#is evil!!!’ is so goofy to me like how do u function in the world if you cannot find humor or nuance in anything at all??
Text
hot take but i think people in general need to lighten up about other characters in a story hating on/doing something bad to their favorite character. for instance, i am a joy stan till i die but there is undeniable humor in her getting roasted within an inch of her life by amber and the like.

so @leafwateraddict have me some ideas about ship children for the og LV triangle.
I don't really like ship children but like I don't mind making goofy fanon hypothetical scenarios.
I mean y/n does have seal babies in my ocean au. I thought it'd be a fun shitpost.
head canons below cut.
since y/n is gender queer and can be any gender (male or female, trans or cis, enby or anything beyond) I've decided I don't want to involve pregnancy.
it's just with souls.
Tumblr media
anyways. so the souling is just there chilling but when it starts to mature and manifest a transparent physical form it starts dying cuz monster forms can't handle determination.
it's why there's never been a hybrid in history. cuz well... humans and monsters souls don't mix.
so like crimson uses their vessel to stabilize the souling. they're an exception to this worlds laws so their inherent nature is the glue needed to mix magic and DT.
it now has three parents. it's 10 percent god/anomaly. 10 percent human. 10 percent monster... and 70 percent dormant exp and LV condensed into a passive lil squishy bean.
crimson holding the child like the lion king: "I have birthed the antichrist. holy shit they're stats are crazy! who's a good strong baby? yesh you are. yesh you are. you're going to be a natural disaster wen u grow up aren't you? THEY INHERITED MY STATS! FUCK YEAH! I CAN'T WAIT TI SEE THIS LIL DEVIL GROW UP TO KICK ASS!"
Tumblr media
and then the two snatch the child away from crimson cuz they're a fucking horrible (low-key abusive) parent that just... doesn't understand tenderness. (they're kinda like hand plates gaster lol 😂)
like it's not their fault they don't really understand how to love something for what it is instead of what it can be used for... or just focus on the new "perfect hybrid" like it's a work of art or a perfect specimen from an experiment...
but the child does have two loving parents that will kick crimson's ass whenever they're bothering da bebe.
anyways dust throws crimson out the window.
dust and crimson would argue over who's LV corrupted the child whenever they do something bad. (somewhere away from the kid. they never argue Infront of them.)
"excuse me!? THAT'S YOUR LV SIR. MY LV ONLY HAS PURE JOY. THE KIDS CRYING BECAUSE THEY INHERITED YOUR DEPRESSION LV."
while y/n has not one but three people to take care of. (they need a break)
it's like... a functional dysfunctioning family 😂.
as for the ship child. they're kinda like unprocessed uranium. it's not dangerous by itself.
so like they have the potential to be a world ending calamity but that doesn't mean they WILL.
sure they have an inherent talent in combat n stuff but if they grow up with love and safety? it's just like any other kid.
there's no "evil urge" they have to fight off. their magic just might be hard to control and unstable.
they might actually go become a healer or a doctor! develop green magic and follow their own passion regardless of their soul being basically a dormant LV condensed hellfire.
like... two of their parents might be world ending serial killers but like... that's not how genes work. you don't inherit your parents wrong doings. just a bit of their looks personality and like... maybe neurodivergency.
if they become evil later? nothing to do with how the kid will turn out.
it depends on how the child is raised. and with dust around drowning them in all the affection he can give I wouldn't worry about them turning out like crimson XD.

Tumblr media
You were lost without him. You hated it, but it was the truth. You had no idea how to function without him to guide you.
It was your undoing, your need for him. You had finally freed yourself from his grasp, yet you wanted him so badly. He still controlled you. From miles away, he was able to manipulate you. Hovering over your shoulder, waiting to take you again.
He would come eventually, you knew better than to believe otherwise. It was just you didn’t want him to. He ruined you, to the point of no return. The scars he left would never heal, staying to remind you of everything he put you through. To tell you that you could never do that to yourself again.
