hiya, it’s orion (taehwi’s mun), back with another muse. ♡ this is moon seonjae, and while i work on his profile and things, here’s a quick introduction to him and a few possible plots to start with! this is a sideblog so it’s why i’m unable to follow back, but feel free to message me here or over on taehwi for any new plots with seonjae, or leave a like and i’ll try and come to find you soon! 

     BACKGROUND

── seonjae grew up in seoul with his mother, only the two of them. his mother had always been an artist, and they lived above a ceramics studio in which she made and sold her own works, and hosts regular ceramic classes. 

── he’d always helped out with the business, and they have always been incredibly close. he’s very protective over her, and while he doesn’t know much about his father, he also became incredibly close with his aunt, who would often come over to babysit him while his mother hosted classes. 

── there is the fact that he’s never been able to sit still. the only time he’s able to calm that steady rhythm throughout his body is when he’s making pottery, when he’s concentrating on finding form through the clay, or when he’s singing. it had been something he discovered one day while cleaning up the studio, humming under his breath. all of that radio static in his mind and his bones dissipates. 

── so he sings. he writes. he writes so many songs, and instead of making them into something more, he carves and creates more pottery, works with the clay and tries to settle all that steady beating he hears. 

── his aunt likes to take him to music shows. it’s this way that he discovers he could sing for people, that he’d like to, and so he signs up for open mic nights. seonjae starts getting invited to sing for events, for other bands, and so he goes where he’s asked, and uses the money to help out his mother, pay for the studio and supplies.

── he gets scouted by a company when he’s seventeen. he trains for a year before he debuts in tidal in 2015 as the main vocalist of the group. he sees it as a chance to turn something that’s always comforted him into something that could comfort others, too. he just wants to spread happiness just like he’s seen his mother do with her talent all of these years. 

── seonjae’s usually quite relaxed. not much bothers him, and if anything, he’s always just listening to music, knee bouncing, or trying to find something to do with his hands. 

── while he does write music, he doesn’t show much of it off, more of something that he uses as a way to occupy his time. 

── he likes calling back home to his mom often. since he wasn’t apart from her usually ever until he started his trainee life, he still has moments where he misses home, even all of these years later. 

     PLOTS

── he’s an incredibly good wingman. let him know you’ve got a crush on someone at the bar and he’ll go over and introduce you both in the next five minutes, you don’t even have to ask twice. 

── if you ask him to go with you at two am to go and buy snacks from the convenience store, he’ll drop everything and go with you, singing at the top of his lungs all of the while. 

── he doesn’t mind going out of his way to make others laugh, even making fun of himself whenever he’s a little too clumsy and he runs into something, or trips over his own feet. 

── sometimes he gets himself air drying clay to play with throughout his days, and he forms them into tiny animals and leaves them somewhere for someone else to find. he doesn’t really admit to doing it, but maybe you’ve seen him leaving one behind and you have a certain request.

      PROFILE !

hello hello! i'm orion (he/him, est, 21+) and this is han taehwi! leave a like and i'll come and find ya, otherwise, here's a little introduction to him. ♡

     BACKGROUND

── taehwi's gotten used to keeping things to himself. ever since he was younger, he always kept it quiet how much he enjoyed books and art. his parents wanted more for him, a more 'honorable' career like a doctor or a dentist or something to make a name for himself and their family.

── it's not something he ever envisioned himself doing. he would wander off without his older brother, taegyeom, four years his senior, and find himself singing by the river, quiet, under his breath.

── he studied well, he did well in school, like what was expected of him, but the whole time, he always knew he wanted to be somewhere else, doing something else. in the back of his backpack behind all of the textbooks, he kept a secret journel where he drew when he knew he was alone.

── taegyeom studied business, intending on being a ceo of his own company someday, and his parents became consumed with his journey while leaving taehwi on his own. in high school, he secretly audtioned to become a trainee, making the trips by himself to and from school underneath the guise of study groups.

── when he was fifteen, his younger sister tae-eun was born. he wonders sometimes if it's because it's then when his parents started giving up on him, if they wanted to put their faith in another child because they had failed on him.

── inbetween school and training, taehwi had barely any time for anything else, but when he would come home, sometimes he would sit by tae-eun, and watch the way she curiously viewed the world through new eyes. he had never been able to get close to taegyeom, but with tae-eun, there seemed to be some sort of quiet understanding.

── he graduates high school, and it's then that he tells his parents he intends to continue with his idol training he had been hiding the whole time. he had been working at his grandfather's record shop for money on the weekends, and he had cherished that time with his grandfather, even bringing tae-eun there and having her listen to all of his favorite records.

── they don't take it well. they cease all further contact with him, and with taegyeom off in college already, they turn all of their attention to tae-eun. taehwi manages to find accomdations with the company, and keeps in contact with his grandfather in secret.

── he misses tae-eun the most. his parents don't let him contact her, but he manages to be able to talk to her sometimes on the phone through his grandfather, as he debuts in phoenix in 2017 after training for four years.

── taehwi keeps going for her. he wonders if she'll ever get to see him or if his parents don't even let her watch, but he holds the hope in his heart. he turns to art in the meantime, able to collect and indulge in his artistic habits without having to hide it from his parents. if he's not drawing, he's reading, usually somewhere by himself.

── he's always wearing a gold bracelet with a flower petal that tae-eun had picked encased in clear acrylic. he never takes it off.

── he skateboards sometimes, and he likes going to movie theatres in complete disguises and jumping from movie to movie all day if he has the time.

── taehwi usually doesn't like showing off his art, and singing is the one thing that he does allow others to see.

── he's always so sleepy, always nodding off in the middle of things. if he doesn't keep up with himself, he usually shows up with paint somewhere on his body that he didn't catch, charcoal on his hands, a stray colored pencil in his pocket.

     PLOTS

── someone he's found that he can sit quietly with and either listen to music, draw or read and the silence is comfortable.

── someone to skateboard/escape for a little while with!

── he's more of a listener, and he tries his best to offer advice, more so in the ways of all of the poetry and books he reads then more realistic solutions.

── someone who would sneak away with him to go and watch the sunset. taehwi does like structure, but he also doesn't mind breaking the rules. no one suspects him anyways.

── he's usually not overly competative, but there's something about your muse that makes him want to sing a little louder, dance a little harder. they've both been feeding off the energy for years, and he's grateful for the shove it usually gives him when he's feeling more down.

── your muse stumbled upon him painting once, and now that your muse has seen it, taehwi doesn't mind showing them every now and again what he's made since the last time. it takes a lot of trust to keep doing it, so it feels like something special to share.

younger of two kids, idolizes his sister kieun who’s three years older. when their parents separated, she basically gave up her own dreams of studying art to hold the family together, and kiyeon’s never stopped feeling indebted to her since. now he just wants to make sure that everything she sacrificed isn’t wasted on him

has an associate’s degree in cosmetology and would’ve liked to do more, but his parents were paying for school and they weren’t exactly big fans of his dreams -_- it sufficed tho

joined braveheart’s creative team in late 2018. he never thought he’d work for this industry but someone inspired him that year to go for it (which is an open connection if anyone’s interested!)

wanted to go into special effects makeup and wardrobe, but he’s gotten rly fond of braveheart and working for them over the last four years, so he’s happy to stay for now and maintain his hobbies on the side :I

he has a lil youtube channel on the side called THE_HORROR! he gives lil tips & tricks on special effects makeup and how he molds his own prosthetics. he also gives people horror-inspired makeovers, and that ranges from beauty makeup to turning your muse into the swamp monster. he has like 209 subscribers, it’s getting p serious.

likes maintaining his privacy, so he’s as vague about his real job as he can be. occasionally he gets a guest that raises a few eyebrows but he’s always just like Well I guess I’m just lucky! and he comes off ditzy enough that ppl believe it lmao

he’s pretty similar irl, kind of quiet with a dash of organized chaos. will say things that sound wise or mysterious but there is always a ninety percent chance he doesn’t know wtf he’s talking about either.

an only child to divorced parents! she was born in seattle to an attorney and an english teacher and grew up in the city until she was 12 and her parents divorced and her mom was awarded primary custody and decided to move them to seoul, south korea

while she was growing up in seattle, she spent most of her time with her grandparents and then, once she started going to school regularly, at after school piano lessons

she loved the piano! it was one of the few things that brought her whole family together and she loved the feeling of playing music and being on stage

was streetcast at a mall and forgot about it until a month later when someone borrowed her notebook and found the business card inside! she’s accepted because she’s pretty and personable and has a decent enough voice, but her lack of rhythm quickly catches up to her and she’s moved from idol trainee to band prospective to debuted keyboardist
