starting to feel like part of the reason that Sam and Celia's romance thing feels a little off rn is cuz like. what do you mean they're actually dating. he asked her on a date and she said yes. and it's working out so far. it's chill and fine. what do you mean they're not pining for 4 seasons, not communicating, and then getting together only after one of them walked through hell to drag the other out and make sure they know they're loved and wanted. they haven't even patched each other's wounds yet hello. aren't y'all moving a little fast.

y6 review (spoilers obviously)
i think y6 had one of the best stories in rgg like in terms of story its about equal to y0 for me. it didn't really have that same amount of tension but the thematic consistency made it both very powerful and very easy to swallow. like it was very blatant and obvious with the themes it throws at you without getting too corny and that's a hard line to walk. it was paced brilliantly too.
for example i enjoyed the hirose/kazama parallels a LOT it was really satisfying! parallels like that tied a lot of the games' themes up really well together, intentionally so. it's just a really solid story.
this is going to sound funny coming from raymond "i wish y5 was sadder" aeirs but i wish y6 was a littleeee more funnysilly. like it feels significantly heavier than the rest of the series. like it makes sense because like Funny Silly Guy 40 year grand champion belt holder majima is in jail but it kind of made it hard to stay focused for me.
that's kind of the point though i think. like the contrast between this and the previous games works so well because like Only Playing As Kiryu kind of blows a little bit intentionally.
idk! great game. i don't have a ton to say beyond that i'm still reeling from the endDAIGOOOO WAHHHHH WAHHH WAHH WAHHHH KILLS MYSELF HES HIS SON STOP. STOPPPPPP STOPPPP kills myself
