Really my only beef about ‘We Take a Zebra to Vegas’ was the lack of zebra. Like, that it literally the scene where Percy discovers he can talk to horses! Even a cameo! Otherwise the title dormant even make sense. :(((

playing fallout new vegas and having to listen to caesar complaining about travelling and getting to study the languages of various communities living in the wasteland and calling it a waste of time while irl the humanities are constantly disregarded and getting a higher education and opportunities to study anthropology hands-on costs tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars and requires so many connections and he was just getting that FOR FREE from the followers but that wasnt cool enough for him so he decided to use the education he was given to start his little fascist larper group and enslave people

I like the lore you find on terminals in fallout because it’s not always about the main storyline or characters and is just to paint the picture of “Yeah, people were fucked up and doing crazy shit even before the bombs fell and it’s honestly surprising they didn’t destroy the world sooner.”

They were poking the bear before the war but the stick was like massive and on fire and so was the bear and so were they.

ultimately inconsequential but big pet peeve of mine when it comes to bethesda fallouts: naming. so many npcs don't have names, or don't have first & last names. every human companion in fnv has a first and last name. a lot of minor characters have first and last names! and a lot of characters have fun names that tell you something about them - ranger ghost, arcade gannon, calamity, fantastic, most of the legion guys tbh. meanwhile you can sleep with cait and danse without ever learning their last/first names.
