i would love to do more but this was already a huge challenge

#crunchchute art #my art #sam and max #sam & max #i hope it will be viewable as i dont know how much tumblr will crunch it #in any case i have it up on twitter also and it seems to be in good quality there #it looks like a 'the 7 human souls:' meme hfhdhf #hey i can put more thoughts in the tags right? so first i didnt really put enough effort into my own one and i kinda realized my style #is kinda mid ngl. cause im lazy + this coloring style might not really fit them. anyway.#for sootnukis style i adore the rendering of the clothing folds and stuff but i couldnt get it just right it remains a mystery to me #silcrow i tried to do a traditional drawing but kinda messed up some of the coloring especially on the pants #also couldnt figure out if its just markers or markers + pencils or what. so i kinda did my own take of 90% markers 10% pencils #mtsodie i love the color palettes and the shapes so that was a lot of fun to try; i like the outcome #narnour i absolutely love the tiny little eyes and how goofy and round they look so that was fun to try to replicate too #as well as the colors which i mostly color picked cause i couldnt get a red overlay right #zembo was a nice way to revisit a chalky brush that i havent used in ages not sure if i got it right though #applettoast i feel like theres some gorillaz influence or its at least something i used while coloring. as you might know i used to draw #gorillaz a lot and tried to replicate the coloring etc. and i think it fit here. correct me if im wrong lol #snuckeys was also hella fun cause i love the cartooniness and the details like the teeth showing gums and stuff. hope i did it justice #also the eyes! i love the big highlight and that the eyes are brown its cute #it was nice to branch out for a bit

There was a post I saw about someone who mutually ghosted a guy after a date and kept matching with him and they're not interested but it's the longest "relationship" the person had been in at that point and I'm like. Karen would mutually ghost someone.

She doesn't really tell Brent/Right/Evelyn/Chris his name (he has a double first name, Patrick is not his last name) and just refers to him as "My Guy". Like "Ah damn, My Guy matched again. End my suffering." And when she tries to explain it to Right who does NOT understand how it's different, her logical answer is "it's my God given right to ghost a polite man!"

Also I just imagine her confiding in Paul about Rick and he's like "is his name Patrick" and she's like "kinda". And after that, Paul calls him "Pattycakes" cause he's never even seen the guy so why not give him a funny little nickname. He's allowed to do so at this point probably.

MOE. SUMMER ALT‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

BIGGEST thing about Moe history is that for Literally Actual Years. I have been trying SO hard to get a beach outfit for it Right. I always had some aspects of it in mind (the white cover-up -- initially sheer, but I like the idea that it's a light shawl kinda like Lyon's, here). But a lot of my designs felt too feminine. Moe is about Balance. Moe is about Mishmash. Moe is about The Silly Factor. It's also unexpectedly practical and loves questionable fashion choices.

All this in mind! I think its Look really came together when I decided to give it some sporty touches. I esp love the wet shoes... and the visor works so well on it?? The little fish skeleton is a handmade accessory (not actual bones.), like its "tail" in its everyday outfit. I imagine it's jointed/maybe chain linked, so it has some movement to it! The skeleton adds a bit of edge it always has, and ALMOST. Gives a manta ray silhouette paired with the shawl (most noticeable in the topmost art! Didn't set out to do that, but when I noticed this I ran w it LMFAOO)

I GOT IT JUST RIGHT #and then i added details impulsively in pen and the design got too busy. it really needs to be simple.#so what did i do? painstakingly scratch off the pen with a knife.#it's such a small drawing... but it was so perfect.... perfectly capturing everything i wanted to capture w a summer moe...#another thing is that i think sometimes you have to make sacrifices. like. a lot of my prev designs #made a point to show moe's top scars and ESP. its nipple piercings. but like. nothing seemed to work.#i think also bc i have to ask myself 'would moe feel comfortable wearing that?' both gender and autism wise #the sheer cover ups looked so uncomfortable. and i also think about what parts of moe's body #is it most uncomfortable with. thighs ranking first. its shorts always have to be around knee length #i think in second would be its waist/hips. not so much that it Can't be shirtless esp w top surgery #but enough that like. a cozy cute shawl might be nice.#little things change between each drawing too LMFAOO like changing the wristband color from red to green #NONE OF THIS FELT FINAL. all of it feel like I'M GETTING. going outside when it's 91 degrees out and taking pictures of the dozens of wasps flying around is absolutely one of my favorite activities it is so fun i HIGHLY recommended it

#they were so cute. i have SO many pictures but my camera died so i gotta wait a bit to go through them but i will be sharing bc i got some #really good ones there were a few wasps that sat real nice for me and i also i saw so many other cool bugs it was magnificent again #i HIGHLY recommend going out and taking pictures of bugs u dont even have to do it when the sun is directly above u and it's hot out #u can do it in other temperatures i prommy. Also! i m fairly certain i saw a bee fly and it was so cute!!! i was like!!!!! that looks that #that one pokemon it HAS to be a beefly and i will id it soon when i can access my pics but it was soooo cute <3 #also the wasps are paper wasps not 100% sure which ones off the top of my head but def paper wasps #they were v chill some even came over and landed on my head it was fun #and im not kidding there were SO many like my photos are all of them close up and one at a time but there were never less than #5 right near me like there were so many i had to watch my step bc they were everywhere and i didnt want to hurt them #and they're so cute i got some good pics of them grooming and looking at me w their cute little eyes #also i saw a few jumping spiders (there are A TON around our house) but i did not get many pics bc they like sitting on the fence and #anytime i would come near to take a pic they would scurry around to the other side of the fence posts and stare at my w their big eyes #and run to the other side when i tried to move to get their pic so yeah they were too wary for pics today but that's okay i already #have soooo many pics of them lol

All I know about the new descendants movie is osmosis from tumblr and combining that with the media I think of when someone says Alice in Wonderland is making for tbh the movie in my brain is probs very different than what I've heard the new one is like.

And that media is the Royal Ballet's Alice in Wonderland. Its a lovely comic ballet, and my favourite dances are The Mad Hatter's Tea Party (tap! in a ballet! also in this clip played by Steven McRae, who i want to know more about and watch more of his stuff as i have heard good things about from other dancers I know), and the Tart Adage, which is frickin hilarious. (also the way that the King of Hearts just droops around in the background and its like yup. thats Red's dad apparently.)

So uh everyone should watch these clips simply because they're amazing and I love them.

#also i'm aware to an extent that the mad hatter or like his son or something is in the film #but i choose to ignore that character #as my brain already created a mad hatter kid oc and i dont want to part with her or change her #the oc is fully inspired by the ballet's mad hatter #his dancing #tap #and manner #and also colour scheme and outfit #her name is Rhiannon because i like the sound and also can be shortened to Riri which is fun and also the sound of rhi sounds like the end #of mercury #and mercury poisoning in hatters may be like the reason the hatter is the character he is #so fun times #her colour scheme is like a more toned down version of the hatter in the ballet #pinks and greens #with a fashion style that draws from a whole lot of eras from the last century and a half #nearly 200 years really #and also i have this half baked tap routine in my head to ALICE by PEGGY that i adore so that ties in nicely #also idk how much the film used wonderland #or backwards logic but im sure it was not enough #especially with mundane things #Riri shows up on her first day in a 1960s inspired shift dress like oh yeah i wore this because i didnt want to take up too much space in #my luggage #i packed the stuff that would take up the least room #open up her suitcases #eleventy billion petticoats spill out that definitely would take up more room than a shift dress #i love the 60s for her #especially with the wild patterns and colour combos you can see #also twiggy inspired eye looks #descendants #disney descendants
