i still.. dont know.. how to feel abt sxf anime. the opening is ehhhhhh idk the style was kinda. out there ig. the song isnt doing it for me. the animation is fine but idk it feels a bit too much like other mainstay cloverworks shows??? like it doesnt have the feel of endo’s art style imo. like its kinda been distracting. idk i mean the manga isnt overly detailed to begin with but the anime style feels even more simplified. the pacing is iffy too like i feel like it jumpcuts in the middle of scenes n skips lines of dialogue?? like the scene outside the tailor ship is definitely one of them. 

also like. idk maybe im being picky but there are certain action shots in the manga that the anime didnt to justice at ALL like. yor kicking out to save the tray of food was by far better in still in the manga and the explosion-proposal shot was better in the manga too and like??? idk i feel like if youre gonna animate drawings that the end result, especially in scenes where thees supposed to be movement, should be better than stillframes yknow???? and so far the manga panels have consistently been better than action sequences in the anime so like. idk im gonna watch next weeks ep but like. if its not good i jus wont bother w it anymore
