Nah dude, that’s actually perfectly fine, I mean it. I’m genuinely glad there’s like 4 people who like her or find her interesting, I just legit don’t know how she’d react or process that type of relationship. I mean other than outright perishing from embarrassment, doubt, and being worried she’d be a hinderance more than a help, the only positive thing I can see overall is that she’d have her nurturing side. As repeatedly stated, if something bad happened to a person she came to care about or liked, she’ll make whoever caused the issue have an entire fist sandwich. Even though I’ve drawn OCs that kept my interest for like a week as a little kid, I still put my all into thinking up a background for them. *shrug*

I also didn’t expect that sort of response about her from anybody, let alone any at all. I also named her Penne without honestly even thinking of the pasta correlation, originally I almost went with Perogi or Pembroke (?). As for the smooch she’d literally retract into herself with the same level of violence as biting a lemon and hide forever while sputtering, but hey! She’d appreciate it in her own way… eventually! -

She is supportive and reassuring and is prime hug material, but when doing that sort of Canon x OC stuff you also have to think about any conflict and eventual (if possible depending on severity) resolution, and general domestic behavior, not singularly romantic. She may be sedentary when home and consume a massive amount of carbs (hence the thicc) but she moves like a machine behind the counter because her job demands it, it’s the take-charge side of her she doesn’t believe she has. Yes, Pal is sweet and humble, but the humbleness comes from a place lacking confidence and shame, or believing she’s auto-unlikable so she keeps it on the DL.

As for drawing character interaction, nah, I wouldn’t draw it for all of them, but you can have this!

A peek at part of a panel of the comic I sketched but I want to do better and redraw. Even though it’s platonic, I hope it creams your corn, bakes your bread, water’s your crops, or w/e…. *shrug*

If it’s one thing that bothers the shit out of me when it comes to OC x canon interaction or pairings, it’s that they’re molded with the assumption that they’re going to be friends with everybody (Snow-White-and-the-forest-animals style) and they’re all going to have a crush on the OC or something. That is cause for immediate wince and makes for some hella poor character structure because it’s so one dimensional. You along with another person teased potential friendship-or-more chemistry with her and a few characters (fucking why u guuuyz??? Also thx to the toad for being a bag of foot flakes and teasing about putting her with fake Peppino… may you be cursed to forever taste mustard no matter what you eat), which in itself is fun but doesn’t mean she’s instant friends with everyone.

I have to be clear, there would be characters she wouldn’t get along with at all, just as much as there would be ones that wouldn’t bother her in the slightest and she would regard positively. It’s also normal for characters in relationships to have debates, or disagreements. A friend/lover can do something stupid or chaotic that makes the other character question them, there can be an argument, but ultimately a healthy cool off and forgiveness is a good part of a foundation. Granted, repeat offenses and severity play a big role in whether or not a character can be forgiven, reflective of real life. Also strain can be a complicating constant in a relationship, they’re not always daisies and butterflies.

My friends: I'm going to kcon!!! How about you?? (Me: *calculates the cheapest tickets, cost to drive to LA, hotel room prices, and food for two days* isn't that like $2000??? (Them: yeah, it's not that bad. (Me: ... we don't even make that in 2 months wtf, we have bills to pay, food to buy, RENT! (Them: really?? $2000 is that much to you guys??? (Me: *disbelief bc i can't just pull 2k out of my ass!*

Also, they ask me why i can't just get a job. Well, for one, i have no experience which will make it hard to get hired over someone who does, especially in this small town. Second, i live about 20 minutes away from said town, don't have a driver's license, and my dad needs the car from 1pm-3am bc of his own (unfairly scheduled) work. Thirdly, I have major depression and anxiety, i probably won't be able to withstand the work environment even if i wanted to... being poor fucking sucks...

G O D THEY SOUND SO FRUSTRATING TO BE AROUND IM JUST LIKE SDJKFSDKF. i cant believe anyone would ever unironically utter the words ‘2000 is that much’ like yes????? yes becky it is ????? what kind of life are u living Whomst a re you  ? ? ? ? ?

kcon is also just like... a wildly expensive venture like why hte Fuck is it so much money im???? and the platinum tickets go from being expensive to just outright fucking ridiculous like 1500 dollars? for a ticket? for one single ticket??? ? u expect ppl to hand over One Thousand Five Hundred Fuckign Dollars for that??? like a ticket that cost that much better take me on a world trip across the globe buy me luxury dinners and go snorkeling with me on the private beach of a billionaire we met on our travels 

but ;;;;; im sorry friend that sounds tough. especially with ur friends who dont seem to understand thats rly ;;;; it sucks how ppl dont realize how many obstacles Exist when it comes to being poor and how many barriers there are like. u cant just start working and start Saving Up bc a) u have to use ur money to reach basic life status things before u can even think abt saving up and b) just getting a steady income is a big ass challenge sometimes. just the process of having regular transportation is difficult bc to Do That u need to have money but ur doing that in the first place to Get Money so it just ends up being like ??? it sucks dude and i know depression/anxiety makes it especially hard its just so overwhelming and exhausting. im sorry ur friends arent more understand its rly tough ahhhh ;;;;
