OCTONAUTS THEORY STUFF-

What if Professor Inkling was the one who discovered Kwazii first instead of Captain Barnacles?

Like it would actually make sense- sure Kwazii and Barnacles have a strong bond, but the bond between Kwazii and Professor Inkling is also quite close too.

How I think they met and how Kwazii became an Octonaut because of him:

When Professor Inkling could still go on adventures properly, he went to research on a island that’s barely been looked at before. But a storm hit the Gup he was in and it ended up crashing onto the shore of a small island. Luckily he was alright, and got out of the Gup safely, but he heard the sound of someone struggling from nearby. So he went there and saw a orange cat which was stuck under a small poorly-made boat which also got washed onto the shore by the storm, he helped the orange cat out and healed any wounds he got. They then introduced themselves each other,

The orange cat said his name was “Kwazii”, and that he was a pirate.

Professor Inkling said his name and also stated he was an Octonaut,

Kwazii got interested and asked more about it. This got them deep into a conversation. It went on for minutes and minutes of asking questions and telling stories about them. But after some time, Captain Barnacles came along with another Gup to rescue Professor Inkling. Professor Inkling introduced Kwazii to Barnacles and they talked about a few stuff. Yet they didn’t want to stay too long, so Professor Inkling and Barnacles went into the new Gup, but noticed Kwazii staring at his destroyed ship. They thought about something for a bit then asked Kwazii if he wants to tag along for a bit. Kwazii said yes and went along with them to the Octopod. He got introduced to the rest of the crew nearly straight away.

Penguin named Peso, currently the newest Octonaut. Was quite shy at first.

An Otter named Shellington, a scientist. Who was interested in the bite and eyepatch Kwazii had on.

A dog named Dashi, the ICT and camerawoman. Who took some photos of Kwazii.

A bunny named Tweak, the engineer (or whatever they’re called). Was just casual.

And the Vegimals, who were quite excited.

Kwazii was sorta overwhelmed by a big crew, but greeted them as nicely as he could. Anyways they let him stay in the spare room which was next to Captain Barnacles’s room, it had nothing much in it except for a shelf and a bed. Which Kwazii was fine with. Now at least a week goes by and Kwazii’s been helping out with stuff like missions (maybe a few missions with Captain Barnacles which caused them to bond a lot and get to know each other quite a bit) and maybe just helping them out with stuff around the Octopod. And Professor Inkling noticed this, he saw Kwazii having fun around the whole crew, it was like he use to be in one. He even saw what Kwazii did to modify the room he was in. So, at dinner time when Kwazii had finished early (since Kwazii had quite the appetite at the time) and went to his room, Professor Inkling talked to the other Octonauts about how they should let Kwazii join them. He more talked to Captain Barnacles about it but the others pitched in a bit here and there, yet they all agreed. So they waited till the next day for roll-call, and before that day they didn’t call Kwazii’s name, but this time they did and he was surprised. So then they told him the news and asked if he wanted to join. And Kwazii did have a tiny think about it, especially because he was a pirate still. But agreed and had officially joined the Octonauts. Captain Barnacles even mentioned that it was Professor Inkling’s idea. And Kwazii just smiled at him, and tried to contain his excitement.

That’s it. And that’s maybe why they bond so well, because of their past together.

I just love how Kwazii and Professor Inkling bond, it makes me smile.

But I would like to say that I have more theories about who found Kwazii first and how he joined, this is just one of them!
