BTS Tutorial: Buying vs. Streaming

Attention puppykitties!

On March 24th, Jimin's album FACE is up against titans, including Ed Sheeran and Lana Del Rey. His antis have stated they WILL be giving them boosts just so he will rank even lower.

In addition, we will never get radio play like those artists because BTS will not bow to payola rules and pay for play. BTS has only ARMY.

So the best way to counteract that deficit is to buy the album. For example, you can chart a song by streaming it 150 times or buy it once, and it's the same count toward Billboard.

Jimin's album has 6 songs and is under a half hour long, so you can stream 900 songs nonstop for a day and a half, or you can buy 1 album. Given there are charts that count for 24 hours and for a week, buying is often the most expedient way to guarantee a spot on the Hot 100 and BB200.

For US and Puerto Rico, digital and physical albums are given the same weight in the charts (except for in WeVerse--digital songs in that platform do not count for Billboard).

I'm gonna link to Amazon CDs that will count for charts because Amazon products can be tricky with sellers from all over the world. I think you'll easily be able to find the albums on WeVerse (the digitals won't count toward Billboard but the CDs will) and the digitals on iTunes (this will count as a pure digital sale).

Now, let me say to my friends on here who are pinching pennies out of necessity: YOU ARE NO LESS OF AN ARMY IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO BUY ALBUMS. Nor are you less of an ARMY if you have to prioritize the typically cheaper digital version (it still counts, it just makes the artists a little less money and you don't get stuff like photocards and all). I'd love it if you could reach out to funding accounts for help; they often will prioritize digital and that totally counts too, both for charts and awards in Korea.

Whatever you do, be really careful of bundle deals with a bunch of ancillary accessories as those often will NOT count for Billboard--be sure to check before buying.

And even if all you do is stream on free trial premium YouTube and Spotify accounts, you are still helping. So no shame. No censure.

The reason we have success as an ARMY is so we can each of us contribute to the best of our abilities, and cover for each other when we need to tap out. If you're not in the US or Puerto Rico, you can stream in a different time zone and give those ARMYs some much needed rest or a chance to work at their jobs.

We all have our part to play.

So cover for other ARMY however you're able!

Whatever you can do, do it and take it seriously!

~Welcome To Early Strangetown~

I've always liked the idea of a Early Pleasantview, and i thought it was a real thing, and guess what? There isn't one for download! Well... Not that I know of. So In case if there was, I decided to make a Early Strangetown, that Is 20 years before Strangetown starts (approximately), and Is loosely based In the 80´s, at least I tried to recreate an 80´s vibe from a person that didn't experience the 1980´s.

This Is my first custom Neighborhood, so be nice to me lol. If you got any feedback or question feel free to talk to me!

A big reminder! I have the Ultimate Collection, so all EPs and SPs are required for the neighborhood.

*Edit 04.23*: I've made some corrections to the hood including, giving jobs (some Sims had the memory of the job, but were unemployed) , fixing grades, and gender preferences! Also fixed some text that was misspelled lol! ( and giving bios to the sims that I forgot to give oops! )

*Edit 07.22*: Now I updated the download link! Because this new file doesn't have any stealth hoods attached, because I'm making a sub-hood version of Early Strangetown as a shopping district, I'm just keeping you updated cause If you don't have clean stealth hoods, you will have all of those bin families from the EP's

*Edit 11.06*: Another update, mostly correcting the biographies for the sims, like typos and bad grammar. And fixed the apartment that the Loste family lives.

Just to clarify! The maxis match version, means that the oldest parents in each family got their original face from Strangetown, and their children are genetically correct, with their facial structures matching their parents.

~Neighborhood Description~

Knowledge-seeking Sims move to Strangetown to find the truth. Do aliens live among us? Do Sims die mysteriously here? And is the rumor true that a woman has secretly disappeared in this town? In Strangetown, nothing is as it seems.

I've renovated the residential lots, except 2 Cover Up Road, that's too iconic to renovate lol. And the community lots have not been changed.

About the families, they are just the parents of the premades, and the premades themselves. I´ve recreated their faces, which means that the faces are custom.

But I also included a Alt Hood, for the maxis match version of their faces (I extracted the facial structure of the premades parents from the @meetmetotheriver clean template of Strangetown, thanks to @strangetomato we have no corrupted faces!).

