Julian Headcanon's:

I think Julian would look very adorable sporting any size baby bump.. From the smallest swelling, to barely noticeable, to being very obviously with child.

Like, oh God just noticing him and seeing him light up because he sees you, and he hurries over, your the only one who knows the slight difference in your red-headed lover's appearance.

His abdomen swells out just a little more as days turn into weeks, weeks into months.. He's getting nervous, but is trying to hold some confidence. They say a baby can hear you at 6-8 months, but who really knows? He doesn't want the baby to hear him whine and be pathetic, but he can't help the nerves. Constantly reassure him that he isn't being 'a bad mom' the baby isn't even born yet!

Gosh, he's VERY clumsy, the bigger he gets the more he starts becoming a physical trainwreck. He gets bumps and bruises all over his arms and legs from running into things, tripping, and falling. He's not used to the great shift of weight now growing within him.

You probably have to Julian-proof your home, and have someone keep an eye on his cute clumsy ass when your not home. Asra and Portia gladly volunteer! He tries to tell you that 'I'll be fine (Y/N)! I don't need to he babysat by anyone!' Too bad! He gets babysat anyways.

He's still very dramatic, the big baby bump makes him look silly! He'll throw himself on your lap and whine about how ~achey~ he is and how attention starved he feels. You may have spoiled him to this point.. But do you regret it? Hopefully not!

Julian can't get some things for himself either, like he can't bend over because of how round he is.. You have to get him things he dropped, otherwise he'll be stuck on the ground..

At first, he was morning sick persistently, couldn't even get out of bed. Mazelinka made soup to-go so you could *hopefully* feed it to him. He put on a brave face, but he couldn't take it. He didn't fight you (which was the worst part, even though it made him sick, he knew it wouldn't be good if he starved himself unintentionally.) Julian avoided certain foods due to smells, taste, or texture. Some things he enjoyed, he couldn't stomach anymore.

He tries his best to not look how he feels. Already looking sleep deprived and pale, he doesn't want to make you worry because he constantly feels terrible.. From headaches, to nausea, to having a mood swing.. He can't force himself to pretend all the time.

Sometimes, he raises his voice a bit, but immidietly cries afterwords and apologizes over and over again. You know he really doesn't mean most of what he says. But that doesn't mean your not a little hurt on the inside.

Poor Julian is a mess.. But he's your mess. Be there for him as much as possible because this is a very precious experience. The sailing was far from smooth sometimes, but as all storms come to pass, so does the rough water's.

Julian reads up on as much as he can so he can be absolutely prepared for what's about to come. It's not a uncommon happening in Vesuvia, stranger things happen.. And have happened. Some of what he read made his face flush, he's a doctor! This shouldn't new news to him!!

But, at the end of it all, it's so worth it. Love perseveres and blossoms even under the toughest of conditions. Nothing could ever want to make Julian leave you ever again. Thick and thin, he's there for you at your worst, and you there for him at his worst, sometimes bad days happen.. That's okay.
