wait how does she hate gillette thats so funny what’s i miss
Hahahaha it’s mainly n2 girls who are up in arms but it’s cuz there’s this fan lore that she loves Gillette and it’s special to her cuz it was her first stadium and first rain show. And she’s talked about those being positive experiences yea. But the New York shows are comparatively showing that she doesn’t see or treat Gillette as special at all because of all the goodies she saved for NY just one week after and how she gave Gillette pretty mid-low tier surprise songs. The worst offense tho is how after 3 hours of the worst monsoon rain shes ever had at a show, she then gave the LAMEST surprise song combo so far of the entire tour to n2. N1 and n3 got better songs even. And so the girls are just joking like the Gillette love from Taylor is a lie and she hates it and NY is her true best friend. This one is my favorite so far:

can we get some soft oli and mama fallon hcs?
oh man how pure?! i would be happy to tell you a lil bit about oliver and his lovely mother brigid fallon.
so as i’ve said before, oli’s momma passed away when he was just a few days into being sixteen, but god did he love her. he has a lot of good memories of her:
so first, i just have to establish some background information: brigid was born in the west of ireland but was raised mainly in cheltenham, a town in the UK, where she lived for most of her life up until having kids. oli’s older (half) brother james was born there, but james’ dad left before james was even a year old. at that point, brigid was fairly well-established at her job, and requested to be transferred to a new location, looking for a fresh start. once a job was secured, she picked up and moved to southern california with james, where she met oli’s father and had oli
shortly after oli was born, though, oli’s dad left brigid and there were complications with her job and she had to return to the UK office, so oli and james were both raised there for a few years - they ended up back in california around the time that oli was five, but he still has a lot of pleasant memories of his childhood in england and always remembers how his mom used to make the most delicious trifle, or how she used to have to go into london for conferences and would bring oli and james with her and she’d always do the funniest impression of the tube’s little ‘mind the gap’ announcement
after moving to los angeles, brigid would bring oli and james to a public rose garden near their neighborhood where they would spend hours finding their favorite smelling roses - one time oli picked one, even though he knew he wasn’t supposed to, because the peachy-golden color of it reminded him of his mom’s hair and he really wanted her to have it (she gently reprimanded him for taking it, but of course she kept it and once it began to wilt she hung it upside down so that it would dry nicely. it sat on her bedside table for her whole life, and after she died and oli moved out, he brought it with him to his own apartment. he still has it on his nightstand)
when oli first wanted to dye his hair - he was around eleven or so - brigid was in full support, and they made a whole day out of it, buying the bleach and three different colorful dyes at the drugstore, looking up hair coloring tutorials and pretending that their small apartment was a professional hair salon. brigid called oli ‘honey’ and ‘darling’ in her best exaggerated american accent and oli laughed and laughed and wasn’t even upset when the whole ordeal failed miserably and they had to resort to giving him a buzzcut
also, brigid was pretty much responsible for oli’s interest in skateboarding. she loved taking the boys to the beach, and oli’s favorite one was venice beach because of the skate park. brigid would encourage him to watch the more experienced skaters and practice whenever he felt comfortable, and she got him his own skateboard and a super cool shark helmet for his eighth birthday
oli’s favorite part of the day all throughout elementary and middle school was lunchtime - not because he’d always have cheetos to look forward to, but because his mom made a point of leaving uplifting or funny notes in her sons’ lunchboxes for them to find later. he saved every single one of them and has a small box where he still keeps them. he doesn’t look at them often but he likes knowing that he has a physical reminder of his mom’s thoughtfulness and humor
towards the end of brigid’s life, when her depression got bad and she was abusing her prescriptions, she spent most of her time in bed or resting on the couch. oli never knew what to do but he always wanted for her to feel better. he’d sit at the edge of her mattress and braid her hair and tell her about his day at school or about the new tricks he practiced at the skate park or about anything to make her smile, really
(ps, for everyone who is still unsure about who oliver fallon even is, he’s an original character of mine who goes along with the homie @swifty-fox‘s hot ukrainian hockey boy tasos)