It hurt you too much.
You couldn’t let your guilt get the better of you. He was a monster an you were better without him.
He was your ending, but also your beginning. After him your life was reset to begin anew. You could finally breathe, smile or cry. It didn’t mean it wouldn’t make you feel guilty, though.
You spend the next week texting Chanyeol. It could be about anything and he would find a way to spark conversation with you. You thought it was sweet that he wanted to talk to you so badly, but you never knew how to respond.
Lily had told you that you were all he ever talked about anymore. “He has a little crush,” she joked. “I swear, it feels like we’re in the fifth-fucking-grade.” She pulled at her hair in frustration.
“You still are, sweetie.”
She scowled at you before continuing her rant. “He keeps asking me about you, what you’re like, things you’re into. I can’t take it anymore.” She turned to you and took your hands in hers. “Please, just go out with him. I beg of you.”
You escaped her loose grasp. “I think I’m good.”
She rolled her head to the side, grunting at your answer. “You know what? Fine, I give up.” Resting her elbows on the table, she held her head in her hands. “I’ll just dig myself a grave.”
“Now you know how I feel when I think about you.”
Lily shot up, her mouth dropping and her hand coming to her chest. “You hurt me.”
“Ah, well. What can ya do?”
“Go out with Chanyeol.” Lily raised her head and gave you puppy eyes.
“Lily, you know how I am about those things,” you brushed her off, trying to get off the topic.
“I know,” she sighed, looking to the floor. “I just hate seeing you so sad. I saw you talking with Chanyeol, you looked cute together. And he’s mad for you.”
“I wouldn’t say that. We have only talked in person once.”
“That was enough for him.”
You had to admit, you did like talking with him. How you felt free to say anything, but it was only a first impression and those can be deceiving.
You hadn’t done anything all day when you got the message from Chanyeol. You didn’t have to work or do anything productive. It was like most days. Scrolling through your computer, looking at the blissful lives others lived. You always wondered how someone could be so happy, how did they look past all the evils in the world.
You saw photos of people you used to know. People who once cared for you. People he he took you from.
Your phone buzzing pulled you from your computer. Bringing your attention to the lit-up screen.
FROM CHANYEOL [17:17]: are u busy right now
TO CHANYEOL [17:19]: not really
TO CHANYEOL [17:20]: may i ask why
FROM CHANYEOL [17:20]: it’s a surprise
TO CHANYEOL [17:21]: i hate those
FROM CHANYEOL [17:22]: just get ready and come outside
You hadn’t seen Chanyeol since that night at his house. You missed him in some way. Everything your phone went off you wished it was him, saying some lame joke that made you roll your eyes.
Despite what you said to Lily, you wanted so see him again. See his goofy smile and his dark red hair. He had been all you could think about, clouding your mind. Yet, you didn’t know how to feel about Chanyeol. He was attractive, for sure, but you couldn’t decide of you were attracted to him that way.
TO CHANYEOL [17:22]: okay fine, give me a minute
You put your phone down and threw on a pair of jeans and an over-sized sweatshirt. You thought it would be a safe bet as Chanyeol didn’t tell you anything about what you’d be doing.
You rushed out the door, making your way down the hall to the elevator. When on the main floor, you walked outside to find Chanyeol waiting for you.
He was leaning on the side of his car, arms crossed, lips turning upward when he saw you. You let out a giggle at the gesture, bringing your hand to your face to cover the redness rising in your cheeks. “M’lady,” he joked, pretending to tip a non-existent hat while opening the door for you.
You pushed his shoulder as you got into the passenger seat. “You’re an idiot, I hope you know that.”
“Ouch, well I do now.” He closed the door and walked around the front of the car, getting in the driver’s seat.
“So, where are we going?”
He started the car and turned to you. “I thought I said it was a surprise?” You huffed at the question looking out the window as he drove out of the parking lot.
“You did, I just hate them and need to know,” you retorted.
“Ah I see. No patience in you.”
