Hi nic! I've been gone for a while, studying for my finals and all, but for me the semester ends in two weeks so I'll finally get to read all the juicy fanfics you wrote since I went MIA lmfaoo ❤️

What I noticed coming back: aesthetic change and a whole lot of joel miller 😭

I love the new theme! Light blue is the color I always associated with your blog, and I never knew why, so this is a really cool coincidence 🩵

And I can't wait to see the joel fics! You might just get me back into my tlou phase 😭 I was never much of a simp for the old man, but considering you managed to make me simp for chris redfield with your fics, I might just be hopping onto the joel hype train!

OMG HEY NEW MOON ANON!! It's been so long since I've heard from you. I'm so glad you dropped this message in my inbox, it put a smile on my face earlier at work and I'm just happy to be hearing from you again, it's not awkward at all!! I hope all of your finals went well and I'm wishing you a strong finish to the end of your semester!! 💕

As for me, I don't remember what exactly I've written recently lmao I'm sort of going with the flow right now and posting what comes to mind but of course, feel free to tell me what you think with whatever you find interesting/intriguing. And corresponding light blue with my blog is so cool and funny. I never even really cared for the color until now (I've always liked the color purple) but that makes me happy. 🫶

And yeah, I sorta kinda added a bunch of characters to my writing roster and essentially expanded my interests. Fun fact about me: I've always had a genuine crush on Joel Miller, like since the first version of the game came out in 2013 and he just kind of stayed in my brain for a very long time and never left. It's not until the remake of the TLOU Part I dropped, watching the show a while back, and reading a lot of Joel Miller/Pedro Pascal combination of fics that I felt motivated enough to want to write for him, but I was always scared to do that. I said fuck it and just bit the bullet and wrote for him.

I just felt like I needed a little refresher with writing, and so far writing for Joel has been fun and sort of fulfilling for me in a way I haven't felt when it came to writing in a while, so I'm glad it's happening.

I haven't parted from Resident Evil or Leon Kennedy completely just yet, but it has been difficult to think about him recently so writing for other characters helps! I added a lot of new characters I'd love to write for and a bunch of masterlists so I hope I can convince you to like them too lmao!

And yeah, work is much better now, I'm more adjusted to my job right now so things are going good. But I'm prepping for vacation so I'm looking forward to that. Very happy to find out you're doing good seriously, glad to hear from you hun. :)

Well, it's kinda awkward but I don't think I'll be that active on Tumblr anymore?

You see, before I became a weeb overlord, I created a sideblog to post anime content stuff — which weren't many at the time — while keeping this main blog. So after my obsession grew worse I was mostly active in that sideblog. After a while, though, all my weeb fandom stuff is not exactly niche but usually just have a small or non-existent community here so it was kinda hard to to be more active here, even if I wanted to.

It was QSMP that brought me back, I was also the type that just lurked around and reblogged stuff, but after knowing that the community existed here I got overjoyed and it was nice to be able to share my opinion with everyone and interact with people! I think if I ever got 5 messages in my inbox before QSMP after all these years in Tumblr was too many XD

But to answer your original question: my favorite shows are: Gintama, Extracurricular (kdrama), The Boys, and Gravity Falls! And "dez-wade", this blog's name com from a character from Austin & Ally, a Disney show I was obsessed with.

My favorite games are: Persona franchise, Nier franchise, TLOU, DMC, and I've started trying to get into the Kingdom Hearts franchise lately. I also play gachas like: Fate/Grand Order, Honkai Star Rail, Genshin, Alchemy Starts and Twisted Wonderland.

Because QSMP was kinda my hyper fixation for awhile, I'm still trying around watch/play/read some new stuff to distract me. And I hope I can find one thing that makes me actually active on a fandom, here especially, because usually I'm a hermit.
