I'd marry Miruko in a heartbeat. Manual is a definite yes. Tensei is the best big bro and I believe he deserves more recognition for it. Yoichi holds my heart and I want to hug him every time I see him. If Rock Lock and his wife is looking for a third, I'm here for it. Ms. Joke makes me laugh, I would not mind sitting with her and hearing her jokes all day.

Finally had a chance to finish detailing the frames for these two @sanctus-ingenium prints I got a while ago!! (breakdown of the process under cut)

The original frames were just a flat, plain black and white. So the first step was spray painting them neutral gray primer, then with a black, faux "hammered" paint. Once that was dry, it was doing the subtle, gray fillegree/detailing on the front and sides with acrylic paint (freehanding it initially for the Pantera-themed frame, then getting smart about it and making stencils for Leun's (it went much faster)). Next was cutting out the cardstock, coloring them with alcohol markers, and detailing with microns and white ink. Trying to mimic the headpieces of each Holy Beast for the tops of the frames with some reference to their element in the side bits. Flowing acid for Leun and a smoke for Pantera's flames (which I think could have been pushed a litle more and I may redo one day). Each part is typically a double layer of cardstock for a smidge of depth, but Leun's headpiece ended up being three. Then it was just using double sided tape to attach big pieces, and gluing all the smaller, fiddly-bits. Overall, I like how they turned out. Still might redo Pantera's to up the color's contrast to better match Leun's.

Every day I'm more and more convinced of Stain's stupidity. How did he take one look at this man and said "this is the one man I need to take down because he's not doing true hero work"????????

Any time I read someone describing the ideal hero to them, that's Tensei. That's freaking Iida Tensei. He doesn't care about anything but getting the hero job done, which means preserving as many lives as he can, lessening the damage, catching the bad guys and in general keeping life peaceful.

Stain decided to nerf the best example of a real pro-hero out there while defending that he was doing so to bring back the real ideal of heroism.

Man, Stain is insufferable. He makes zero sense.

Very bad things.

The Greyhound Circle was nothing more than a club of Alderhill's most staunchly anti-fairy residents at the time (the 60's). They genuinely believed that if they braved the wilderness to figure out how their enemy ticked, they could purge a good swath of fairies from the woods in the name of safety. They were wrong. So wrong in fact, that most of their members never escaped the Hill, and the few that made it out alive never set foot in the forest again.

The conflict they stirred went unbeknownst to the village, but the impact it had on the Hill and her people made history. Even with their small headcount they cleaved a brutal wound through the fairies' domain. And it cleaved through them in turn. On both sides things have undoubtedly changed, but only the Hill's people remember.
