A lot of the time, Quinn takes photos of you with the camera since he thinks you look gorgeous in that cream white silk slip dress you like to wear on fancy dinner dates

Don't get me wrong, Quinn's dress shirt and tie are your weakness, so there are definitely pictures of him smiling while wearing his cute outfit for the night

at the rink

Whether at their games or just practice, you have your camera out to take photos the team

You have many shots of the Canucks' home arena, especially post-games where the seats are empty and you're waiting for Quinn, but the atmosphere is so calm you have to capture it

At first, you were a little embarrassed to have your camera out, especially at the games, but Quinn told you that nobody else takes photos like you, and they are good memories to have

Since he can remember, Quinn Hughes has been in love with Alice. They met in high school and began dating in sophomore year. There were ups and downs in their relationship; they faced long distance, Quinn's NHL draft, and more long distance. However, they think that everything they went through was worthwhile in the end. And It was. Their relationship was built on a deep and genuine love for one another because of the challenges they faced.

Alice quickly became a beloved WAG who was a fan favourite from the beginning of Quinn's NHL career. Alice was gentle, kind, and down-to-earth, qualities that gave her a serene and approachable presence that drew others to her. Everyone had told Quinn that they were meant to be.

So when news of their unexpected breakup surfaced in the early fall of 2024, it surprised many.

dailygossip 🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨 NHL player Quinn Hughes and Estonian food blogger Alice Goodman break up! Early this morning, the now-former high school sweethearts made their breakup public.

The Canucks’ defenseman announced the split first and asked for both parties' privacy via Instagram story. Alice posted a similar story of her own a few minutes later.

It's unclear how their relationship ended, but Quinn and Alice both said in their announcement that it was mutually agreed upon. Do we all believe that, though?

You sigh as the afternoon sun streams through the campus library's windows. The sun reflected off the screen of your computer, causing you to squint.

It wasn't as stuffy and humid as it had been when you first walked in, full of determination to ace your midterms. Your notes were chaotically arranged all around you, with books and highlighters placed messily. You decided it was time for a break as you watched the scene in front of you and felt a sudden headache.

You pull out your phone and scroll through Instagram, TikTok, and then back to Instagram, uninterested in what social media has to offer during your break. As you skip through Instagram stories, you suddenly stop at one with a black screen and text, thinking it must be some sort of news, apology, or announcement. That's how influencers and celebrities operate. Rather than reaching out to an actual reporter, they communicate via Instagram. You thought that was a pretty odd way of doing things.

But as you stopped on the story, you recognized the account: Alice Goodman. One of the sweetest girls you could ever meet. You interned at a law firm with her a year ago and became good friends. However, you haven't spoken in a while because neither of you interns at the firm anymore. The only way you communicate is by liking each other's social media posts.

You had a sudden wave of sympathy for the girl because it appeared that the story was a breakup announcement. During your time at the law firm, Alice rarely talked about her boyfriend, but you knew she was seeing a professional athlete and was extremely in love. Her face would light up whenever he texted or called, and her posts of their little dates were ones to be jealous of.

You studied the post for a few seconds before deciding to text Alice. DMing her on Instagram felt impersonal, so you pulled her phone number from your contacts and sent her a quick text.

You: hey alice. i know we haven't spoken in a while, and this may seem weird, but i saw your instagram story and wanted to ask if you're doing alright

Alice: hi Y/N! that's sweet of you to reach out. i’m hanging in there :) thank you for your concern

Alice: we should meet for coffee sometime; are you still studying in detroit?

You: yes, i am! i would love to see you again
