OH GOOD YOUVE GIVEN ME AN EXCUSE TO DISCUSS AN OC IM STILL MAKING: AGNES. i dont know her vibe fully, moreso the pitch. in a setting thats modern fantasy vibes, kinda on the edge of a national park in the states. shes a fey creature who, by extension of being fey, is in fact federally protected. this does not change that the butch park ranger (who is messily divorced & desperately misses her ex wife)(who is my sweetheart @dumpstermaster 's OC) does NOT like her. Agnes a menace and looks like the stereotype of rural (usually white) women who smoke. flip flops, bedazzled shirts that still has maybe 1 or 2 of the rhinestones, hair that was bleached nicely at some point maybe, tattoos, belly button piercing, etc. im describing at least 2 of my friends moms from high school but idk if its actually a widespread vibe, i think it is??

anyways Hank (the park ranger) is not fond of her. Agnes doesnt really give a shit. she even likes Hank! but she wont fuck with her. not cuz she doesnt want to - it would be fun! but cuz there's bigger creatures in the woods than her that've claimed Hank. so she's good, actually. she'll pass

it is absolutely petty. Agnes is just rude & a literal trickster spirit, and Hank hasn't had a singular good day in the past 15-20 years, plus the stick up his ass isn't helping matters.

yes you're totally right it's a morse code!!! it took some time to find ps file, but the morse code says: "KNIFE IN MY HAND, DESPAIR IN MY HEART, UNBEARABLE PAIN UNBEARABLE PAIN" and "unbearable pain" is repeated till the end of the text block actually i just didn't know what to put in the background lmao😭 and im gonna do lil infodumping: decision of using morse code was kinda inspired by the game oxenfree, it's awesome (there was morse code letters from one dead woman to another < who was probably her lover when she was alive. idk this is SO.)
