And Hazbin Hotel has me calling Lucifer "My Poor Little Meow Meow"
I think I like this show
#hazbin hotel#im usually SO INSANELY PICKEY about how demons and angels and lucifer etc is depicted in media#not in a westboro baptist church way but more in a stable adult who likes cartoons way#like - if I don't dig the interpretation I move on yaknow?#the number one reason i casually lost interest on blue exorcist was cause the way they tried to make the devil sympathetic was terribly done#which i think everyone agrees with tbh#but hazbin hotel is different somehow????#like#he's sympathetic and im rooting for him and he's CLEARLY meant to be a representation of the actual christian devil#gonna be thinking about this for awhile and analyzing everything i can about this show to figure out what is the magic sauce in jt#to make me genuinely care about the actual christian devil himself#when most shows that try to do it make me roll my eyes