“Not a drop.” You raised your head in the air, while giving a grin.
“I’m afraid you’ll just have to wait.”
You could feel yourself growing more restless by the second. You hated being surprised, due to the surprises you usually got meant a new scar added to your already flawed skin. You would like to think that Chanyeol wasn’t that kind of guy.
You stayed silent for the majority of the ride. Just staring out the window, watching as the world moved past your eyes.
“You look cute today,” he said as you walked into the kitchen. You had decided on a floral sundress with a low back for your date. You spent so much time finding the perfect one for him and was glad he noticed.
Your cheeks heated up at his compliment, a smile coming to your lips. “Thank you,” you blushed as you spun in a circle to show off the dress. “I picked it just for you.” You walked to where he was sitting and kissed him on his cheek.
When you turned to walk away he grabbed your wrist and pulled you back to him, bringing you to his lap. The hold hurt a little, but you didn’t think much of it. “It seems a bit short, though. Can’t have anyone else looking at you.” His hold on your wrist got tighter and you whined in pain. He noticed your whine and cut you off by connecting his lips to yours.
You became consumed by the kiss, forgetting the pain in your wrist. Lost in his soft lips, his tongue as it slid into your mouth, feeling it come to your throat. He was hot against you. His hands burned your skin and his moved them down your arms to your legs.
He ran his fingers up your thighs, inching closer and closer to your core. You moaned into his mouth as he caressed your inner thigh. You felt yourself becoming undone as he teased you. He loved having power over you, making you beg before he would ever pleasure you.
His fingers played with the edge of you underwear, pulling at the fabric and slapping it back against your sensitive skin. He knew you liked it by the way you kissed him harder.
Your hands held his shoulders as you rolled your hips over him, trying to get him to continue. You felt him start to grow underneath you, but he didn’t react to it. You buried your face in his neck, kissing him gently as to not to leave marks.
He hated it when you did, only he was allowed to mark you. You were his and he wanted people to know, his pretty doll that only he could play with.
He took your actions as a sign of wanting more and pulled his hand from between your legs. “Please,” you pleaded, hoping he would give you the touch you so desperately desired. He raised his eyebrows and nodded for you to continue. “I need to feel you.”
“Good girl.” With that, he pushed the fabric that covered you to the side and dipped two fingers in. You wanted to scream about how good he made you feel. The way he filled you up. How he knew every part of you like the back of his hand.
You rode his fingers, edging his along as he lead you to your end. He touched your sweet spot, causing your to cry out. “Please, more,” you breathed, wanting him to finish you off. But, he didn’t, he pulled his fingers from you, leaving you out of breath and aching for release.
“You know the rules, little one.” You pouted at his answer. You did know the rules, there were set the first time you spent together and were meant to be followed.
“Please, baby.” You ran your hands through his dark hair and kissed him on the collarbone.
He pushed you away and got up from the chair, patting down on his pants. “We have a date.”
“Do we have to go?”
“Yes. Now, change that dress.”
“Whatcha thinkin about?” Chanyeol’s voice took you from your memory, bringing you back to the car.
“Oh, just where we might be going,” you lied.
“Any ideas?”
“None good enough.”
He laughed at your comment. “Well, we’re almost there.”
It was dark by the time Chanyeol pulled into a long drive, which seemed to lead to some sort of building. As your got closer, you saw a bright neon sign reading ‘Drive-In’. You giggled to yourself at where he decided to take you. “Is this a drive-in?”
He didn’t look at you, keeping his eyes locked on the road. “Um, yeah, Lily told me you really like movies. So, I thought-”
“You asked Lily what I liked?” You asked the question even though you knew the answer. You liked watching him squirm in embarrassment.
You noticed redness rising in his cheeks at the question, his hands tightening around the wheel as he searched for what to say. “Pht, no…” He looked at you and saw that he was caught. “Fine, I might have.”
“I think it’s cute.”
“Just cute? I thought I was more on the sexy side,’ he joked, flipping hair that didn’t exist, causing you to roll your eyes.
