im gonna let you guys in on a little secret.

the more macden shippers shit on other pairings, the more multishippers like me will move towards their secondary and/or tertiary pairings. if i can't go into the charden tag without seeing a post intentionally tagged with multiple ships and trying to spark discourse between them by saying people who ship "rarepairs" are stupid and delusional, first of all, that's an instant fucking block, but like. I'm not going to feel like talking about macdennis when it feels like there's such an obnoxious pressure on you to fall into line and accept the widely preached and accepted fanon canon.

I love macden too. and I would post about and enjoy it a lot more if y'all didn't make it feel like we had to pick a side. just because you prefer the big popular ship, that doesn't make you smarter, or more correct than anyone who ships charden or charmac, it just means you have different preferences. i think macden has the biggest chance of being an actual couple on the show, and obviously mac and dennis are both gay and queer respectively, but if i want to ship charden, why can't i do that too? fandom is supposed to be fun, and it's supposed to be enjoyable, i don't want to have to fight to prove that this ship that i personally see working and enjoy the dynamics of is a "valid ship" when i am fully aware that they're not going to be canon that's kind of the point, and why i prefer it. and for the love of god... if you hc a pairing as platonic, that is perfectly fine. that's how i see charmac myself, but that is your view and your problem, not the shippers'. just block the tag so you don't have to see it if it bothers you that much.

and i don't like several of the other common rarepairs, but have any of you ever seen me talking shit on charmac or chardee shippers? no. stay in your lane and let people live. i'm sick of seeing people acting superior over a fucking it's always sunny in philadelphia ship.

“Are you sure you want to do this MC?”

You glanced up at your therapist, fiddling with your fingers as you sat across from her, legs crossed and body held tightly together.

“Yeah…yeah.”

“Why is this so important? Is there going to be something there?”

You stared back blankly, your feet tapping against the floor.

“Is there going to be someone?”

You stopped.

And she knew.

“Who is it?”

You hesitated, a warmth beginning to bloom in your chest as if it were a blossom in spring, opening your mouth to speak, the name slipping out without a moment’s notice.

“J-Jumin.”

“I thought so,” They hummed, grinning faintly. “You talk about him an awful lot-you always smile when you do too.”

“T-That o-obvious then?”

“Well, my job as your therapist is to understand my patients’ emotions and be able to read them. Whether or not it’s obvious to me doesn’t mean much when compared to others.”

“So…?”

“For myself, it was, for others, maybe. It depends.” She chuckled, curling her muddy strands of hair behind her ear.

“When did you start to have feelings for him?” She questioned, peering back in her seat, tapping her pen against her clipboard.

“I-I uh…I guess after I really started to get to know him. I-mean I thought he was sweet and maybe a bit weird when I first met him but I only really knew how I felt about him recently.”

“Do you think he feels the same?”

“Probably not.”

“Why do you think that?”

“He’s a millionaire! He could have anyone-someone much better than me…” You lowered your head, your shoulders slumping. “I-I wouldn’t even wanna be with me…”

“Has he shown interest in anyone else?”

“Well…no,” You stifled a hint of laughter. “In fact, he acts like he hates the idea more often the not.”

“But with you? How does he act with you?”

You thought of how during your seemingly countless and endless calls with Jumin how his words would soften to almost like silk, traces of laughter always sinking into his conversations with you as if it were a gentle sort of blessing.

You thought of how he’d confess to simply how much he had missed hearing your voice, always an odd sort of comfort on the other line despite his typically busy schedule.

And it made you happy. 

It wasn’t the sort of happy where you were simply content, but the sort where it felt as if you were standing before a fireplace on a cold winter night, blossoming against your skin tenderly. 

“He acts…different.” 

“What do you mean?”

“Nicer…other RFA members have noticed it.”

“And their responses?”

“Zen didn’t think it was possible for a robot like Jumin to have feelings, Yoosung thought it was sweet, so do the others.”

“Have you asked him about it before?” 

You froze, your heart stopping at the very idea. 

“I um…I-I couldn’t do that.” 

“Well, has he given any sort of verbal hints?” 

“I-I mean he asked if I would come-h-he said he really hoped I would,” You felt pink sprinkle your cheeks as you remembered what he had said. “he said he really wanted to see me.” 

“And you want to see him, don’t you?”

“Y-Yes! Of course, I do!” 

“Then, you should go,” She smiled warmly, looking to you earnestly. “But please, remember to take your meds that day and take some with you in case of any sort of emergency, and remember your methods.” 

You nodded, feeling a sense of pride well inside of you.

You could do this.

It would be fun.

It would be fine.

“I will.” 

And soon enough, it came.

And it wasn’t fine.

 The people had crowded you the moment you arrived, every angle seemingly having someone plastered against you, no matter how much you moved and shifted.