The hood comes with:

10 Families (The Muenda family, Nigmos, Specter, Curious, Grunt, Vandermorgan, Loste, Salamis, Loner.);

2 Families In the bin (Smith and Beaker);

9 Inhabited Residential lots;

3 Uninhabited Residential lots;

1 Apartment;

2 Community lots;

20 Adult Townies;

5 Townie Children

5 Teen Townies + 1 JOYFULL surprise!

I've made the all the sims genetically correct (through CAS). And made some genetic changes to fit the sims better, for exemple, Circe's father, his hair genetics is originally black, but i made it red, because i couldn't see Circe without her lovely red hair!

And i've given some of the sims Secondary Aspiration, just to fit the story, for example, A.P. and Jacqueline Vandermorgan, although they are Family sims, i gave them Secondary Popularity and Fortune (respectively) to fit their personal Bio.

And final thing i changed! The ages! I had to tweak some of the ages to kinda make sense, at least In my head. Like, basing of Olive's memories, at this point in the Hood, Lyla would already be dead, so i changed the time of the events, so that all of the sims would be In the same-ish stage of their life.

My Sega Shop order arrived today and of course all the items are Eggman related in some way!

First is my sixth shirt to add to my Eggman collection. Big fan of them using the grumpy Egg artwork hfjdhgjfjgjgkhg

I also got THE GAMING LOCKER, which is definitely my favorite thing that arrived today. It's holding my headphones, a 360 and Switch controller on one side, and two PS4 Controllers on the other. You can put charging cables and other accessories in the drawer at the bottom!

OBVIOUSLY the best part about it and the main reason I bought it is for the Eggman door! Once again using some of the really cool 2D art but with some cool new colors and textures. It's so beautiful... 🥰💜💘💕💖

I like how it says Eggman Inc. but not Sonic Inc. You see, this is actually an Eggman product, he created it for himself because he's a big gamer. (Though his own version wouldn't have Sonic on it or would just so he could cross him out or something XD)

Then you can open it and-

He wants me to tell you that he actually put it together himself with his little screwdriver!

It wasn't easy to put together because the instructions were not very clear and there's a piece of flat plastic that goes above the drawer that looks way too wide to fit in until you really shove and force it. It was complicated, I had to take parts off and put them back on multiple times, and I hurt my hands a bit but I got there eventually. It needs screws for the door hinges and headphones holder at the top, so it comes with the little screwdriver and screws you need.

It holds up to ten games inside!

Unfortunately, most of our Sonic games on the PS3, PS4, and Xbox ONE are digital. I also have much more of them for the 360, Wii, and PS2 but it can only display the smaller newer cases for games and movies. So I only have four physical Sonic games that actually fit in there. Well, technically five if you count the Lego Dimensions Sonic pack lol. But that's alright because I just filled the rest of the slots with some of the random games that my bro and I have been playing recently.

I'm sure it's no surprise to you that I bought this card game just because of the Eggman card lol but I figured it might be fun to play too.

There are player cards, character and ring tokens, more ring cards, enemy cards, and also power up cards, I think? You can only play as the characters on the cover. And they give you three of each enemy card of Metal, Orbot, and Cubot, and Eggman! I wasn't expecting to get three of him, so I'm very happy about that heheh

I haven't played it yet but just briefly reading the instructions doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me yet. Then again, I'm running on like two hours of sleep so it's not very easy to comprehend right now. Perhaps I'll learn to understand it as I go along with the game. ^^;

I also finally got this classic Eggman pin that I've been meaning to get for a while but it took some time for Sega Shop to get it back in stock and for me to have the money at the same time. I now have two modern pins and two classic ones, it's nice to add another and it looks very cool :D

Those are all the things that arrived from the Sega Shop today, I finally caught up with having all the Eggman related items that are currently available on the UK site. (Aside from a Xmas shirt that's only in sizes for little kids, so I'm not gonna buy that but I'm sad there's no adult sizes!) There's also something Eggman related that I preordered that's estimated to arrive in November.

Also got some figures that will eventually arrive from eBay, so I'll be sure to post those when they arrive too. ^^

Which version of lover should I preorder? On the target page #1 is kinda green, #2 is purple, #3 is blue, and #4 is pink (the buttons to preorder are anyway). I'm feelin #3, partly because it's blue and I was a Percy Jackson fan and he was a blue boy in cabin #3 but also blue is a pretty contrast. I mean either way it's gonna be cool, but I don't wanna order all 4 I just need one