Before you could respond he drove up to the ticket booth. He rolled down the window and handed the man in the booth a twenty. “Two for number one.” The man nodded his head and handed Chanyeol a piece of paper.
“Just turn your radio to this station and enjoy your show.” The man forced a smile to his face and motioned for Chanyeol to continue on down the driveway.
“Someone really loves their job,” Chanyeol said as he drove to the screen marked as one. The place was empty, but that was expected for a Sunday night.
“Clearly.” Chanyeol drove around, looking for a parking spot. “What about that one?” You pointed to an open spot in the middle of the lot.
“That one’s great.” He pulled into the spot and shut off the car. “Snacks?”
“I like the sound of that.”
Both of you got out of the car and started to walk to the concession building. You got view of a small park just outside of the building. It consisted of a swing set and a slide, not much of a park really.
You felt a tap on your shoulder and turned to see Chanyeol’s eyes locked to the swings. “Could we?”
You were confused for a second before nodding in agreement. “Sure.”
Chanyeol took your hand and pulled you with him to the swings. He sat on the one on the right, while you took the one on the left. You held onto the chains and swung your legs under you . You kept a slow pace, moving your legs back and forth. Chanyeol followed your lead and kept the pace as well.
You loved the calm in the moment. The only noise the creaking of the chains as each of you swung. There was a stillness in the air. One that held so much within it.
You liked Chanyeol, his company, the way he made you laugh, how he always found a way to smile. You could see that now.
You wanted to hate him, so you didn’t have to admit you felt something for him. This little part of you screaming out for him. You didn’t want to admit it was there. Keep going on with your life and not having to worry about anything.
You weren’t ready for that yet. Not after what he did to you. You were still so damaged and broken you didn’t know what it meant to care for someone in that way. Chanyeol made it easy. The more time you spent with him, the more you fell for him. You felt safe with him.
You didn’t even have to say anything. You could tell but the way your heart skipped a beat when you saw him smile or how you were lost for words when he stared at you.
“A decent surprise?” You faced Chanyeol in the swing beside you. His red hair covered his eyes as it blew in the slight wind he created by swinging. His lips creeped upward into a small smile.
“Yes.”
He hummed in curiosity. “Ah, so you do like surprises.”
Huffing and shaking your head, you looked back to where he had parked. “No, but I’ll give you this one.” You moved your gaze back to him. “What are we seeing anyway? I didn’t get to see what’s playing.”
“Another surprise.”
You leaned over in the swing and playfully slapped him on the shoulder. “C’mon, Chanyeol.”
He rubbed his shoulder, pretending to be hurt. “And, ruin the anticipation. No way.”
You tilted your head down and batted your eyelashes at him. “Pretty please.”
He stuck his index finger in the air and leaned back in the swing. “No, no, no. That’s not fair.” Chanyeol crossed his arms and looked off in the distance. “I won’t fall for your games.”
Your back shot up straight. “Games? I don’t play games.”
He turned his head to you, his mouth dropped open and his eyebrows furrowed. “The night of the party? I saw what you were doing.”
You weren’t following along with what he was saying. “I wasn’t doing anything.”
“Oh sure, miss ‘I never thought you did’. Shameless flirting.” He leaned in closer to you, his face almost touching yours. “I see right through you.”
You leaned for face in a little closer, your legs barely touching the ground as you tried hold the swing in place. “Are you sure about that?” You squint your eyes as you watched a smile come to his lips. His perfectly smooth, pink lips.
“Oh, I’m sure. I can tell what you’re thinking right now.” Nodding his head, he placed a hand on his thigh to keep his balance.
“And, that is?” You raised an eyebrow, raising the edge of your lip.
“Right now? You want to kiss me,” he stated, confident in his answer.
You scoffed at the answer, looking down to the ground as to avoid his burning gaze. “No, I-”
You were cut off by the feeling of his lips hitting yours. Your eyes widened at the touch, not completely realizing what was happening.