Even as you met Jahee you felt her tone as if it were a hammer banging against your ears, only able to muster a small greeting before rushing off into the main ballroom, simply praying for some sort of peace and quiet.

It was almost peaceful.

Almost. 

You had found yourself a corner towards the edge of the grand room, finally giving yourself a chance to rest and calm down as you waited for Jumin.

Until 707 arrived.

His intentions were well-meaning.

But that only did so much.

“Hey hey! How’re you doing?” 

You offered him a small grin in return, waving slightly.

“Hi 707, I’m uh…I’m fine.” 

“What’s the matter?” 

“Nothing, not really I guess.” 

He raised a doubtful brow but shrugged and reached out a hand almost expectantly. 

“Then…I guess you wouldn’t mind having a dance with ‘God 707′?” 

You simpered weakly. “Maybe some other time.” 

“Aw come on, it’s a once and a lifetime opportunity!” 

“Then I guess I’ll just live my life-without it.” 

“No, you’re not!” 

“What do you-”

Before you could even finish he snatched your palm in his own, leading you to the dancefloor, the sudden intense volume of the people leaving you staggering.

You struggled to catch up with his quick movement and conversations, your heart twisting into knots and the air inside of your lungs suddenly vanishing into nothing. 

You began gasping for breath nearly, struggling to get away, your thoughts scrambling in a mix of horror and confusion. 

Yet those questions seemed to be answered as you jerked back, dashing off back to your corner until you rammed into someone, prepared to smother them in apologies before you saw just who it was.

Jumin.

He grinned at the sight of you, chuckling softly.

“Hello MC, how’re you-” 

He noticed something was wrong.

Very quickly. 

“Why’re you about to cry? What happened?” 

He waited for you to answer, but resigned as you couldn’t bring yourself to come up with the words, your vision blurring and chin quivering. 

“Here, come on,” He wrapped an arm around your shoulder lightly, keeping you shrouded away from the others as he lead you out through the back, the only sound remaining being the two of you and the crickets scattered throughout.

“Take deep breaths MC, you’re okay,” He cooed. “here, follow mine.” 

He took slow, soothing breaths, softening as you began to mimic his, the shuddering throughout your limbs finally beginning to stop.

“There’s nothing to be afraid of, you’re okay now, nothing is going to hurt you,” He hummed. 

“I’m here, MC, it’s okay…it’s okay.” 

“I-I’m…I-I’m sorry.” You slowly replied, heaving as you unraveled a pair of anxiety meds, swallowing them hastily as if that’d help in seconds. 

“You have nothing to be sorry for, I’m sorry that happened to you,” He assured you, a bit of heat rising to his cheeks as he asked you a question.

“Can I hold your hand?”

“I-”

You were lost for words.

You could only manage a nod, though whether from embarrassment or the anxiety still etched inside of you, was hard to tell.

But he took it.

He intertwined your fingers with his own, squeezing your palm and running a fond thumb over your knuckles. 

“I’ll stay here as long as you need me to, don’t worry, I’m here, I’m not leaving.” 

You swallowed hard, glancing up to him once last time, feeling something like a smile tugging at your lips from him.

“You…you promise?” 

It didn’t even take him a moment.

And you knew, it would be alright.

“I promise.”

CHARACTER PROFILE:

Although identifying as wholly cis-male, Benji has never had trouble using his clothing to express himself. Sometimes, he can be found wearing a straight-forward outfit of a hoodie and a pair of jeans. Other times, he’s seen wearing a skirt and his newest pair of Converse chucks. It just depends.

Benji is actually a product of Benji and Hunter’s father having an affair. Benji’s mother actually tried to keep her pregnancy a secret, but once this all came to light, in true Clarington fashion, their father sued Ms. Adelman, using the best lawyers money could buy, and gained full custody of Benji. Ms. Adelman was allowed very strict visitation rights for the first few years of Benji’s life, but not much after that. As a result, Benji has never seen Ms. Adelman as an actual mom and the two don’t stay in touch.

However, Benji decided at a young age that he was going to practice his biological mother’s religion of Judaism. Although he is by no means a strict orthodox, there are still a number of Jewish traditions that Ben makes a point to practice–such as avoiding pork, attending services every Friday, and never being seen without his kippah. He also attended Hebrew School when he was younger and, thanks to the Claringtons being well off, he was able to pay for tutors that taught him both Hebrew and Yiddish. As far as values go, Benji’s relationship with YHWH is one of the most (if not the most) important things to him.

Unlike Hunter, since Benji was a result of infidelity and Mr. Clarington felt a little guilty about suing Benj’s mom for full custody–she was an expensive escort, and Mr. Clarington knew Benji would have a  much better life with him–he did give Benji some liberties growing up. As long as Benji did Krav Maga and kept up with his studies, he was allowed other things he wanted (expensive ballet classes, tutors to learn Hebrew and Yiddish, any video game console he wanted, etc.).

