God will see you through the rough days

“I drew a picture of you on my hand. You are always before my eyes. I have written your name on the palms of my hands. Your walls are never out of my sight.” Isaiah 49:16 (ERV, NIRV)

Friend, your name and your picture are inscribed on God’s hands. You are never forgotten. Your problems (walls) are always on God’s mind. He is working day and night, taking care of your problems for you. He may seem slow to act, but His timing is ALWAYS perfect. 

“And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day...” Genesis 3:8 (KJV) “I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:20 (KJV)

God used to walk in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. One day we will walk with God again, Until then, God still walks with us, even though we can’t see Him. He is still looking out for us, every minute of every day. 

God’s track record for getting you through rough days is 100%, so He will see you through this day as well. Amen!

PRAYER: Thank You Lord, for walking with us and helping us through rough days. Help us to lean and rely on you at all times. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

#Jesus #Isaiah4312 #Ephesians611 The Promise for this week is encouragement for what’s up ahead next year. 2020 has been a strange, albeit stressful year. All of us are glad to see it go. However, this doesn’t mean our problems will magically go away in 2021. COVID will still be around. So will political climate, economic issues, racism, etc. However, the biggest enemy will still be the devil. Satan has & always will be humanity’s great antagonist. All he wants is to separate us from God, hence why he tempted Adam & Eve with the fruit. We must remember that our enemies are not human people, but the Spiritual forces of darkness in this world, of which Satan is the leader. Jesus even declares him to be the father of lies. However, the second verse from Ephesians brings good news! God has equipped us with divine weapons to break down these enemy strongholds. These weapons are in the form of Prayer, Scripture, a community of believers to sharpen each other’s weapons. If we want to stand firm against the devil, we need to make sure we are wearing God’s Armor securely & brandishing His weapons with confidence & courage. As the new year starts, I think this practice is important. 2020 has definitely caught us slipping & this year may’ve revealed chinks in your armor that you didn’t know were there. Therefore, it’s important to continually assess it. Look at the Helmet of Salvation, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Belt of Truth, the Shield of Faith, the Peace that shods your feet. Each of these armor-plates is tied to a promise in scripture. Review those promises & reaffirm your belief in them. If the devil tries to tell you one thing, respond back with those same verses. Their meaning hasn’t changed. Neither has the One Who made them. You have no reason to fear & every reason to celebrate! Just as Isaiah prophesied, God is with us! If He got us through 2020, He will get us through 2021!
