ok! so. kantarou's part of paradox live which i am sure youve witnessed me freaking out about for. months now. basic premise is that each of the main characters are performers, and each of them have a metal object called a Phantom Metal. When used the phantommetal can summon up an illusion to accompany the user's music, but at the cost of them having to suffer through a Trap Reaction, being forced to relive their worst trauma.

Kantarou is part of Visty! a 4 (formerly 5 but i'll get into that later) member idol group. Other members are Shogo (blue, voiced by yoshiki nakajima of tetora nagumo enstars fame), Touma (yellow/green, voiced by kashitarou ito who is an utaite! his voice is really nice check out his covers!!), and Aoi (purple, voice by Aimi of kasumi toyama Bandori fame!!) ive seen that youve looked in the tag so you probs know what they look like but i'll still the members + their phantom illusions here (left to right is kantarou, touma, shogo, aoi)

We don't know the visty members' trap reactions bc they were part of the second round of characters added to the franchise but to be concise: Kantarou's entire thing is that he needs attention or he'll die (/half joke). His character tag line is "Rapper who's devoted to SNS and addicted to likes", and we're first introduced to him through his cutesy persona that he uses to get more people to like him and be popular. like i said, we don't have the actually trap reaction details yet but we do have hints. here are his

yea. he is also visty's current track maker after their previous center left, so that's another reason for his popularity complex.

fun fact! With the release of the most recent fanbook, each character has gotten an official favorite and least favorite food. Kantarou's was:
