          With the weather being warm, ice cream was a godsend. Yet the cravings were a little untimely. Usually, he could request Edward’s services and he’d bring a pint of ice cream on the way home from the office. Yet he’d been alone in the house for some time now. So now he’s walking back home through the park with a little more than what he came out to retrieve. The sun had set at long last and people were walking dogs or packing up to head back from where they came. One, however, stuck out to him. A man. Asleep on the bench facing the walkway. ‘Had he been here when I first passed through?’ Concerned, slender digits shift their shoulder, shaking him in hopes of waking them. “Ex...cuse me?”

He slowly climbs into bed with the other, nosing at the sheets until he's underneath them and beginning to wiggle ever closer to the other. The pup settles on wrapping around Amon's waist, cheek pressed against the taller man as he lets out a soft huff and gets comfortable.

     WORK WAS EXHAUSTING AS usual, Amon far too tired to do much of anything when he had returned home. It was so odd stepping into inside and catching the scent of another present after being alone for so long. There was...something oddly comforting about that, with Diesel becoming someone who he had simply grown accustomed to seeing every day. The other's scent even clung to his clothing, though at this point in time. Amon held no issues with such a thing anymore. Eyes opened just slightly as he felt the shifting of covers and familiar warmth against his form. It brought a smile to his lips, as he settled back into his pleasant slumber. It was so much easier sleeping nowadays.

     He had become far more attached to Diesel than he had intended, but that was fine. Amon was glad that they had met on accident. Idly for a moment, he wondered if it was fate. ❝Goodnight, Diesel.❞

       Dates were… difficult with Diesel to say the least. Keeping the other on a figurative tight leash was trying when they were surrounded by other people, curiosity tending to override rationality whenever they passed by something to strike Diesel’s fancy. Tsukiyama already had an inkling that Diesel was a needy individual, yet when their relationship took an unexpected turn, he learned this assumption to be more actual fact than anything. It didn’t help that his neediness had no boundaries, no shame where they were.

       Draping an arm around Diesel’s shoulders, he pulled the hound closer to him, scrutinizing the strange expression on the other’s face. It was almost… expectant? Tsukiyama didn’t know what prompted Diesel to be clinging to him and giving him pleading eyes, but he wasn’t going to give in when they were in the presence of other people. “Have you forgotten?” he chirped, gently squeezing his shoulder, “When we’re in public, you have to behave.” Not beg for kisses and act desperate. Embarrassing.

       Ever since the sweet hound had confessed his affections, he was seemingly “friendlier” than Shuu had bargained. Greedy might have been the right word for it, judging by Diesel’s eagerness. Not that anyone in the right mind would complain, but it was different in comparison to how most would have treated him if they had known about him being a ghoul. All the more different from when Shuu had brought the stray mutt home with him… Ah, but he couldn’t think of Diesel like that anymore. No longer a pet but something more.

       He heard Diesel approaching before he saw him, expectant once the other embraced him sweetly; there was no protest, arms enveloping Diesel’s smaller frame. “Someone is quite happy to see me,” he mused, bowing his head to return the bit of affection with a kiss of his own. It brought laughter from his lips, a smile etching onto his features. Lithe fingers curled into the loops of Diesel’s pants and tugged him impossibly close, leaving no room for either to run.

       “I hope you weren’t intending to give me only one kiss though. Don’t be selfish, Diesel.”
