how to explain myself... i just think it's funny that even though Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man have one of the more emotionally engaging and well-developed opposite-sex superhero romance arcs I've ever seen, peter's disastrous bi energy is SO palpable that everyone still headcanons him as queer

#i've basically only seen TASM + the MCU + Battinson when it comes to superhero movies #so i'm comparing this mostly to the mcu where like. none of the het love stories are really that compelling but ALL of the same-sex #friendships or rivalries or rivals-to-friends-to-enemies-to-sad pining are SO riveting #idk does this make sense lmfao #the long and short of it is that TASM!peter and gwen are bi4bi and you can tell and also they are perfect and i love them <3 #peter parker #gwen stacy #mcu #i know it's not but just. chill #my employer's opinions
