I went to a donut shop and they had soda-flavored ones!

I was drawn to it because it looked like Sea Blue 🍩

Cute!!! Of course, it was delicious!

And, as you may have also noticed... I got more clothes in colors similar to Sea Blue!

Since I found out that my member color is Sea Blue, I’ve been attracted to Sea Blue things anyhow  💎✨

I went shopping with my brother on New Year’s Day sale, and he said: “This jacket is really Sea Blue! Let’s buy it!!”, so I took his word and bought it... 😌

“💎MadoP no Oshigoto!💎”

Yesterday, i mentioned “Free!” in the MadoP corner! Today I will write about “Free!”!

I encountered it when I was in the upper grades of elementary school! 🎒

When I was in elementary school, under my brother’s influence I came to like “K-ON!”, which led me to do a lot of research on the production company Kyoto Animation!

Then I came across “Free!”...

When I watched the anime out of curiousity, the depiction of water was too beautiful to describe and I was fascinated and absorbed in it...  🏊‍♂️✨

I had already liked works similar to Free! (basically, I have a weakness for coming-of-age stories).

The first season of “Free!” begins with a group of high school students starting a swimming club, but later in the movie “High Speed” the story revolves around their middle school days, and it was very exciting 😢🔥

For those of you who are about to start watching it! There are many seasons, but I think you should watch them all 😎

Because every single season is the best...

As I was writing this, I realized...

At the time, I was in elementary school, but their age hasn’t changed much at all!

(In the current season, the main character Nanase Haruka and his friends are in the first year of University, so we’re the same age...)

“Free!” has plenty of character songs, and I like that too💙

I particularly love Yamazaki Sosuke-kun’s character song “Just wanna know”...

Also!

Nanase Haruka-kun, Tachibana Makoto-kun, and Matsuoka Rin-kun’s “NEO BLUE BREATHING”! It’s also a really good song......

Somehow! He also composed and arranged “Go Your Way” by OCHA NORMA (the Hello Pro Kenshuusei Unit at the time) !!!!!

When I received the demo song and noticed that, I was so happy and filled with various emotions! I was making a lot of noise at home 🤣🤣💙

20. what is your favourite song at the moment?

we begin with a tough one!! 🌪🌪 I couldn't choose Just One, but i think the one closer to being my genuine fave at the moment is fue mejor by kali uchis! I absolutely love the atmosphere she creates throughout the entirety of sin miedo, but it's just. incredibly *chef kiss* in fue mejor, and the lyrics oh my god... 🥺🥺 i just Know this song would have had a major impact on me if it had been released during hs.. 😭💙

the other faves I have right now are unchained by the veronicas.... it was featured in a show I'm watching lately + i forgot how much of a fucking capital b BANGER it is... i love how upbeat and punchy the rhythm is and the chorus, UGHH. it's not enough to say that i miss you!!! I've also been loving get real by chairlift- that song is just. whoo girl. i love caroline polachek's voice and chairlift's instrumentals are normally always really good but that song is something else from them <3

29. favourite film(s)

I think Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind holds that rn, i cried. a Lot watching that film and it's just so so good.. Ghibli altogether has a near and dear spot in my heart + I'm excited to marathon my collection once we move! I also really liked 28 Days Later- my brother-in-law and I watched a lot of apocalypse films to pass the time when we first had to quarantine and this one... fuck man. found family in zombie movies,, it hits different 🥺 If anyone is interested in watching it, please be cautious of the racism, sexism and rape perpetuated + attempted by the antagonists towards the end of the movie (the racism being holding a black man who'd become a zombie in chains) My brother and I watched a short video essay about The Wandering Earth + i genuinely cried just watching that, so i REALLY want to see it even though i think it will kill me..

35. favourite subject

music ofc <3 and I still have so much to learn!! i know Nothing about chords beyond like. "oh this is what a tritone, major seventh, etc looks like". I'm really uneducated on like. academic music theory, if that makes sense??? I know enough to be able to sing a sing but beyond that.. ahaha. I'm excited to learn about it all when I go back to uni, whenever that'll be lmao! Beyond music, I think I'd have to say math, which is kind of a surprise haha. I used to Love english and analyzing characters, authorial intent, etc but I've really just burnt out of it and Especially essay-writing. I'm not always great at math (helping my brother w school revealed how rusty i've become, mamba mimba), but there is something SO satisfying about breaking down issues and solving them mathematically. I also think it's insane how it can be integrated into SO much.. I saw a video about a woman who makes clothes with origami, and how she really depends on math to do that, and it's just... it's insane and I don't understand it + I think it would take me a long time to wrap my mind around How people even begin to do that, but that's fine! it is endlessly fascinating!

49. where i want to be right now

unsure with whether or not this question is meant physically or like. in general, so I'll answer for both? ^^/ I think I'm always going to miss being at my sister's house (and maybe esp during lockdown?), that's just an ingrained part of my identity now haha. beyond that, I'd reaaaaallly love to be in a new house so that I could do everything I've been wanting to do since I graduated/flew home. I was supposed to take a gap year after graduation to recover from how absolutely burnt out I was, but because our current house is a monster house, I really haven't been able to. once we move I think I'll be much better off :')

on the topic of better off, I really wish i had a job.. a lot of the stress and just. shitty parts of living rn, outside of The House, comes from the fact I don't have a stable source of income right now. I won't go into detail but I have to ration things + second-guess my purchases and it just hhh, It feels Bad yk. :( Plus I'm supposed to be taking vocal lessons as of this month to begin preparing for auditions but um uh. 😳😳😳 so i guess, overall, I want to be in the future haha. this is a rough patch but it has to end eventually ^^
