funny how he ends the conversation just as I'm about explain the entire timeline of the isreali occupation
#my dad goes “you shouldnt speak on this if you arent properly informed”#but when i inform myself and do extensive research that all makes his worldview crumble he backs out. curious#hes not an isreal defender by any means and even agrees with me when i bring sources to the table to back up my arguments#but hes definitely a centrist. hes the type of guy to say “both sides are in the wrong here 😔 very sad situation”#as if isreal and palestine are equals in this.#isreal has nearly the entire western world and all major western media backing it. palestine has nothing#isreal is an apartheid state that occupies gaza and controls their food water and medical supplies#even in other countries those who oppose them are arrested and even killed. but sure. theyre both equally in the wrong#thats not even mentioning the fact that the entirety of palestine is being punished for the actions of hamas#(which is collective punishment)#(which is yet another war crime)#its getting to the point that i can count the list of international laws that isreal HASNT committed on one hand#and the more i learn about isreals history the more i stand with palestine#how he can possibly remain neutral in a time like this is incomprehensible#james.txt
