holy shit it’s about to get so real over here, guys. alright so i’ve known wardo for a pretty long time now and he’s kinda sorta my best friend, right? and shit there’s like a whole lotta golden material that we’ve worked up over the years, right? like i could have opened up with how we met and really built it up, y’know? i could tell you all about how he pulled me down an alleyway and pressed me up against a wall and really make him out to be some kinda weirdo sex pest. i’m not gonna do that though ‘cause, for one night only, i’m not gonna be a total asshole. wardo’s been with me through so much, like… not to be a nerd or nothing but he’s literally been the most consistent part of my life… well, ever. i was thrown to the side like i never mattered, not just once but constantly, and i never had a family. all i ever wanted growing up was a family, someone that made me feel important, and like i had a place. wardo gave that to me, y’know? like yeah yeah i get it, we’re all rolling our eyes and laughing ‘cause i’m being all sappy and whatever, but i mean it. wardo’s the only family i’ve ever known, and in turn he gave me CJ too, and i dunno what i’d do without him. i’m so lucky, guys. i’ve got your back always, man. you’re my brother, and you know i’d support our dumb ass through anything. so, like, happy birthday, @wardowrites. i llove you, dude. thanks for existing and shit. (p.s this photo was taken at the park ‘cause a bird pooped on louis’ hair and we wanted to document the moment. it was beautiful, a day we will never forget.)

i just went to look at some stats to check up on latts and ... wow, he's angry as always, went two games without penalties and now he's averaging a good 7 minutes in the sin bin. my fav is this penalty against chicago: Double minor - Head-butting (attempt) - he got an assist that game though ... ah i miss him 😭 😭 😭

Jesus fuck. I keep up with him too but I didn’t realize how bad it was. It makes me sad. That quote that’s like “If you want me to bleed for you, I will bleed for you.” Like the other day I went to compare him and Tom’s fights but even in the AHL (for his short stint) Tom had more fights but I think Latts is giving him a run for his money. Also. Fuck the Hawks organization for doing this to him. 😭 I downloaded the AHL app literally just to keep up with him, but it only tells you when a player scores or assists, not draws a penalty. It’s fucking frustrating. I hate it. You know if they call him up, they’re doing it just to make him fight, and I don’t think I could stomach him fighting for this organization at all.

(Also lowkey same about the head butt penalty) but it also pisses me off because he’s putting himself at risk for concussions and CTE for an organization who will just expect violent things from him. While he has racked more assists (and even a goal) in his short stint already with Rockford than he did with Ontario, I still hate what they’re making him do especially putting his body at risk for an organization who won’t do the equal for him.

And you can *tell* he misses the Caps. God, he misses the Caps. Do you ever see other traded players talk like they do to their ex team (other than Brooks Laich)? Rarely. He post pics when Ovi gets his milestone and when Tom or Andre have important things and when he went to San Jose and met up with Wardo and facetimed Tom and he comments on insta live feeds and so many other things. It’s so fucking heartbreaking.

(Sorry this turned into me like ranting. I love him so much and I want the best for him, and this isn’t it. When you have a Blackhawks fan sad and scared for him after the trade was announced, you know something is wrong (my friend Kate btw).) I hope this makes sense. I just woke up and this is the first thing I see and I have a lot of feelings about him.
