I had a great time at the @koldinggetdown today at the @koldinggraff to paint my "VIDE MERE KNOW MORE" work (not a tag). The music was great, the company was fantastic to talk to about Kolding's history and funny enough, my work was added to hours after I went home for dinner! In Danish "Vide mere." is grammatically awkward but serves as a working translation of know more (my mistake, as it is a third language I am learning). After returning to where I painted, I believe a Danish tagger wrote "END DIG" meaning "than you" in English, however they wrote "then" instead, either by mistake or intentionally for some reason. The outcome wasn't what I expected at all, but it's an anonymous 🇨🇦 and 🇩🇰 creative exchange that I like. . . . #knowmore #videmere #danskengelsk #danishenglish #translated #translation #påengelsk #indanish #bilingual #bilingualgrafitti #twolanguages #koldinggraffiti #koldinggraff #koldingkunst #koldingart #lostintranslation #funintranslation #readbetweenthelines #graffittiday #graffitiday #graffittiparty #graffitiparty #igdaily #instadaily #layout #instalayout (at Kolding, Denmark) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwfWa3WhCwa/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=esomwz7espul

Julie Andem Radio Interview
Okay so I couldn’t find any translated transscriptions of todays interview with Julie on danish P1, so here goes. Keep in mind I’m danish, and she speaks norwegian, but I think I got it all.
Julie and Mari are part of the fb group kossegruppa DK, and follows the fan theories. Julie explains why she likes the group:
They are so nice to each other. There is a good atmosphere and there are not many conflicts.
Julie about SKAM tourism (Danes who go to oslo):
*They laugh* During the last recordings of season 3, we stood in the schoolyard, as we had done 100 times before. And then suddenly buses and cars arrive, and out comes Denmark with cameras and tour guides to see us work. We had never heard of it before. It is completely absurd and hard to relate to. It is very touching that they want to see it.
Interviewer: I've talked to six people who met each other on kossegruppa DK, who went to Oslo together. They met each other on the facebook group and did not know each other when they went to Oslo. 2 boys aged 18 and 19 years and 4 women between 36 and 44. What do you think about that?
We love it. It is awesome. It is more than we could wish for, that the show builds friendships and bonds across generations.
Questions from a fan: How does choice of the general themes of the show (last season homosexuality, religion and mental illness), effect the worldwide success?
The core themes are character driven and the characters are developed around specific themes. There are some ideas and biased believes on these themes (homosexuality and mental illness) that we want to challenge and discuss. The characters are created in such way, that their natural story challenges all these ideas and questions.
Question from a fan: How do you work with the music, what comes first scene or the music?
It is both. Sometimes music comes after manus, and other times before manus. For example, in season 1 where Noora confronts William in the schoolyard. That is based on the song by Kelis. The scene was directly inspired by the song. Like that was how I saw Nooras attitude in that scene. Something which is also much talk about is Nils Bech. For the Christmas scene in season 1, I heard the song a lot because I needed Christmas music for the season finale. I heard the song and thought it was absolutely fantastic. And then when I was finished with season 1, I all of a sudden had a lot of pictures of Isak in my head, and I knew this was the turning point scene for season 3. And it had to be O'Helga Natt, and I love Nils Bech so I asked if he wanted to make a version of O'Helga Natt. And because he is gay, and I thought that if I can connect homosexuality, religion and mental illness in one scene at the turning point it would all be lifted to a higher level.
Link for the interview. It is indanish/norwegian:
