The first part of a comic with the tentative name "pROBaBILLity: What Are The Chances?" (now titled ImpROBaBILL Improvement), about a self-proclaimed new, improved(?) devil-may-care Rob trying to put the past behind him by making friends in everyone's new favorite interdimensional psych ward... and courting the friendship of the one other inmate patient who stubbornly resists his amiable advances. Well, that's what it's gonna be about. this is just the intro!

(this is not canon to the main fic this blog focuses on, but there is a little reference to it in there.)

the layout sketches for the upcoming part 2 of pROBaBILLity ImpROBaBILL Improvements (new title)! the dialogue won't be added until the final versions (with the exception of a few notes to remind me of stuff), but I added it to the final few panels as proof of the presence of jokes.

EDIT: I finished this! here it is, with dialogue and finished art!

Father-son bonding activity attempt one: fishing

I just finished page 1 (out of 4) of the third chapter of my Rob-&-Bill-in-the-theraprism comic! This is the full-color no-context panel from it, similar to how I shared chapter 2's full-color Rob jumpsuit image ahead of that chapter.

I messed a little with the top of the image to hide the bottoms of the panels above this one, the panel outline won't look like this in the final version.

You can read the whole thing so far at the masterpost! Part 3 is coming (relatively) soon! This panel will be a little bit glitchy in it, so consider this a clean version. Part 3 is out!

edit: crap, I forgot to add his scar here! I'll need to fix that before the release, sorry.

edit 2: It's out! Part 4 is officially finished! It'll be out in a short while. As has been custom for the last two parts, here's a preview: this chapter's full-color panel! (So this preview post can serve its purpose I'll be putting an intentional gap between it and the actual release).

Part 4 will be added to the masterpost when it comes out., as well as released in its own dedicated post.

I'm going to do some more work on Part 4 of my ImpROBaBILL Improvements comic today. Here are the layout sketches for part 2 and 3 for those who didn't see them originally!

This will act as a masterpost for all the early sketch versions and will be updated with each new chapter. Read the finished version at the masterpost here if you want (if this post is your first exposure to Improbabill)!

Inking and typesetting done for page 1. The other pages don't fall into my comic-making routine, being whole spreads from the dream journal, so I'm still sort of thinking about where to start on the finished versions of those.
