9/6 Writing Journal

When reading the Primary Care Clinic article I was extremely surprised to say the least. I never knew healthcare and writing can be linked whatsoever. Usually when one thinks about healthcare they associate it with medicine and other stuff like doctors visits and surgery. However as I kept reading the article I started realizing how treating major diseases and sicknesses comes down to writing as one of the first steps. For example every time somebody visits a doctor the very first thing they look up is your medical records to view your past medical history. Currently as a Biology major this article really applied to me. I hope to get into the pharmaceutical sales industry and writing is a big part of it as far as medical sales go. Overall I really enjoyed this article and its taught me a lot on how writing and the medical industry are linked.     

I posted a picture of a doctor writing on a clipboard because I felt it really conveyed the overall message of the story. I chose a visual multimodal mode.
