Hades Headcanons? Mayhaps

Mostly for how I think Hades 2 will go.

Zagreus doesn’t know Melinoe exists. Melinoe doesn’t know Zagreus exists. When they meet in the Underworld, it’s like the Spiderman pointing meme. I think Zagreus would be ecstatic to find out he has a sibling, but Melinoe might not care one way or the other. Still, I think they’d get along great and cause a ton of shenanigans after they meet.

If Zagreus does show up, I think it’d be cool to see him as a boss you have to face. Maybe his weapon changes every run to some of the other ones you get in Hades. This could easily change up how you approach his fight, what Boons would work best depending on his weapon, and what weapon Melinoe should have to counter whatever Zagreus has.

I have a feeling Megaera and Thanatos won’t make an appearance in this game, same with most of the other characters from the first game, but it would be neat if other characters mention them. Back to fights with Zag, maybe instead of different weapons, he could pair up with Than or Meg like Meg could do with her sisters in the first game. Diversify the fight by making it difficult depending on who shows up, maybe by way of a new version of the Pact of Punishment.

Lastly, I’m gonna make a guess and say that you can romance a few characters in Hades 2 as well. I’d honestly be surprised if you can’t, because that was so cool to do in the first game. I loved being able to learn more about characters by giving them gifts. At the very least, I think that Nectar or something like it should come back in Hades 2, if only because it was an entertaining mechanic.
