They aren't that cheap, at least now, since they went up about 20% since I bought mine, but man they're cheaper than a Toyota, and are just a reliable, with the added bonus that spares are cheaper.

Upstate NY anon- you make a good point! Aesthetics are one thing, but a vehicle is a tool, and safety is damn more important. As much as I like the flat faces of the Isuzu trucks (pretty sure that’s the brand) & they feel safer to be on the road with compared to those fuckoff large vanity pickups, it doesn’t matter if they’re both bad at seeing pedestrians.