They were just as you imagined, soft and full and warm. Chanyeol brought his hand up to your cheek, cupping it in his hot palm. He touch was gentle and oddly comforting against your skin. You leaned further into him, holding on the the chain of his swing to keep you close to him.
His scent filled your senses, bringing you into a dream where you are the only two people in the world. Nothing else mattered in that moment other than the feeling of his lips on yours, his hand on your face.
Chanyeol pulled away from you without warning, letting his swing sway from side to side. Steadying it, he shook his head, running his hand through his messy hair. “I’m sorry.”
You hadn’t kissed anyone since him. You never felt anything for anyone other than him. It felt wrong to like Chanyeol the way you did. Like you were betraying the one you used to love. The one who used to love you.
The heat in your cheeks was prominent as you tried to bring yourself to reality about what had happened. You ran your finger over your bottom lip, coming to terms about what you did. But, it wasn’t that you did it that bothered you.
It was that you liked it.
His hold on your wrist was so tight you felt it bruising under his palm. You whined at the pain, wanting him to let go. Twisting your arm under his, he only held it tighter. “Please, let go. It hurts.”
He didn’t listen, continuing to pull you from the restaurant. You tried to pull yourself from him, leaning back and weighing him down. The attempt didn’t faze him. Lost in his own anger, he stormed through the parking lot.
Seeing that nothing was working, you gave up. Not wanting to make a scene, you followed him to the car and took your spot in the passenger seat.
Knowing you were in your place, he took his in the driver seat. You knew what was coming. Tensing your body for the impact, you curled up and held your hand to your chest.
The slap burned your cheek, leaving a dark red mark on your skin. You cried out as he hit you, shutting your eyes tightly. “You fucking cunt,” he muttered the words, trying to keep his calm.
Hot tears streamed down your face as you tried to formulate your apology. “I didn’t do anything, I swear.”
It was like he didn’t hear you, shaking his head as he continued to whisper to himself. “I leave for one second and you’re with another guy. I swear I can’t even leave you alone anymore.”
You were hurt by the comment, more tears streamed from your eyes. “It wasn’t like that,” you defended.
He looked at you for the first time since it happened, his face a shade of red from either anger or sadness. “Do you even love me?”
You leaned against the car door, balling yourself up. The fact that he even asked the question hurt most of all. The idea that, even for a moment, he thought you didn’t love him. That you didn’t love him with every fibre of your being.
Your love for him was the only thing keeping you here. If you didn’t, you would have felt the first time he ever hurt you. It was love that kept you from running away when he yelled at you. It was love that made you cry when he questioned it.
You cried so hard, you couldn’t stop yourself. Burying your face between your knees, you balled your eyes out. Your heart burned as you let it out for him to see. You wanted him to see how much you loved him. How you would do anything for him.
You felt his hand wrap around your waist, pulling you up closer to him. You pulled away in protest, holding your legs tighter. “Please,” he whispered, his voice sad and soft to your ears. You opened your eyes to see a tear run down his swollen face. You felt your heart break even more, seeing him cry.
You nodded, allowing him to lift you onto his lap. Straddling him between your legs, you kissed his thick lips with all the energy you had left in you. All the passion, love and unsaid confessions. You poured into him, pushing your chest against his and running your hands through his hair.
You gave yourself to him with the kiss, showing him all the love you had build up inside. Proving that no matter what, you loved him with all your heart and nothing could make you leave.
“It’s okay, Chanyeol,” you whispered, feeling like he watching, like he could hear you.
Chanyeol turned to you, his face red with embarrassment. “Really?”
You smiled. “Maybe you can read my mind.”  Chanyeol blushed harder, showing his bright teeth with a grin. He stared at the ground to hide his happiness.
“I think we should get the food now.” He changed the subject to have an excuse to get up. You followed him as he walked to the concession building, the overwhelming smell of popcorn taking over your senses.
