thank you for the vibes you create. How did you find out you had it in you to rap and how old were you?

Damn, I appreciate that ✌️ I started rapping with a friend of mine, Jesse aka j cafe when we were around 20. We'd sit in my room smoking weed, and free-styling over beats on Soundcloud all night. 

Then we decided to make a track, so we found a beat and jumped in the closet to record some vocals on the laptop microphone.

We put it up on Soundcloud and I've been addicted to making music ever since.

When did you first start rapping in front of others? What did it feel like in the beginning compared to now when you perform live?

I was insanely nervous the first time I ever did anything live and that feeling really hasn't left me lol.

Except now I know how to deal with nerves a bit better and actually enjoy the whole experience of doing something live.

I definitely think I'm a lot better now than my first time doing it, but I still kinda suck 😂 Staying on topic with your rapping, material-wise you have mad skills, your music is forever helping me chill out so thank you.

When did you start writing down your words and turning them into structured songs? Do you have any other artists that inspire your writing style?

When I was younger I really liked the flow of rappers rather than what they were actually saying.

Dudes like MF Doom and Earl Sweatshirt really influenced me at the start wanting to come up with lines that were catchy and different.

To form an actual track I usually just mumble over beats to get the flow, then I start placing words in the spots where I think they fit.

Does your family know you make music? If so what do they think of it, any dance parties in the Jetson Family Household? 

My immediate family all know and support my music. My mum used to have one of my tracks as her ringtone for years lol.

No jetson dance parties yet, but seems like every year more people in my extended family know about my music.

You were also a member of NZ Duo, Chill Children of which you rap and produce with yet another kiwi talent, both having low-key approaches when it comes to presenting yourselves through social media. What happened with that?

Me and J Cafe started Chill Children as a rap project in the early days but we moved to different places in the world and started doing our own solo projects so things sort of stopped happening with it.

I still credit those times with really getting me started on music though. He's still making dope shit and we'll probably link up on a track soon.

So then it became a sort of collective community, and through your Chill Children Soundcloud, you allow a platform for other artists to have their music heard.

Much Love on the concept, What inspired you to start sharing other artists music and what keeps you sharing? I'm very grateful btw, too many gems.

I work on music a lot with my friend emo the optimist (aka kodama) and we always wanted to run a label/collective kind of thing so we could release music from artists that we really liked.

After me and Jesse started doing our own thing, Chill Children seemed like the perfect place to start doing that.

It's one of my favorite things to work on as we have a hand in working with the artists on every release. I just love that we're able to share so much music that we really like with the world.

Back to your solo releases through your alias Jetson. What made you want to start putting out your material alone? Also, do you have a favourite Jetson release?

I really felt like I had to release music solo to see what I could do.

I've learned so much about myself through that process, became more confident and a better musician.

Probably my favorite rap track I've made is called 'Escape'.

Not many people have heard it but it's on Spotify and other places.

My favorite beat I've made is probably 'dylan rieder'.

Have to ask, are you working on any new releases we should keep an ear out for? If so, what can we expect with your coming releases?

I just released an album on Bandcamp called THROWED TAPES which was really influenced by DJ screw and other phonk producers.

I'm working on a lofi R&B tape for Bandcamp, a lofi beat tape, and I really want to release a rap EP.

Who knows when those will come out though haha

Taking it back a little to your rapping again I have to mention "Milk". What inspires the words in this track?

Also please share the story behind your track "Melancholy"? The words are somewhat mesmerizing, thank you!

With milk, I just heard the beat from bsd.u and really wanted to make something weird that just followed the flow of the beat.

On melancholy I tried to think about what I was saying a little more. The instrumental is so introspective and smooth I knew I had to come correct on it.

Do you know any grounding techniques? Anything to help your current headspace? I know maybe it sounds silly, but think about even the small things that you love. A favorite food, a song you like, a show you want to see the end of. If they bring you even a little joy and keep you here with us, they're important.

I'm sorry you're hurting. I wish there was some magic word that would help you instantly, but there isn't. For what it's worth, there are people who care and people who still want you here.

I know in your mind you probably think of it as helping to those around you take your own life, but it isn't. So many people would mourn your passing.

You deserve better than the pain. You deserve better than what the system has given you. I know you said you're tired of talking, but there has to be someway to help. Have you considered contacting a hotline? Anything?

(Even though I'm ok, I'm gonna answer a few more of these just because the talking helps but also because I dunno)

Honestly now that I've uh, well. Some exposition here i guess.. One thing I try to remind myself is that one reason we cry is to eject the chemicals that cause the emotion of whatever we're crying about, and thats why you can cry from any emotion, crying is like your bodys way of saying "we have so much sad chemical we gotta eject it outta here"

So now that I've been crying for uh i dunno roughly 6+ hours straight I think most of the sad chemical is gone and im numb now and im grounded from that, I guess. But im gonna smoke some weed and listen to music to try and help too. I hooked my ps4 back up recently and maybe I'll play genshin impact. Maybe I'll have some ice cream.

I guess I'll practice some breathing rechniques and just. Not think about things. I'll just try to listen to music and play a game or something and basically distract me from being upset. That works sometimes
