reading no man’s land is just like. i want to track down a lawyer who specializes in constitutional law and have them react to this
#yes yes yes i know suspension of belief but i do like thinking abt the fact that cutting off gotham from the rest of the country after a#massive earthquake that kills hundreds of thousands. like that’s. that’s gotta be a crime against humanity or something man i don’t know#irs just fascinating. Bc then there’s also an aspect that i don’t quite believe and that’s that ppl aren’t….. upset abt it?#i’m not far in so i don’t know the time scale of like when the earthquake hit and when the government cut their losses#and i suppose if there was a reasonable amount of time between each and a lot of ppl were able to leave#like if the government was like we’re blowing the bridges in 10 hrs etc etc that kind of thing#but i mean even then it’s like. Not everyone can leave#so it’s like. what about those people. and then the ones who don’t have the means to do so. ya know what i mean#again i know suspension of belief but idk sometimes the way gotham and the People are talked abt makes me uncomfy 😭#so i’m just.