You couldn’t remember the last time you’d been to the movies. You had forgotten how much you loved it. The excitement of seeing a film on the big screen as you stuffed your face with popcorn.
Chanyeol led you to the waiting line, taking a spot at the end. “What are you going to want?” You noticed he was still blushing when he asked the question.
You looked up at the menu, checking for anything that caught your interest. “I’m honestly fine with whatever.”
“Ah, don’t do that. There has to be something catching your eye.”
“Well… I really like licorice.” You raised your shoulders, giving him a shy smile.
You moved up in the line, getting closer to the counter. “Licorice it is.” Chanyeol nodded his head and closed his eyes.
Waiting for your turn, neither of you said anything. When the server called you over, Chanyeol took the lead. “Um, can we get a large popcorn, two blue slushies…” He bend down and took two packs of licorice from the candy case, placing them on the counter. “Two packs of licorice.” He gave the server a polite smile.
The server nodded and grabbed the popcorn and drinks before coming back. “That’ll be seventeen eighty-five.”
“Jesus,” Chanyeol muttered to himself so that the server wouldn’t hear. “Ah, debit.” Despite the distaste toward the price, Chanyeol still payed, tapping his card to the machine. You took the slushies in your hands, while Chanyeol took the licorice and popcorn.
“Thank you, you didn’t have to do that,” you said as you followed him out of the building.
“Sure I did, we’re on a date. Aren’t I supposed to pay.”
“A date? I don’t remember agreeing to that.”
“Did I not mention that when I asked?” He turned his head to see you behind him.
“No.”
“Oh, well, must have slipped my tongue.”
“You sent it over text,” you responded, reminding him on how he asked you out.
“I do not recall.” He turned his head back to see where he was going.
You only sighed at his answer, not bothering to respond, there was no point. He stopped outside his car, pulling the keys from his pocket as he tried to keep the popcorn balanced in the other. With a beep the doors unlocked and you each got in.
You set the slushies in the center console and he put the popcorn and licorice on his lap to start the car up. The radio was already on the station and the sound of the trailers started to play. “Ha, just in time!” Chanyeol situated himself as he spoke.
“Are you finally going to tell me what movie we’re watching?”
“I actually don’t know.” He pressed his lips into a thin line and looked around the car to avoid looking at you.
“You what?” All this time you were under the assumption that he had the whole night planned out.
“Yeah, I kinda came up with everything on the spot. I was driving past your house and thought ‘hey, I really want to see her again’ and that’s when I texted you. Lily had told me you liked movies so I drove here. Then I just got tickets to a random theater.” He avoided your gaze the entire time he spoke. Looking everywhere other than where you sat.
You giggled at the story. “‘Hey, I really want to see her again’?” You repeated through your laughter.
“What’s so funny about that?”
“It’s just really cute,” you laughed. “I’m flattered.”
He straightened his back, trying to be proud and manly, which caused you to laugh even more. You took a piece of popcorn and threw it at him. “You insult my pride, miss.” He slumped back down and threw a piece of popcorn back at you. It hit you in the nose, landing on your lap. You picked it up and stuck our face out at him, dropping it in your mouth.
“I’ll insult your pride if I please.”
You never did figure out what movie you were seeing. You never even looked in the direction of the screen. Instead, keeping your eyes on Chanyeol, watching all his different mannerisms and movements. Like the way he twitched his lips when he got nervous and how he’d laugh when you made him blush.
You couldn’t help but smile every time you noticed him doing it. Leaning against the headrest, you felt your cheek hurt for how much you smiled. It was like a scene you saw in movies, but never experienced yourself.
Chanyeol was a different world than the one you were used to. The complete opposite of him. Chanyeol made you feel happy, made you smile without having to fake it. He didn’t make you feel guilty, make you feel worthless. He wasn’t like that.
It hurt you to even think that someone could be anything like him. That someone could be so cruel and full of hate that they would destroy the one they said they loved. It was sickening to think about.
You wouldn’t do that. Not again.
