His head cocked to the side when the snake’s head moved towards his ear, and he paused for a few seconds, his eyes flickering over to them. “She says that you’re putting her on edge. it wasn’t as if he had been spying  (  he had definitely been spying  )  -  it was more along the lines of him being bored. and when daehyun was bored, especially when out in PUBLIC, he tended to find himself falling into a habit of people watching. sometimes it could be entertaining, sometimes even more boring, and sometimes it would be enough for him to accost an innocent civilian and throw them under the bus because of what he saw. there is no shame on his features as he approaches them, looking as if he’s BORED with the scenario already, but that glint in his eyes gave way to the mischief creeping through him, “don’t think i didn’t see that.” daehyun quips out, slow grin forming as his hands hook behind his head comfortably and casually, “in public, too? scandalous.”

“don’t you know the rules?” the grumble come from deep in her chest, the youthful looking woman not even close to be ready to deal with any interactions after this latest case ended. she had the scratches on her hands and arms and the cut on her cheek to prove she’d done just as she had always done....went head first into danger without a care for anyone else. the perp had gotten away because someone had made a big deal about her and she was bitter ---- that’s why she was four shots deep into a twenty minute visit...and it wasn’t nearly enough. “I need at least 30 minutes and 10 shots....I’m not ready to talk yet.”

“is it bad I know your regular drink?” seol teases, carefully making sure that she mixes the others usual to a kind of perfection that she holds herself too --- the tiny yet bright female sliding the glass to the person whom she’s already clocked as one of her regulars. there are hundreds of faces that come in and out of the bar during the week but she pays special attention to those whom find themselves at the bar top more often than not. remembering and treating people well got you good tips and she needed them. “here you go! are you having a good night so far, honey?”
