I also wanted to say... I'm very confused. If you could answer some questions for me I would be very grateful:

How many volumes/chapters are there?

Did the author rewrite/draw the first few volumes?

Is it still on hiatus? Are there any new volumes coming out?

I can never find any information online about this! I'm very new to the series, and I'll read things online thinking I've caught up, but then I'll find new chapters that I've never read/can't find anywhere... Thanks for you help!

Ahaha, I'm not surprised you need some clarification, if you don't follow all the updates closely or are new to the fandom, this series can be immensely confusing!

In terms of linear magazine chapters we're up to 36 right now. However, when MR switched magazines from Aqua to ihr HertZ they started again from Ch1. So in HertZ numbering the latest chapter is 11. (I write both numbers on my scanlations to hopefully make it clear!)

Currently 3 volumes have been released, with Vol.4 hopefully coming out this spring and Vol.5 (maybe?!) later this year.

Yes, the old Vol.1 & 2 (which were the only vols we had for yearrrrs) have been republished with brushed-up artwork, new covers, and an additional opening scene for new Vol.1 (check my master scanalation list, you can find the scene there).

This month we got our first new chapter since 2021! So it's officially off hiatus. (See no.2 for new volume info 😊)

I can tell you that every chapter published up to now, as well as Vol.3, is uploaded on this tumblr as a scanlation. Also all the doujinshi, which I really recommend reading too, because they contain so much backstory! So if you check my master post and scanlation list you'll be able to access everything that's been published! (Except the re-release Vol.1 & 2 because they have the same content as the old Vol.1 & 2 and I haven't got round to scanlating them yet. But the new opening to Vol.1 is uploaded!)

I hope this helps! If you have any more questions about timeline etc. (which is suuuuper confusing because she doesn't tell the story chronologically), just ask! I or any of our veteran fans will be happy to explain 🥰

News regarding Saezuru Ch. 45

The cover for this month's ihr HertZ magazine got revealed and unfortunately Yoneda-sensei's name isn't on it. So it seems like she's skipping this issue. The reason wasn't announced yet, but I'll keep you updated as more news come out. I just hope Sensei isn't sick or anything.

This means the release of ch. 45 is postponed till at least the end of July.

There are some who says Doumeki is being mean to Yashiro in chapter 43. But I never saw it that way...

Also I love the way his face, his eyes, his expression were drawn in the chapter cover as he looks on Yashiro.

If there is something that has not changed and will never change, that is Doumeki's care for Yashiro. He might have grown and learned the ways of this dark world but inside Doumeki is still the same. Caring, tender, gentle towards Yashiro.

BL-Themed Anime Label BLUE LYNX Announces Its First Film, Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai

    Following the teaser announcement on Tuesday, Japanese TV network Fuji TV's newly launched BL

(Boys Love)-themed anime label "BLUE LYNX" announced its first film, Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai

(Twittering Birds Never Fly) The clouds gather, based on Kou Yoneda's popular yakuza BL manga.

  The manga has been serialized in Taiyoh Tosho's bimonthly magazine ihr HertZ and has released five

tankobon volumes. The series' total print run in Japan has reached 1.4 million copies. Its English edirion

has been published by Digital Manga Publishing. The publisher introduces its story as below:

  The sexually masochistic yakuza boss, Yashiro, isn't the type to warm up to others easily. But when

Chikara Doumeki, his newly hired bodyguard, catches his interest, he reconsiders his "hands-off" policy

with subordinates. As Yashiro's invitations fail, the yakuza boss finds out his bodyguard has a very

personal reason for staying at arm's length. 

     Kaori Makida (episode director for Altair: A Record of Battles and BANANA FISH) is attached to direct

as her first feature film work, on a screenplay by Hiroshi Seko (Ajin, Mob Psycho 100). Japanese piano

trio band HZETTRIO provides its soundtrack music, GRIZZLY (Yarichin Bitch Club) works on anime

production. The film is set to be released in Japan this winter.

Hi, you said the digital version of the latest ihr HertZ will be available around August 17th or so. Can you please tell me how can I find it? Is it in the site bs-garden? I'm from Brazil and nobody is shipping the ihr Hertz to my country so I have no access to the maganize at all because even the Kindle version seems unavailable for me at Amazon. Sorry for bothering. I'm going nuts here!

Hi, I'm sorry you're having trouble purchasing the magazine from your country. If physical stores like ComiComi Studio, or Horinlovebooks (the current ihr Hertz issue is sold out on both sites unfortunately) don't ship to Brazil at the moment, which is likely because of the pandemic, and Amazon isn't an option either, you could try ebook stores that accept PayPal and/or Apple Pay like:

Bookwalker Japan

or Renta Japan (not the English site)

You can usually buy the latest three issues of the magazine before they become unavailable. Once purchased they will stay in your library without time limit though.

Please comment if you know other ways to legally purchase the ihr Hertz magazine from outside Japan. Especially if you're also from Brazil and know what works best.

The ebook of the current issue with chapter 45 will come out on August 20th.

I also saw someone left a bad review on Amazon Japan because there wasn't a postcard in their magazine. You need to order from ComiComi if you want a postcard of the cover. They're an exclusive ComiComi extra, so you never get them with Amazon orders.

Saezuru Ch. 44

The cover for this month’s ihr Hertz magazine was revealed and Yoneda-sensei’s name is on it, so we’ll definitely get a new Saezuru chapter on March 31st (with color pages because it will be the first chapter of a new volume)!

If you don’t want to search around for the magazine on your own, your best bet is probably Animate. There are several stores in Osaka. The ones in Tennoji, Kyobashi and Umeda advertise their BL sections on their websites, so you should definitely be able to buy the ihr HertZ mag there. The cover of the issue that comes out on the 30th looks like this. If you can’t find it on your own, just show the picture to the Animate staff and they will show you where it is. :)
