its really weird seeing pundits talk about t20 being the format that young people cling to and will be the outlasting format as someone who got into cricket ~6 months via test cricket
#i get it; i am new here#and maybe my love for tennis helped with my new found love for test cricket#for they are both many hours long and arguably 'slow'#but technically i am of the generation that would have grown up with t20#and i can assure you at no point did that make me want to watch cricket#it feels like saying the future of tennis is tie-break tens or the 7-game sets from the next gen finals#sure they're exciting to a point but then you get sick of it and just want normal tennis back#what im saying is if they start talking positively about tests and even one day and promoting them the same as the endless shit t20 leagues#maybe just maybe young people would like them better<3#anyway i promise i am not just a cricket blog now#im just ignoring the utter shit that is celtic fc on deadline day#lex shut up