Since the age of 7, Benji has been practicing ballet and other dance styles and his main career goal is to be a dancer/gymnastics performer of Cirque du Soleil. Once he retires, he wants to buy and run a dance studio of his own.

What made you want to attend Joie University?

“Two big reasons! First off, I really wanted to go to school in America. As much as I love Canada, I really don’t feel like the dancing programs we have there really compare to the programs that you can find in the States.

Secondly, I wanted to go to the same school as my big brother Hunt. He’s, like, basically my biggest role model, so what easier way to make him proud than to go to the same school as him? (Also, I kinda just missed him being around everyday.)”

What are at least 3 positive or neutral and at least 3 negative traits that you believe you possess?

“Okay. So positively, I feel like I’m really empathetic. Like, I see and understand what others are feeling. I also think I’m fairly conscientious when it comes to most things. Learning physical forms like Krav Maga and ballet… you seriously to disciplined, and I feel like a lot of that comes from being bound to your conscience–which then rolls back into the way you treat people. My third positive trait is also neutral and kinda negative, depending on the situation: I’m a loyal dude. Like, to a fault. And while it’s nice at time, it also sometimes puts me in situations I’d rather not be. And, in the worst cases, it blows up in my face.

For negative, I have one really big one: I’m short-tempered. Not always, but there are definitely times where I just… break. Hard. And it’s seemingly random and, honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if some people see it as kinda scary. I can’t really explain it… maybe I get it from my mom’s side. Another thing (one that I think is positive, honestly, although others don’t agree) is that I’m brazen. Like, I say what I mean, I wear what I feel… I’m an open book, as much as I can be, and although that’s great, it’s also just… not, y’know? My other negative trait is that I’m immature a lot of the time. I’m not denying it, but I’m also just kinda questioning why that’s negative? I mean, who wants to drink black coffee and read newspapers all day? I’m 18 and I look like I’m 15, sorry not sorry that I wanna get tipsy and dance to Rihanna in my bedroom all day.”

“My loyalty. It gets me in trouble, but y’know what? That’s okay. If I feel something is worth part of me, I’ll give all of me. And I think that’s admirable.”

“I mean, I think I kinda already explained that! Loyalty means sticking together. Because, y’know, teamwork makes the dream work–all that jazz.”

What do you hope to gain from your experience at JU?

“A badass dance education, an even closer relationship with Hunt, a bunch of new friends, a soulmate, a new boyfriend, someone who’ll help me pick out clothes for a whole new wardrobe, a big break for my dream career, a pet dog once I’m able to live in Sylvester Apartments… I mean, basically I want JU to be the beginning of the rest of my life.”

Oh boy. its been a while. my memory on this series is rusty at best, so im sure what i know is going to be what my memory was biased on remembering. also i dont know anything from shippuden, so this is all from the original series.

·         Female Character - Temari. she seemed like a total bitch in the chunin exams arc, but when they had to rescue the leaf ninjas from orochimaru’s squad it became clear she just puts on that exterior to her current enemy. 

·         Male Character - Gaara. i have a dark fangirly past with Gaara.

·         Team - forgot their number... Kiba, Hinata, and Shino. 

·         Sensei - Iruka. He was so nice.

·         Hokage - 3rd Hokage, he seemed to have the best qualities of a leader.

·         Do you have any headcanons? I view Rock Lee as what would be considered disabled in ninja society. He cannot do what others can, and needs to work extra hard to get where he is. Even has his own weird way of doing things. he gets along in his life seemingly great, but struggles hard to keep up.

·         Are you happy with the ending?

IDK i never finished everything. i know the canon ships and about Boruto, but i dont know much else.

·         How do you feel about the Next Generation? I fear it will repeat the original series (the series i know, when they were 12) but this also might make it really nice for actual fans who kept up with it, unlike me.

·         Say something about your favorite character. I found myself identifying with Gaara, hence my fondness for him, and i thought he got boring as he healed but now that i have healed i understand. 

·         What would a child between your OTP look like? Idk. do temari and shikamru have a kid yet? they’re cute together in the canon. 

·        Say something genuinely nice about your NoTP.: i cant. multiply negatives and you get a positive...?

·         Say something negative about your OTP.  as i said i dont really have a true otp.

·         What makes you mad about the series? The reason i quit!!!! i got tired and bored of all the flashbacks and too many conversations that did not interest me.  it got too long for me to want to catch up. 

     If you could see anything happen in the series, what would it be? Orochimaru coming back to life AGAIN. how many times did it actually happen??? 3? 4?

·         What would you say to Kishimoto if given the chance? This series was definitely a great help for audiences who felt they lost their place and didnt see a way to fight through it all any more. characters were relatable to all sorts of troubled people. it definitely helped me.
