Instagram 👏 just 👏 stole 👏 TikTok's 👏 best 👏 feature ⁣ ⁣ They want you making creative, raw, authentic, fun, content⁣ ⁣ I’m super excited about this feature. ⁣ ⁣ TechCrunch has stated that “Reels allows users to create and post short, 15-second videos set to music or other audio, similar to TikTok.” This is a direct attack on the TikTok explosion over the last year and a half where TikTok picked up a billion users.⁣ ⁣ It will also have it’s own space in the app similar to IGTV, which is freakin huge!⁣ ⁣ And I wouldn’t bet against Facebook either. Week 4: Is Blogging Still Relevant In The Age of TikToks and Instagram?

What precisely is it that you do when you blog? Is it true that blogging is no longer an option? Will blogging sites continue to be used or become obsolete when so many famous social network platforms are becoming more and more advanced? But, before we get into the specifics, are you familiar with the term Blogging, TikToks and Instagram?

WHAT IS BLOG? WHY BLOGGING?

Actually, blog is only an acronym for the term 'weblog', which refers to a type of web-based communication and publication that has gained in popularity since its launching at the end of the nineties. They disseminate their content in many ways, such as informal diary-style entries on their informational websites (Minaev 2021).

Blogs are frequently just a plain web pages on the Internet. Older posts may be found elsewhere on the site, and there may be a separate page with contact information or a profile, but the blog is usually simply a single page that can be read through, similar to the news feed on social media sites like Instagram and Facebook (Duermyer 2021).

Many people creates blogs as a way to express and share their ideas. When someone is enthusiastic about anything, he or she wishes to share that enthusiasm with others. Ones may use blogging to share their interests, whether they are in cooking, baking, or photography. Based on Minaev (2021), you may connect with people all around the globe who speak your language and share your interests by writing a blog about something you are passionate about. In addition, people write blogs to disseminate information. A blog is a great way for someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge with those who are interested in what they know. As you create materials for sharing on your blog, you may realise that there is a possibility to modify your blog by producing educational services or goods online. According to Dekmezian (2015), blogging is a fantastic way for freelance writers and prospective authors to build an online portfolio by showcasing their writing skills on large sites with broad reach. Freelancers may grow their visibility and attract new clients this way.

TIKTOKS AND INSTAGRAM

Based on Statista Research Department (2021), the use of social media is growing more and more commonplace in the modern day. Instagram and TikToks are the most popular social media sites for sharing daily posts and interests such as food and travel. There are now 1,386 million Instagram users and 732 million TikToks users worldwide.

The popularity of this social media sites are undeniable in today's society. It is developing into a platform where people may enhance their social networking skills and interact with others from all around the world, and it is getting more popular. In today's world, there are a larger number of people who are aspiring to become artists and influencers on both Instagram and TikToks. As a result of their large followers on social media, these individuals get money through advertising.

To Conclude...

Comparing Instagram and TikToks to Blog, I believe they all serve the same goal but in a somewhat different way from one another. Blogging is still significant now and will continue to be so in the future. Bloggers will attract readers and writers that share a passion for the written word. In order to do their study, most students want access to a variety types of material and a blog provides that.

Women championing women! On Monday, February 17, Sofia Richie took to Instagram to show Rita Ora’s sexy new bikini photo some well-deserved love. “Yes, bodddddy,” the 21-year-old commented. 

In the sizzling snapshot, Rita, 29, is rocking a tiny, black swimsuit in her backyard. “Enjoy your life. Please. Protect your heart and be proud of YOU,” the “Girls” singer wrote. A powerful message from an important lady … We stan!  Of course, Sofia’s comment wasn’t the only high praise Rita received.

“Step on me,” popular DJ Diplo joked (but, like, not really). “The body on you is unreal,” one fan gushed. “You are absolutely stunning, Rita!” added another. “Literally speechless,” a third user chimed in, while a fourth echoed, “Are you kidding?! So gorgeous.”

Based on Rita’s recent posts, it looks like the 50 Shades of Grey actress is all about self-care in 2020. On February 14, she shared an emotional message after undergoing surgery. “So, these past two weeks. I underwent a tonsillectomy and let me tell you, it’s no joke. It’s SO painful, but on the plus side, it’s given me time to reflect, relax and heal. It’s a blessing to be able to heal in peace and put everything into perspective and visualize the rest of your year and what’s coming or what you want to achieve,” Rita began, along with posting a video of her painting. 

“I am such a believer in setting intentions into the universe, as it DOES listen. Also, learning new things has always been an obsession of mine,” she continued. “I’m not Monet by any means, but I damn sure like some color. So, I made some affordable, quick V-day cards for the ones I love.”
