SS25 Final Piece #3

This is the third out of 4 illustrations of my final piece for our first topic. This is to summarise and conclude my knowledge gained within the first topic of the course.

I first began to research eight different illustrators and gathered images of their work. Secondly, I researched four different cat walk looks from Spring Summer 2025; one from London, one from Milan, one from New York, and one from Paris. I then gathered images of the looks and printed them off.

Next, I paired up the illustrators' work, making sure their art styles contrast. I chose Isabelle Feliu and HelloClaire for the New York catwalk look. The look was designed by Naeem Khan from his collection, "How do I Make Evil Glamorous".

I first began to trace the outline of the figure and dress using a pencil. I then added detail of the torso.

I chose the body to be in the style of Isabelle Feliu and the dress in the style of Hello Claire. For the body, I used promarker and fine liner. For the dress I used watercolour paint.

Overall, I think this is a really pretty illustration, yet not my favourite. If I were to improve this, I would add more depth and detail to the dress.
