Voyages Gastronomiques  La Grande Épicerie de Paris du Bon Marché est l’équivalent français des food halls anglo-saxons que l’on aime tant visiter à Londres ou à Los Angeles. Fondé en 1852 par Aristide Boucicaut, le Bon Marché est le plus vieux grand magasin du monde. En 1923, Le Comptoir de l’alimentation voit le jour, ancêtre de La Grande Épicerie de Paris. La sélection des produits insiste déjà sur l’exceptionnel, les produits frais et les expositions thématiques. En 1978, il devient La Grande Épicerie, avec une surface de vente doublée. Si elle a connu un lifting spectaculaire en 2013, dans les rayons, une sélection unique et exclusive de produits d’épicerie d’ici et d’ailleurs s’offre toujours à une clientèle très haut de gamme, conseillée par des vendeurs au fait de toutes les nouveautés : 80 sortes de pâtes différentes (dont celles du pape !), la plus chère des eaux minérales (à 60€, la bouteille), plus de 60 variétés de pains dont le Grand Pain à base de farine de petit épeautre, un whisky écossais de 62 ans d’âge, 200 000 bouteilles issues de la cave de 550 mètres carrés, une référence absolue, et 10 000 produits d’épicerie, rares, exotiques, souvent exclusifs, faisant de La Grande Épicerie un terrain de jeu extraordinaire pour les « foodistes » du monde entier. Lancées en janvier 2016, les 1 000 références de la marque La Grande Épicerie de Paris, gamme de produits salés, sucrés, frais et de luxe, née de la rencontre entre le savoir-faire de sélectionneur de la Grande Épicerie de Paris et celui des meilleurs artisans producteurs du patrimoine gastronomique français et international, viennent parfaire ce savoureux florilège. Des boutiques d’artisans signalées par de superbes mosaïques illustrant leurs spécialités – poissonnerie, boucherie, boulangerie, fromagerie, pâtisserie – recréent une ambiance de marché hyperchic. Des comptoirs de dégustation invitent à une pause gourmande. Cerise sur le gâteau au premier étage : LA TABLE DE LA GRANDE ÉPICERIE, une brasserie rayonnant sous la lumière de la splendide verrière.
